Whenever I need to return packages, I like to use this Walgreens as it is a FedEx drop off location. The employees who take my package are always so quick efficient kind, and helpful. Today I had Allen. He helped me cover up the old barcode on the box, and he actually helped me tape the box shut. He could've easily refused to help me do that. I am so grateful, he saved me a trip back home. They definitely have my business. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I was recently hospitalized, which got me diagnosed with diabetes. I am brand-new to insulin & diabetes medications as a whole. My doctor wrote in an Rx for a pill to be taken 2x/day, the pharmacy instructions said 1x/day. Subsequently, I was prescribed a long-acting insulin that is to be taken NIGHTLY. This was a different medication than originally prescribed due to insurance issues. The instructions said to take it once WEEKLY. Thankfully I questioned this & called them. The pharmacist was rude on the phone & kept saying that he did not fill the Rx, but still refused to take any accountability for this major error. If I had fully trusted & followed his instructions, I would have ended up back in the hospital or even worse. They clearly are not competent & they're just plain rude. I'd switch pharmacies for your own sake. read more

This is possibly the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. They usually don't have what you need in stock, and then they take an attitude with you if you complain. There appears to be a level of incompetency here and the head pharmacist has the personality of a piece of toast. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one! read more

Read all the reviews. The Pharmacy department is rude and nasty. The pharmacist should not be allowed to talk to people. Every time I go there, she is yelling at someone. The last time was an older gentlemen was told to get advil and Tylenol with his prescriptions. She pointed to the shelf and grunted. He couldn't understand the labels. She became agitated with him. Worst pharmacy ever. Never have medications right, never process them correctly through insurance, and they are never ready when they say they are. This place has gone steadily downhill since John left when it was RiteAid....as for me I moved everything to CVS. I'd rather travel then deal with the frustration. read more

You will find no compassion at this pharmacy. Had just returned from Urgent Care with my elderly father - doctor was concerned with a serious infection, and called in the prescription and gave us specific instructions. We waited for it to be filled. As soon as we were notified the prescription was ready, we got in the car to pick it up. I arrived at the pharmacy counter, and though there were four pharmacists there- they said they had just closed (it was LITERALLY one minute past five) so they would not hand me the anti-biotics in the bag behind them. I pleaded that they just notified me it was ready and I came right there. They didn't care, they said we would need to have the doctor call the prescription into another pharmacy as it was after 5pm. I told them the situation and how the medication was urgently needed... they just said, "Sorry," like I was asking them to ring up a bag of chips an hour after closing time. I stormed out and immediately called the Urgent Care office, but was unable to get through. So now the family is stressing about our elderly father/grandfather's condition, and I may need to miss work tonight to bring him to the emergency room if things worsen because the staff at this Walgreens didn't have the humanity or decency to hand a bag of just-filled, potentially life-saving medicine across the counter to me because the clock ticked one minute past the stated store hours. I'm sure they will all sleep well while our family stays awake all night. Seriously, the sales clerks at gas station mini marts have more compassion and conscience. Just awful. read more

I placed an online order went into the store to pick it up once it was filled. It was scanning the wrong amount Evelyn the shift lead told me that the store prices and online prices are different and this is what happened when you place an order for pick up. I declined taking the order and called customer service who called the store spoke with Dan the asst manager and told me they will fix it go back to the store. I went back to the store Dan was gone and was I left to deal with Lorraine the rudest store clerk I have ever dealt with. She refused to call Dan to see what to do, and then when I called customer service she ranted and raved how it was passed her time to leave and she isn't staying she doesn't know what to do. The online customer service rep placed me on hold to call the store Lorraine took the call place the rep on hold and went and hid in the back room for 15 with customer service holding on the phone. When she finally came back up she stated she was leaving. I said what about customer service she picked up the phone told them she was leaving ended the call. The rep got back on the line with me... at that time Lorraine started yelling and when my husband walked in to see what was going on she started to scream at him. I am glad it was all recorded on Walgreens cs line. Long and short had to cancel my order and will never shop there again. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

The manager doesn't seem to know what he's doing. He wanted me to pay for a photo order twice- after I showed him proof that I had already paid for it. He was extremely unhelpful and I will never set foot in this place again! Shame Walgreens has people like these working for them! I wish I got the managers name. it was a total waste of my time. This review is solely for the pharmacy staff. I refilled my prescriptions here out of convenience since I've moved, as I usually refill at the Westbury location. The staff here is atrocious. No one could be bothered to help, and no one could be bothered to answer my questions about refills. I was told to check the bottle. Excuse me? I would but it says PARTIAL REFILL AND WE CAME TO FIND OUT THAT YOUR SYSTEM SAYS 2. How unprofessional! The pharmacy tech didn't even ask me to confirm who I was. Didn't ask for my birthday or address and just gave me the medication. If you don't want to deal with the public, then don't get a job where you have to interact with the public. It's quite simple. I will most definitely take the ride to get my prescriptions from a further location in order to deal with a friendly, competent staff, than interact with these rude, eye-rolling fools. Let's see how long this location stays open with staff who treat patrons like garbage. TRAIN YOUR STAFF WALGREENS! read more
