The CVS pharmacy on Great East Neck never fails to disappoint. I avoid using them opting for the private pharmacy in the village or the one in west islip. I can deal with the slow timing and out of stock situations but the rudeness and ambivalence of the staff is mind blowing. They fail to remember that they're not doing us a favor they're servicing clients that may be confused or unclear on their process. This team could use some training on patience and human kindness. read more

My wife called the pharmacy and was on hold for "the next available" person to answer the pharmacy phone. After 30 minutes on hold she opted to drive to the location...with phone in hand...still on hold. To say she wasn't happy would be a colossal understatement. When at the store she told me the announcements came over the store speaker system...2 pharmacy calls waiting...3...then 5...then 3...etc. All the while her phone was still on hold with said pharmacy and not one pharmacist or tech was answering the phone...Before my wife left for the store I called the front end and was told "give a number you can be reached at and give me 5 minutes and someone will call you back"...All I can say is I'm glad I wasn't hanging because no one got back to me. Guess we'll be switching to Walgreen's for our prescriptions from now on. read more

Unsafe parking lot, constant long lines at the pharmacy. Sometimes it's a mess, especially near the pharmacy line. Otherwise, it's a typical CVS. The worst part is some of the local riff raff they call customers. It has gotten so bad that I don't bring my kids with me anymore. I have considered complaining to corporate. read more

Called the pharmacy to get my script transferred. I called followed the directory got transferred to the pharmacy then I chose the option to talk to a pharmacist, I waited on hold for 40 minutes. I stared to panic and get nervous they were never going to answer so I hung up and quickly called back but now chose the option about the status of my script, I waited on hold for another 10 minutes. I started just saying pharmacist hopping someone would pick up but nothing. This is honestly really disappointing since I've gone to this cvs for years. I've never left a bad review but Regis is just so disappointing. YOURE DEALING WITH PEOPLES LIVES YOU CANT JUST LEAVE THEM HANGING !!! I called the other cvs in west Babylon and within a minute call their pharmacist checked if they had my medication, transferred it and will have it ready by tomorrow. It's a basic CVS. It has everything you'd expect. I've never had a problem with the cashiers or pharmacists. As the other review says, the parking lot could be a lot roomier or at least designed better. Park in the back if you don't want to deal with the tightness of the parking. read more

They need to get on the ball in ALL locations with their prescriptions and the lines, lines, lines. Can I ask why people are checking out all their purchases at the pharmacy register??? This is definitely what is slowing things down. Customers should be told to take their OTHER purchases to front of store. Other places with the same volume of customers do a much better job of moving those lines. read more

Stopped in for a few items while we were in the area visiting friends. Now that I think about it I should have snapped a few pics. This store was an absolute disaster. Not just the seasonal aisles but the first aid and vitamin aisles looked like someone deliberately trashed the shelves. Being a retail sales person myself, no one clearly straightened these shelves for days maybe even weeks, The parking lot had garbage in the pathway leading into the store. I wanted to speak to a manager about his/her deplorable store condition but did not waste my time. I am so surprised to see a CVS store in shambles. No excuse. This CVS location is like every other with what they offer for sale; however, if it weren't for their convenient location I would go elsewhere. I usually come here JUST to pick up my prescription and no matter WHAT time I arrive (be it early in the morning, or later in the day) there is a line waiting for me. I like to think of myself as a pretty patient person, but I can never understand why I am waiting in a line to pick up a prescription and the person in front of me has a box of Cap'n Crunch (the delicious berry one, but I digress). It's ridiculous. I would understand if the other patrons were picking up a 'script along with their other purchases, but more often than not that isn't the case. Why aren't people directed to the front for their store purchases so that those picking up their prescriptions can be in and out? Picking up an eScript should be an easy and very short process, but doing it here has been time consuming and annoying - EVERY TIME. My last gripe, and perhaps most important, is the death trap they call a parking lot. This parking lot is WAYYY too small, and oftentimes it's packed! I've had to park in the lot across the street sometimes, and to be honest I was probably better off. More often than not I have seen cars come thiiiiiis close to an accident. It's very dangerous! Be careful and be aware especially while reversing. read more

I agree with eveyone regarding the parking concerns but my issue is that the outside is always littered with garbage. It is just a huge eye sore and would require just a bit of effort to keep the area looking better. I much prefer to shop at a cvs that takes some pride in its presentation. read more
