In a separate room, a young woman took measurements of my legs to make sure that I purchased the correct size in either the Jobst or Sigvaris stockings. With measurements in hand, Yusef diligently and patiently went through walls of stockings and picked out the ones I required per the prescription. When the cashier rang up purchase and my FSA card only accepted one stocking, Yusef quickly redid the purchase so that my FSA card would accept two stockings as written by the doctor and provided me with an extra receipt for my records. The stockings are definitely more expensive at the pharmacy than online. The extra cost was worth it knowing that I was measured for the correct size, time saved from having to search online and price compare, and manage receipts from an online store. All-in-all, top notch service! Further, the pharmacy is clean, well-organized and in addition to the usual pharmacy fare, also carries some hair accessories, "Butter" fingernail polish, unique skincare products, etc.

I just called this pharmacy to inquire about my scripts being transferred from Cary Rx to them…read more First of all, I don't like this pharmacy because they are very unprofessional, this woman I spoke to was very rude and did not give me a chance to explain my situation, someone told me last week from there that my scripts would automatically be transferred there on last Friday. I tried to prevent this by informing Cary to send my scripts to capsule pharmacy on last Wednesday, but they did not. I did not find out that Cary was closing until a day before, so I found CAPSULE pharmacy that same day. Come to find out my scripts haven't even been sent to KALORAMA according to the person I spoke to. I had a negative experience with these people years ago so this is the last place I wanted my scripts to go. They have not changed.

The new manager asked me to return since he has really been trying to transform the customer service experience. I have occasionally gone back. I won't use the pharmacy since one mistake is enough. The older seasoned employees seem to care more than newer ones. My "to go" store is still Aldi, but Safeway is convenient and not as disappointing as Walmart on H Street (having said that, the Walmart pharmacy on H street is the best in the city). There are decent sales on ice cream, condiments and soups. The Starbucks inside the store has limited seating. The phone service in the store is almost non-existent on Sprint lines. It seems like something blocks the signal. I can't call anyone from inside the store since the call will drop. There is free 60 minute parking in the garage. You can get your ticket validated at the self service register station.

Ended up with exactly what I needed and the prices were great! Passed an employee who didn't say anything. While looking for something in the aisle, he looked up and apologized for not greeting us. He was trying to restock quickly because he was being asked to do something else. I appreciated the explanation, since sometimes we customers forget that employees are people with concerns running through their minds too.
