I wasn't sure of the procedure but I had opened my cvs app and it showed a number to tell them. I told the guy and it seemed to work. He asked me a few questions including did I want a Covid or flu shot. I said no several times but he kept asking. I'm not sure if cvs requires staff to do this, but one "no" should suffice. If I'm going through the drive through it's because I don't want to come in, especially not for a shot. The pharmacist came to the window to ask about the prescription, because I've had a reaction to it in a different form in the past. I very much appreciate her concern and that she took the time to make sure I could use it for this instance. I've also liked the guy who helped me in the past because he has been quick and efficient. I just wanted to get through quick yesterday. I'll continue to come to this cvs when I'm not near my home cvs.

And ALMOST always, the staff is super friendly, whether that be at the register, on the floor, or at the pharmacy. This one was no different. I needed a gallon of distilled water and walked in to find an immaculate store. After wandering around for a few, I finally asked where to find the water and the cashier was happy to walk me right to the aisle! When I went up to pay, she asked for my rewards card. It appears mine has expired and so has my wife's, and rather than make me sign up to realize there was no immediate benefit, she checked the item first with hers, which I was so appreciative of since my whole crew was sitting outside in the car. Again, I don't know why CVS seem to always have these ratings, but they don't deserve it. In an age when retail is really going the way of the dinosaur, prices aside (because you definitely do pay for convenience), CVS is still doing it right.

Today I had a very trying experience getting my wife's prescription refilled at CVS. The issue was…read morethat the doctor sent the prescription to Tucson where my wife was last week and because of flight schedules and other things she didn't get it there. So we had it transferred to our CVS here in Carlsbad and that's where the drama started. CVS has a new system or you can't call and just talk to someone you have to leave a message and they will call you back brand new system. so thanks to two superstar employees Nadia and Hassan who took an incredible amount of time and dedication of what they do to make this work today. I cannot say enough good things about this Pharmacy today and how they took care of a problem that wasn't theirs. All I can say from my wife and I is thank you you went above and beyond.

I hate it because my meds are never ready when they say they are. Some of the staff are like cardboard cutouts. They don't always have a pharmacist talk to you when you get a new prescription. Some of the staff are so excruciatingly slow that you just want to put your car in park, walk into the building, into the pharmacy and take care of it yourself. Even though you would have no idea what you are doing, you are convinced that you could figure it out and still do it faster than them. They are great with routine medication refills, they have a great multi day pick up window, which I very much appreciate, they give text reminders every few days if you haven't yet, had a chance to pick up your medications, which is super helpful for busy people like me, their staff has always been kind and patient, and the line has never been long to get my medication. I also enjoy going through the aisles of the store to browse, because they have lots of interesting merchandise, including seasonal items, grocery staples, vitamins, beauty products, house goods, etc. I recently switched to have this be my regular pharmacy because their hours are so much better than those of the one I was using prior. I hope other people have a great experience with them too. I really like them! Oh, also, I did sign up for the monthly membership thing, which more than pays for itself if you buy a couple things with the coupons they give you each month. On speaking to people and doing some research it seems what I experienced was not just down to individual staff rudeness bitt more a symptom of overall CVS issues people across the country are experiencing, especially related to poor and under-staffing. That said, there is no excuse for individual store assistants to be unprofessional and rude.
