I gave this location 2 stars because i think the public should know that there will always be a line and only 1 person on the register. I waited in line for over 25 min with two items. One register wasn't working and the self serve registers were faulty . My recommendation is that this place hire more people to work registers because this line is obscene . The staff is nice for the most part.. they try their best

Came by to pick up some meds that we needed. Love that we can quickly pop in, get it and check out fairly fast. Store was clean. Employee was friendly.

Don't look directly at this CVS for too long.

I am going to join the long line of people who have not enjoyed waiting in line at this lamentable CVS. The main problem I detected here is that the cashiers are simply withdrawn. This difficulty often coincides with the reality that people tend to treat convenience store clerks like wet trash. I was in line at this CVS making a valiant effort to buy one over the counter product. I remember being in at register 2 when a darkness fell over my trip, or should I say a light. That crazy light thing was on for register 3, which had a shorter line. I walked out of line at register 2, lost my spot in line, and went to wait in line at register 3. There was not a clerk at 3, but the light was on, so the clerk would be back. By the time I waked to 3, the clerk had returned. He informed me that the register was not actually open despite what the light might have indicated. Then he turned the light off on. 3. So I went back to wait in line 2 where all the magic was happening. Lest we forget my spot in line disappeared long ago. Register 2 quickly reminded me why I fled to 3 with all possible dispatch. The cashier was turning every aspect of the transaction into an opportunity to practice his or her slow motion skills. Every gesture, formality, and movement just took aeons inducing the kind of oh-my-gosh-when-will-this-person-return-to-space-time-where-we're-suffering(?) inner monologues that only occur when all adult concepts of patience have failed miserably. Just when circumstances could not deteriorate further, the customer in front of me in 2 decides to haggle about the fine points of a coupon for Dove Body Wash. The customer wanted to use the coupon to buy Dove Body Wash soap bars. Although there is an obvious difference between the two products, the customer felt that this was a detail worthy of debate. The cashier did not; the cashier believed that the picture of Dove Body Wash on the coupon only applied to bottled Dove Body Wash as depicted on the coupon. This resort to logic offended the sensibility of the customer who acted very chagrined. Almost as if the cashier was wrong about what the coupon depicted and the meaning of body wash. Plot twist: the cashier called for the manager just to double check and to keep the annoying customer at bay. The manager comes to register 2, agrees that the picture on the coupon matches the bottled body wash and can't be applied to Dove bars. Problem solved, the manager opens up register 3 to thin the line that developed due to the body wash controversy. Now that I was warmed up for absurdity, I went back to line 3. A line I was initially turned away from. A move that cost me the time I hemorrhaged rotting in line 2 due to losing my place earlier and enduring the coupon nonsense. My return to line 3 was a fitting end to the whole fiasco. Only someone with a background in mgmt. at CVS is adept enough to expediently ring people up, the cashiers there have limited skills and access because they do the same job every day. That's not a sarcastic remark. I believe cashier work dehumanizes and de-skills people to the point that they're not willing to win fights over Dove soap single-handedly. Another reason why this specific CVS is a relatively untidy, unpleasant place to be. No, really, there are random bags of Doritos and other refuse strewn about the premise. CVS's local customers don't much care for it, and the poorly paid staff are not much into sprucing up a storefront for customers who treat them with about as much respect as a gust of wind has for an empty Dorito bag. One star for not being on fire or vermin infested.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Two stars for that. But, DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT photo here. I don't know if it's their equipment or the fluorescent lighting in the store, but my first photo from them was rejected by the State Department, which just added to the long, arduous process of getting my passport renewed. Then when I went back to get it retaken, they did it for free, but the quality was just as poor as the first one. The photos were really, really bad. Like you look all washed out and pale and blurry and the colors aren't even true. I ended up going to the Upland Post Office to get another passport photo taken and it looked 20 times better. Save yourself the time. It's the same price to get it taken at the Post Office and the quality is far superb to what passport photos CVS is kicking out. And the State Department will be more likely to accept the Post Office photos. And since you have to live with it for 10 years, you might as well have a passport photo that looks decent.

Nice clean gas station, where theres no other ones around. Prime location, great investment (right…read moreabove the 210). This is ARCO, so if you're planning on stopping, just know that this is a cash/debit operation only. I personally HATE getting gas at places like this because that's real sucky in todays world, where credit cards have such great "point systems" for using your credit card at restaurants, gas stations or grocery stores. When it comes to service, it's great (there always seems to be 3+ employees on-site). A restroom is available in doors (just ask for a key) this is how they ensure low graffiti, and a clean restroom). MANY pumps are available, and their coffee selection is huge, they have tons of different creamers, syrups, a whip cream machine etc! Their food is always fresh, they mark each item with time expiration, ensuring fresh readily available hot food (hamburgers, hot dogs) etc. Plenty of drinks, with fridges labels "energy drinks", "diet", "sodas", "beer" etc. Making it easy on the eyes.

Another male cashier walked over and asked what the problem was, he told him, the second male responded, we should have change. The male with the accent said, no, I just turned in my box. No apology whatsoever, unprofessional is an understatement. Lots of people NEED jobs, perhaps, this individual isn't one of them. I visit the dog groomer next door every 2 weeks. I will make certain we do not purchase merchandise or gasoline from this AM/PM. Joanne (mgr), according to the low ratings, I'm not alone.

Thirty plus years ago, I was an employee at this Circle K in Upland. Yep, I used to work at a convenience store. They are story only... no gas station. Upon entry, I was amazed on how well kept it is. Bright and clean inside. Shelves were stocked and organized. They now have a beer cave. I said, WOW! After so many years, it looks better than ever. I strolled through all the aisles. It brought back so many great memories! When I worked here, it was a corporate store. Now it is a franchise. I was lucky to meet one of the franchise owners, Kevin. Super friendly and nice guy. I wish him and his brother all the very best in making this the best Circle K in town. Staff was amazing, too! I couldn't resist and had to buy something to support them. I got one of my favorite candy, Reese's Pieces, and $7 worth of scratchers. I still haven't scratched them. I'll save the scratch for Christmas Day. It was great to receive some wonderful nostalgia during my visit. I'll return to visit from time to time when I'm in the Upland area. Happy Circle K!

Unlike the 7-11 across the street. There were people hanging out at the front of the store. Inside it was well stocked and organized. I found what I wanted and went to the register. The cashier eventually came up and silently rang up my order. The only acknowledgment I existed was the items her scanned otherwise I have had more interactions with a self check out. They charge a $0.40 service fee for using a card. A bit high. This location has a Thrifty ice cream counter. Would I stop at this location again ? Yes if I needed something quick . Would I pass up an other convince store to go to this one ? No.
