There were a few cars scattered around the dimly lit parking lot but the interior was void of any customers, I quickly found the cold medication aisle and scooped up a box of the only cold remedy that I find helpful the drop drop fizz fizz cold and flu formula, a bag of Halls triple smoothing action cough drops and a giant bottle of water to complete the recipe for a quick cure. The staff was hanging out at the checkout counter since the store was already set for closing and looked as good as it did on opening day -this place was immaculate. You could literally be bleeding to death and they would still make you wait 25 minutes when you know damn well your prescription is sitting back there. Do yourself a favor, go across the street to the Acme pharmacy where you actually get treated with professionalism and compassion. When I did go pick up her meds, the staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I'd come to get the meds rather than have them delivered. 2 months ago, they sent her a text that they had planned to deliver her meds that day (not sure why they ignored my request to pick them up) but had only discovered that day that she needed refills, so her delivery would be delayed for 5 days. No apology, no offer of emergency meds to cover her, I guess she was just supposed to keep her blood pressure down with the power of her mind. Last month, again they ignored my request to not have her meds delivered and sent her a text that the delivery was on its way. No one showed up. She called the next day to ask where her meds were and they said they would be delivered the following week. Again, no apology, no emergency meds. I'd had enough and went to another pharmacy to transfer her prescriptions. The new pharmacy called me and said that Akron Health Mart Pharmacy had actually refused to allow the transfer until I called to tell them why. So, I did. She's now with the new pharmacy and we are so glad to be done with these folks. Please, save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

The pharmacist who looks overworked and burned out, I was able to yell to her. You don't have congestion and pseudoephedrine together back there? She said you mean Mucinex D yes I said.
