I was at self checkout I'm an older adult and my hearing is not the best some of the items I moved over scanner didn't scan right I also had some problems finding some barcodes the Walmart employee at the registers helped me they accused me of shoplifting and put me on some kind off list in my opinion they treat guilty until proven innocent. When a customer was unable to get any of their cards to work at checkout, they called the manager. After a dozen cards were attempted, they should have asked the customer to move their cart out of the line to allow other customers to proceed. Instead, they stood there explaining the situation for at least ten minutes. No attempt was made to allow other customers to go through and no apology for the delay that could have been avoided. read more

Stopped at Walmart after a church event around 10:30pm. It was pretty quiet and not too busy. The store was pretty clean. My mother and I was able to find everything we needed in a timely manner. We used self checkout and was able to check out pretty fast. They had armed security so I felt pretty safe being there at that time of night. Overall, great experience. read more

They are genuinely putting effort but nobody is perfect and these are hard times. I moved out of this area about 3 yard ago but will make the drive to this location before going g to the one down the road! I have honesty in the 7 yrs I've been shopping here, not had a single experience that was bad, every now and then you get the cashier that's not so pleasant but it's completely made up for the next time with one of the many wonderful, caring and just really good people they have working there! Went Christmas shopping, spent 300$ Connie the 11$ an hour assistant manager approached my husband and elderly father demanded a receipt. Husband explained I was getting the car and I had the receipt. Connie 11$ an hour assistant manager said to my 81 year old father to show her the receipt or she was calling the police. We invited her to please call the police as she was acting aggressively, showed her receipt and she continued to badger my elderly father and husband as we loaded the car. The store is always so dirty and just a mess. The bathrooms are destroyed, I have pictures I took because I went in and there was a Walmart employee, looking around like she might clean it. She didn't. She actually shrugged her shoulders and walked out. I walked up to a register where three employees were hanging out, laughing and talking. When they saw me and my cart, they took off, fast. They left the light on the register, suggesting it was opening but no one ever came to it so I moved. You can never find employees. If you do see them and they see you standing at a counter or something, they will pick up their pace to walk away. Two weeks ago I had a cashier talking over my head to another cashier, telling her how her eye was infected and she kept touching it. I was so disgusted. read more

As much as I love walmart....I'm starting to dislike it! A lot of the shelves are always empty, the produce section is always low or everything looks old, there's ALWAYS only 4 registers open!! Walmart is always crowded, why not have more lanes open?!?! Some of the workers are rude or don't know anything. Do not like Brimfield Walmart. was shopping there isles filled with trucks filled with blue baskets and people filling them with call in orders. Empty shelves which they should have been filling . The parking lot is really bad. They let trucks park in the lane that doesn't have a stop sign so you can not tellvif anything is coming. Also the service is bad. I bought a tackle box there, they checked the box at the register and that was fine. I was 10 feet from the exit the guy there saw me buy the box, I get to the door and he says he has to check it again. Then the fool forces it open breaking it so I had to go grab another one and they were trying to make me go to customer service to exchange it. Told him he broke he takes it there. Wal-Mart has "moved" their Yelp page, probably because all prior reviews were unflattering. No wonder - this is the WORST Wal-Mart I've ever been in. I emailed the Home Office, advising them to send a 'secret shopper' team to evaluate this Arlington Road location. That was over a month ago, and although I provided great detail as well as contact info, I've gotten no response from Wal-Mart corporate. It took over a year (?) to remodel into a 'supercenter'. I suspect corruption and shenanigans, because we've all see an entire Wal-Mart built in less time. The shelves are half-empty, pricing is nearly impossible to find, the food department is dim, grimy, and smells. The staff seems to truly hate being there, and the Customer Service area should be on late-night TV as a parody of "customer service". There are (as usual) a multitude of checkout lanes, and only a few open at any time. If you want fodder for "People of Wal-Mart", this place is a GOLDMINE. Because there is a clean, well-staffed Target less than a half-mile away, it is a mystery why this Wal-Mart doesn't care about attracting and keeping shoppers. I believe it's the last stop on the Akron City bus line, which shouldn't matter...but what else could be the explanation? This used to be a nice store. I don't know why it seems intent on failing, but sadly, that's where it's headed. read more

I am so over this store! I keep giving them chances hoping they will get it right. Every time I place an order online they send me an email saying it is ready and then I get a call and they try to offer me an other item because the item I ordered is not available. No apologies and they have my money which I need to wait 5-7 days to receive a refund due to their mistake. They are never apologetic and always full of attitude. The management at the store really needs to do some customer service training with its employees. This store is very close to my home and from now on I will travel out of my way to the North Canton or Brimfield Kent location which are much further from my house because I am so frustrated with the service I have received here. read more

DO NOT TRUST THE PHARMACY WEBSITE TO BE ACCURATE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM!! Every time I look at the website to see if my elderly relative's scripts are ready, the information is incorrect. I have to call the pharmacy each time to verify that the scripts are ready for refill, or are awaiting pick up. They are very nice but can't offer any explanation why the pharmacy ordering system doesn't work right at all. Unfortunately, the Part D provider that we are required to use for my relative stipulates Wal Mart otherwise I would NEVER use them!! read more

Store is filthy, help is disrespectful and semi-intelligent with no marketing skills. Their website says "search our shelves" and when you do, EVERYTHING comes up "stock information unavailable". A dozen registers, two open with 10 or more customers in each line, while other employees stand around and laugh and chat. Of course, Walmart doesn't care because Americans are more interested in price (albeit for low quality items), than service. About the only thing I can say good is that it is fun to see the "walmart people" walking around. If there was a less than one rating, this store would deserve it.
