CVS Pharmacy - Are you ready ? - Drugstores Near Me - TUCSON, Arizona

This is my go to drugstore and pharmacy. It's clean inside and well-stocked. My only criticism has to do with outside. I have walked by the same trash for over a year on the east side of the store. No one sweeps and obviously a pressure hose is unfamiliar to them. One of their regular employees parks there (Brian?) but must not notice or has no influence to fix this with the manager. read more

Tucson, Arizona, the CVS pharmacy on 6895 Sunrise Rd. is without a doubt the most dysfunctional worst pharmacy I have ever encountered in my 78 years of living. I appreciate the convenience of the drive thru. Also, some of the pharmacists r professional n helpful. Today was an eye opening experience. I asked to clarify 3x w a pharmacist after going into the store. Finally, the pharmacist was brought over. I have tried two other scripts for a new condition. Each time, I had purchased their recommended three month supply. However, I wanted to clarify w the pharmacist to make sure if just one month supply would give me an accurate reading of its effect w/o subscribing to three months n it's wasteful outcome of expenditure etc. . I'm tired of purchasing meds that I cannot tolerate, n they sit unused in my cabinet. The pharmacist agreed, but said three months was almost more economical than just one month. I agreed, but then he checked. Three months was actually much more expensive than going w one month reordered every month! Now, I wonder about the honesty n integrity of CVS.. ????? I did appreciate the pharmacist's help n expression when he saw this revelation ..... BE AWARE N CHECK. We work hard for our money! read more

The worst customer service in a pharmacy I've seen. If you have a prescription you need to take daily .. good luck getting it. They have no care if you're without the medication. You get it when you get it is the attitude I've gotten there. I've never had a pharmacist so nonchalant about patients missing doses of meds they take daily. The minute clinic has the poorest customer service. We had an appt for my son to receive his flu shot. Upon checking in, the nurse told me that they were running behind and now going to lunch, and would be back in 30 min. So we arrived 5 min before our appt and they expected us to wait another 30 more minutes for them to go to lunch. Unacceptable customer service! Then she told me to check with the Pharmacy, followed by the comment that they're probably not taking walk-ins.. hence the reason I made an appt with the minute clinic. We just got back from using the Minute Clinic. They asked us to be there at 10:15 am for a 10:30 appointment, which we did. They didn't see us until 11:00. They need to improve their patient scheduling, or manage their time better when seeing patients. A disappointing first visit for us. read more

When you use thier pharmacy. They put you on auto refill. Even when you tell them not to. Then you can't stop it! They said I need to call their 800# to get them to stop! They can request auto refills. But they can not not request the STOP! Really?! They put meds on auto refill now my insurance won't covers meds because they say CVS put it through insurance. But I never picked em up! Cvs is. Costing me so many problems and costing me $$$$$$!! read more

Do not use this pharmacy. Do not go to the store, and most definitely, do not go to the minute clinic. I've been billed at the minute clinic for visits that never took place. We didn't even have an appointment. Thus far, after an entire month, this is still on resolved. Unfortunately, that's not the worst of it. Please save yourself the aggravation of actually going in the store. We've had multiple issues with prescriptions, and I did the extra care pass. It's five bucks a month and you get $10 credit toward purchases. But, if you try to cancel this, be aware it is a lengthy and frustrating process. In the end, I was very clear that I needed to cancel the subscription. After 10 minutes of reviewing every benefit, I was begging and begging her to just cancel the membership. I was in tears when I got off the call. It's not worth it. Some of the staff is very kind. Most of them are quite cranky. The prices are outrageous, even giving the ridiculous inflation. This place is so poorly run. It's walking distance from my home, but I avoid it at all costs. If you want your prescriptions on time, do not use this pharmacy. If you want to have auto refills on every medication you've ever taken, you will be in great shape. But wait, there are other things you get once like antibiotics or a single use medication your doctor prescribes However, if you try to cancel auto refills, or there's a mistake, You're out of luck. Again, does Pharmacy has cost me tremendous amount of time and money. read more

The employees are very well-trained and always greet customers and ask if they need help locating anything. This is a very friendly CVS---not at all like a huge anonymous conglomerate. The truth is that almost all of the big pharmacy chains are essentially alike and the big distinguishing factor is the attitude and proficiency of the staff. I suspect management at this CVS has instilled a sense of pride and professionalism in the employees and it makes a huge difference. The pharmacists are accessible, knowledgeable, and helpful. I like this pharmacy so much that when my previous insurance provider eliminated CVS as a preferred pharmacy, I changed providers instead so I could continue doing business at this CVS! read more

This CVS is conveniently located and pretty clean. There are times I'll have to go to another CVS since this one won't carry an item or has limited stock. The staff is helpful, but sometimes they go missing at the register and I have to hunt them down. Prices, even for a drug store, are usually on the high side read more

I mainly use the pharmacy and it is has been wonderful! The staff is always so knowledgeable and helpful. My prescriptions are always filled on time and ready when I need them. The auto-refill feature has been great to me since I have insurance and would normally forget to call in refills. The staff is always willing to go out of their way to be accommodating. read more
