I have always been treated with care and respect however, I have seen many times repulsive behavior on the part of the shoppers and pharmacy clientele. I occasionally have to wait in line for my turn because of modern day staffing shortages, but I don't see how anyone would want to work here given how the employees are treated by the customers. Thank you random employees who want a paycheck for putting up with such awful people day and day out. So much for southern hospitality I suppose :(

Warning: watch out for pharm tech in training ISAIAH MCLEMORE…read more I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars due to the store's manager who took my call, understood how dangerous this situation was and assured me that Pham tech in training Isaiah McLemore, Texas pharmacy board registration number 329941 would not be able to potentially harm any other customers. I believe he might have been the downfall of this Walgreens pharmacy if the pharmacy manager had not addressed his dangerous, passive-aggressive behavior. He pretends to be very kind, but all the while appears to have an underlying issue with control. When the pharmacist isn't paying attention, he pretends he has control over the entire pharmacy. On two occasions now, after the pharmacist has authorized the prescription from the doctor's office and said it can be filled, he has on the first occasion refused it and on the second occasion stated it would only get a partial fill and he would add refills to it, as if his temporary pharm tech in training license would allow him to make these decisions without the permission of a licensed pharmacist. I was able to get him to fill insulin the first time after he refused it and several minutes of begging and pleading, going over the details of my conversation with the pharmacist I had earlier that day multiple times with him, and explaining what happens to a type 1 diabetic without it. He cleverly threatened to text the pharmacist to see if I was telling the truth, which I encouraged him to do. He didn't text the pharmacist and I realized later that the pharmacist had just stepped out of the pharmacy for a little while, but did return. He finally looked up the cost and agreed I must have spoken with the pharmacist earlier to know the exact cost with the online coupon was, implying that he thought I was lying. He was determined not to allow me to have insulin, which all type 1 diabetics know is necessary for survival. He then told me that he guessed he would just " throw it in a bag for me" and he gave me the impression that he alone was in charge and was now going to fill the prescription. As I was standing there for a considerable amount of time, the only customer this entire time, the pharmacist returned. At this point he changed his entire encounter with me, attempting to avoid me. I continued to wait until the pharmacist got the insulin ready and put it in the refrigerator for pick up. Before I could say anything, he quickly took it out of the refrigerator and told the pharmacist the customer was here waiting for it. The pharmacist told him he had wished he knew I was standing there waiting for this, as he wouldn't have had me waiting so long. He smirked at me while checking out the insulin as if he fixed me by not telling the pharmacist I was standing there waiting for it.

This was my second visit to this pharmacy and it'll be my last. My first time there, I was kept…read morewaiting 10 minutes while the pharmacist talked to a customer in front of me about dog food. While I wouldn't ordinarily mind a chatty pharmacist, she could clearly see I was waiting and wasn't in the process of doing anything for the gentleman ahead of me except talking to him. I was in incredible pain and didn't want to be standing there forever waiting, but that's what you get with a small town pharmacy. On my second visit earlier this morning, I was told they don't honor discounts like GoodRX. My medication was already filled and, again, I was in agony so I wasn't about to have her send it to another pharmacy to be filled, knowing it'd take hours to get it done. The cashier was so rude to me, too insensitive and snotty about telling me no on the discount. I don't know or care why they don't do it - I care about how quick she was to ask for it was cash or credit as if I was disturbing her from other work. That same pharmacist was standing right there, just as indifferent to me as the woman in her employment. I will make the trek to Walgreens next time, even if they're not as convenient as Jarrell, and possibly more expensive because at least I know they treat their customers poorly but they're a big corporation. That lack of consideration from a small town pharmacy is wholly unacceptable. I'll be recommending to others to skip this place as well, letting them know they will be treated like an inconvenience.
