Chronically out of stock. Understaffed. Overworked, underpaid, and increasingly corrupt and incompetent beings who are directed to quiz doctors and patients, question medications, and drag their feet as they monitor patients to flag and then disregard complaints filed with both the California Board of Pharmacy and the CVS "headquarters". They'll leave you over five days without your daily medication and refuse to order medication in anticipation of their patients' repeated identical orders and say it's not their problem. Customer service is dead. I'm always amazed when my medication is in and never informed of the current status without holding over 20 minutes. The computer system is not based in real time and often incorrect. There's a national problem in that industry and this place is worse than any options I've tried. read more

Friendly pharmacist, , no wait,, told to come back for 2nd shot in 30 days- "Don't be more than 1 week early or 1 week after 30 days." 5 STARS 8/27/2021 WALK IN for 2nd shot. I'm back to leave another review because my original review disappeared. Hmmm..how does that happen CVS. I'm pleased to say I'm getting great service at Rite Aide. Their pharmacists and cashiers are miles ahead of CVS as far as how they treat customers. CVS frequently were out of medications. I had a terrible bout of pneumonia and was prescribed an antibiotic. They held my prescription saying they have to order the medication and it takes a week. Are you kidding me..they wanted me to wait a week when I can barely breathe. The real clincher was they would not let me transfer the prescription to another CVS close by that had the prescription in stock ...or another pharmacy. Holding my prescription hostage. The employees at Winchester and Margarita are so rude. They need to clean house if they want to survive. DO NOT GO HERE, GO TO RITE AIDE. read more

First let me say this is the cleanest, most organized and professionally staffed cvs I have been to. I love coming here Every day. Today, I was so pleasantly surprised that a staff member remembered my last visit. Her name is Abbey, and she reminded me that I forgot my receipt which had my cvs bucks. It was a minimal amount, but the fact that she saved my receipt until my next visit is without question Phenomenal. I have been coming here for years. And I will be coming for many more, because of Her. I dont know if she is a manager, but she should be...if not the CEO!!! Its people like this that make this cvs my favorite! Nice store, and our clerk was a nice Latina lady who checked us out. ( only way for me to explain, I should've checked names).But When we were getting checked out 2 very privileged men walked into the store. She kindly asked if the men could put masks on- the younger one did grab the masks, the big one didn't. They continued to walk around the store like nothing. Then, the another Lady who worked there with the bangs and glasses welcomed them into her check line like nothing- obviously not an incident-because she remembered to tell me to turn in my bathroom key when I was on my way to do so already. It was sad to see 2 people in that store have no respect for the safety of others around them and also to her own co worker. read more

People up in the front are nice. People back in the pharmacy are straight assholes, I went there to get a covid test and they closed an hour from the time I showed up. Straight up told me "well dude it's too late" I looked at her and asked if they closed a hour from then and she said "yeah but we have to clean and all that so we can't take patients now" it was a whole bunch of bullshit because when I came a lady had been called into the other room so they were taking patients she just didn't want to take me so she can sit around and not help me. No problem with the store, but I won't be going back because of one employee there. Not sure her name, but she had on a green wig the last time I saw her. She is BEYOND rude. I don't even know how someone like her can be employed. The first time she was rude, I assumed she was just having a bad day and I gave grace. Second time I dealt with her she was short and rude with me and another customer. Yesterday she let out a loud sigh of annoyance because she said "next" at her register and the customer in line didn't hear her right away. All good. This CVS seems to be a little bit smaller than other store locations, that might just be my interpretation though. But it seemed like they had less items here. Anyway, it was nice and clean and everything was in its designated areas in the store. Staff was very friendly and helpful to me during my visit. On the CVS website, they advertise the 22 oz bottle of Simple Green cleaner at $5.49. That this price is only valid in the store, and you cannot order it online. I drove to my local CVS at this location because it said there were several in stock. When I got there, they were selling it at a 27.4% markup. I spoke with the manager to let them know the discrepancy. She told me they are "not allowed to match their own website" that "the price in the store can vary by location". I explained that the website said $5.49 was the price "in store" and it's not available online. She would only reply that "we are not allowed to match online prices". I realize in the grand scheme, that $1.50 is not a lot of money. However, when I research a price, get in the car, drive 15 min there, 10 min in the store, 15 min back home, I don't appreciate getting suckered with "bait & switch" pricing while wasting more than 40 minutes of my day. I will of course NOT be returning to CVS for anything and I recommend the same for any other consumers. read more

Very upset with the treatment my 89 year old father received when we arrived for his covid vaccine. He was denied the vaccine due to their system not matching his name to his insurance card. How is this possible when his meds are filled by cvs monthly! They had me call Medicare while I was there and were given the name to use and they still could not match. After we left they call me to try another option...really? They waited until I left to consider another option? A lost day of work, and now I need to make another appointment and wait for availability. Incompetents!!! Customer service from the pharmacy answering their phone is horrible. Yes, you do get through but get put on hold for 11 mins. Once someone finally talks to you... They can't hear you, then hang up! I called again and was placed on another 15 minute hold. Cmon.... How frustrating! At this point I am so irritated I decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

I love going to this specific CVS my favorite, I come here a few times a weeks and the cashiers have amazing customer service, always smiling and in a happy mood. I don't think I have ever come in here before when I don't get a great experience out of it.......until yesterday I was in the store and everyone was nice as always but as Im shopping I hear this sarcastic, rude guy (not sure if he was talking like this to a customer or a co-worker but he was pretty loud about being his way as if he owns the store). I did not get his name however I had not seen him before and I've been coming here for a few months now. He was kind of a short guy with a wrap on his wrist. I don't understand how they could hire someone like that, with all the kind people Ive seen in this store, I hope this doesn't ruin this location for me cause I like coming in and never having to deal with careless people like in other locations. I give this location a five star rating because I don't believe one person should ruin it for the entire store specially if they are always so helpful. read more

Not only do they never answer the phone when they don't feel like it, they do not fill prescriptions according to the dr's instructions and feel no need to alert the customer OR doctor of this fact, half of their staff are unknowledgeable and disrespectful. When a customer tells you that they do not have time to wait 10-15 min for another prescription so they will take the one ready one, it is NOT their job to walk away for 3 minutes, come back and say just another 5 minutes, walk away again to talk about it when I express I did NOT have any time to waste repeatedly until I had to walk out of the store with nothing at all. These are all regular occurrences. Unfortunately they are on my way to work. Maybe this will prompt their managers to review some very basic guidelines with them... As I sit here on hold with them after 16 minutes with no one even having picked up the phone. How pathetic. read more
