This is the worst pharmacy ever. My mom was trying to fill a prescription for 2 weeks. They can't find prescription, someone puts it on hold, the next day I get text that it's ready for pick up I come to the pharmacy stand in line with sick people and they tell me they don't have anything. So I wait in the other line the guy tells that the medication went back. This is NOT OK. maybe it's time for the corporate to do something. People are changing every other day. No proper training or simply lack of common sense read more

Most helpful CVS I've been to! Props to new employee, Astrid for her excellent customer service.

Even the nail files are locked up! I had to search for a while to find someone to unlock them. Many items are missing from the shelves, based on lots of empty spaces. Normally I wouldn't include a parking lot in my review but this one is in need of serious repair. Generally the area just looks run down (even though the overall neighborhood isn't bad). I won't go back. read more

CVS pharmacy has a banner at the counter that states free flu shots here ! So went in this morning a little before 9 am to get my prescriptions filled from my ER visit yesterday. They were already slammed! Navdeep was very nice. She said it was an hour wait but would rush through my one prescription ASAP since I needed to start taking it. She actually had all three ready in 30 minutes not bad. It gave me time to shop around and use my cvs bucks. Yes it's crazy busy at this location but in the future I will go even earlier. Thanks Navdeep for getting all three done for me. read more

No idea how this place is still in business with the reviews they get. I have already had many horrible experiences at this location and my doctor accidentally sent a prescription here recently, so I was unfortunately forced to go again after swearing it off. The lines are always so long, the staff at the pharmacy are extremely unhelpful. There is barely anyone that actually works in the store, so God forbid you need help finding some thing. Truly, I have no idea how this place is open still. There are so few positive reviews. I have no idea how they are still operational. read more

10 People in line buying one item. Whatever happened to self checkout. Why are CVS stores so inconsistent. Get with it CVS. Times have changed. Please grow up. Very unprofessional! Besides from not answering calls during the day, i was scheduled to get my covid shot and flu shot yesterday at 10pm, and when i got there, pharmacy was closed. Very unprofessional and inconvenient! They didn't even bother to call people with appointments that they are going to be close, didn't even update their website and still gave people appointments. What a waste of time and gas having to drive to that location. I needed my flu and covid booster shot for school purposes and i almost missed the deadline for getting a new appointment date. Shady!!! I got a prescribed "Flonase" for my daughter from her doctor. When I called to see if it was filled, they refused to fill it and told me to buy it over the counter! The nerve of these people, to TELL me what to do. Medications are so expensive these days, and my insurance covered it at Providence Pharmacy across the street!!! I will never, ever use CVS. Can't wait to share this story with all of my students, each semester, at every campus. Beware and don't use CVS, they don't have our best interest in mind... shameful read more

Sorry, but if these people are heroes, then all those that do the standard minimum to be COVID-19 compliant are so as well? That doesn't earn them stars, otherwise the gas clerk is also a hero. Filled with chains of stars running down some work shit (bling bling). And I'm not saying they are not risking their lives. Just as they do, I risk my life to go into a pharmacy were I have to constantly remind people to stand 6-feet apart when waiting in line for medication... or telling some big guy behind me to put on a mask unless his name is Typhoid Mary. So if they don't police the shit they set as a standard? Hell no they don't get stars! It's like saying "hey mrpolice, there is a robbery across the street",and the cop doing a double take and saying... eh.... I'll take care of it in 20 minutes. Wtf?!? Lastly, they are rude, they irresponsible (got a tab of xanax with my heart medication ;l and very unprofessional since the last time they called me for a prescription pick up, the mister who was talking to me started talking shit about me and my family not realizing he didn't put me on hold. How do you like them apples. I believe this all roots out because, unlike the curly haired lady at the front who is a fabulous problem solver and shining bright light of happiness, these pharmacists don't care to do anything other than processing pill, signing charts, and taking a paycheck. NO PROBLEM SOLVING skills in any way. Also, If you listen close enough, you will hear some of the craziest shit been said about costumers being not present. So again, doing your job doesn't grant you special service, unless you are doing it for free which... go on! And don't call yourselfs a medical care hero, if you don't do anything more than what anyone else does... read more

This is specifically for an employee named FAHAD. First of all I've been coming here for over 10 years and have created genuine connections with previous employees. FAHAD FAILS to deliver proper customer service. When asked for help directly by one of his coworkers he ignored her and kept doing his tasks; another employee then said "we need help at checkout" and he still took his sweet time. His coworker assessed the situation and had taken over graciously, then a few minutes later he heads over to the register where customers were already being GENEROUSLY helped (I'll get her name next time I come in) . His lack of urgency was where it started, then I come to checkout after waiting quite some time and he tells me to go checkout at the front even though I'm already paying for my prescriptions. I'm sorry but that's the FIRST time in over 10 years that a CVS employee tells me that. I then asked the front desk cashier if that's a new rule just for my knowledge, and she lets me know that I can DEFINITELY pay for my products at the pharmacy especially if I'm already paying for my medicine. Overall rude, I couldn't even hear him talking to me when he would ask me questions . I normally don't get this pissed but it really threw me off. Especially since I love this CVS and have grown up here and have had good connections with previous staff members. Sooooo yea screw that guy. Why 2/5? Recently the homeless situation in front and around the store has become problematic. I've seen several fights in the parking lot, 2x's observed guys shooting up, and very aggressive panhandling. It's not safe, especially at night. The pharmacy gets a bad rap. They seem to have an unusually high volume of scripts being down the street from Tarzana Hospital but they power through. Veronica and Tina go the extra mile to get my scripts through insurance and filled quickly. Dealing with doctors offices and insurance companies is a nightmare, try it sometime and you'll appreciate the pharmacy staff. Super friendly staff in the front store retail store. This store employs one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I have shopped here for years and every time I've have encountered the male employee with the longer black hair, I have been treated with unacceptable rudeness. It is astonishing that this person has not been terminated. I will no longer be a customer to this branch. With so many people out of work, it makes no sense to me that this person has not been terminated. Everyone else at this location has been extremely nice and helpful. I have never left a bad review on Yelp before this. The last time this employee treated me with unbelievable rudeness and condescending attitude, I filled out the survey leaving my concerns. CVS emailed me and we're extremely nice and apologetic. Then several months after this I went to this location again and was treated in the same rude fashion by this same employee. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO AWFUL~THEY CHARGED FOR BAGS WHEN THE GOVERNOR STATED NO CHARGE FOR BAGS FOR 60 DAYS! THE EMPLOYEES ARE JUST RUDE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS- THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST CVS LOCATION I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS STORE EVER! SEE BELOW! Citing concerns about the spread of coronavirus, Gov. Gavin Newsom has issued an executive order suspending a state law for 60 days that bans grocery stores, convenience stores and other retailers in California from providing customers with single-use plastic bags and which requires stores to charge at least 10 cents per bag. Simple, right? So when you go to the store for the next two months, you'll get a plastic or paper bag for your groceries, just like in years past, and it will be free. read more

Pharmacy so understaffed they rush around making mistakes, ignoring phone calls on hold for 45 minutes at a time, no time to answer questions. Pharmacist on duty last Sunday gave over 100 shots. Counsel provided for new medications is brief and doesn't include checking for interactions with drugs patient is already taking as dispensed by CVS. Serious complications have resulted from numerous documented interactions that could and should have been avoided. CVS clearly liable for causing rare and dangerous Seratonin Syndrome by their negligence. Patient has suffered for three months while CVS continued to dispense and refill dangerous medication interactions without informing patient of risk. They were completely unaware of any interaction(s) because they never checked, they failed to do their jobs, and never provided counsel to patient when dispensing new medication. CVS #9670 "Dream Team" is not to be trusted with your medications until they are properly staffed, trained and able to manage the demands of a 24-hour pharmacy without failing in their duty to protect the consumer from harm. Corporate has been informed numerous times that there is a staffing shortage at this location. They have ignored consumer complaints as well as internal requests for more workers. Right now they are concentrating on dumping convenience store products and other things people have come to count on them for, in order to make CVS. less like 7-11 and more like a respectable pharmacy a patient could actually trust. All they will succeed in doing is alienating their current customer base by letting them down when it comes to anything more than a simple prescription. Need milk? Too bad, we don't carry what you need anymore. It's bad for our image. We're a health shop, not a neighborhood resource for late-night necessities. I thought CVS stood for Consumer Value Store, not pharmacy-on-demand with the exclusion of other merchandise as a marketing ploy. Your customers don't appreciate the changes that benefit you and leave them under-serviced and ignored. Sometimes you need a pharmacy, not a health care only shop. Think about that the next time you need help--where should you turn? Who will even listen when profits are more important than people? Shame on you, CVS. You've betrayed your roots for a profit-is-primary attitude. Very disappointed. I'm finished shopping with you, and relying on you for important stuff like prescriptions. You can keep your promotions and emails to yourselves; I don't need 'em and I don't want 'em stuffing my emailbox every day with more dubious ideas about profit before people. Find a better gig, man. This one's not worth the betrayal of a million or so clueless consumers who count on you for value and honest understanding. read more

The parking lot is not safe. Lots of stealing and robbery going on. Even inside the store I've seen people stealing in there. The last straw was a couple months back. When I came here to grab a few things. I encountered a mob of people upset at me that I wasn't wearing a face mask when it was something unhealthy for me to do. Then the ignorant employee came to me at kicked me out of the store based on ignorance and no scientific or medical knowledge. Glad to know CVS allows this kind of behavior in their stores and in America. This is basically prejudice, ignorance and racism. This is not science! read more

I might actually have to pull out a dictionary right now just to find the words to describe how dissapointed I am with this particular CVS. The two times that I've have been here, I had to wait more than 15 minutes just for somebody to come unlock the restroom. I left both times because I was literally about to urinate in public because the staff wouldn't unlock the restroom door for me. They always say somebody is on their way but they take so long that I just end up leaving. When this happened to me the first time, I was cool about it. I understand that at times businesses can be under staffed and it may get busy. I'm not an unreasonable or impatient person.
