Overall, I am not fond of the layout of CVS stores. For Mr scripts they offer a better price, which is why I go to them. I don't think their sales items are that great & overall customer service is hard to find. Personal preferences, I think is all it boils down to. I have trouble finding things, get frustrated & feel the overall prices are higher, so I leave empty handed. Just my opinion. What's a girl to do? When in doubt, go where you feel familiar & your $$ goes further.

CVS is one of my closest neighborhood pharmacies, and I like the fact that the store is open 24 hours a day (even though the pharmacist is only on duty until about Midnight), and that they have a really convenient drive-through window for drop-off / pick-up prescriptions. The store is clean, well-organized, and it's easy to pop in and pick up health & beauty items, greeting cards, gallon of milk......whatever. The pharmacists and clerks are all very friendly, and I've always been happy with the customer service that I receive. I've been known to drop in late at night when I'm in the middle of packing a suitcase at home, and suddenly realize that I need a travel-size toothpaste. Thankfully they also have pints of Ben & Jerry's ice cream nearby, so it's easy to find both critical things in one easy trip. You'll find this CVS on N. Dale Mabry at the intersection of Hudson Lane in Carrollwood.

Been using this pharmacy for years till this week. Tried calling to let them know I never requested…read morethey mail my meds (in Florida 100 degree heat, no less) and was met with no apologies and a very rude, frustrated employee. They did offer to re-do my meds on a rush order but I would be charged till I brought in the meds that they mistakenly mailed, which, UPS failed to deliver to me. So, I was required to go to a UPS store, pick up the heat damaged meds, and return them to this pharmacy. I'm the customer, right? They should've just contacted UPS and dealt with them and left me out of it. I was going to pick them up, just to be nice, till I contacted the owner, Dan. I asked that he please make sure the employee that was so mad that I contacted her about the shipping error, not tamper with my meds. He was so offended, he pretty much hung up on me. Lol

Had a severe throat issue from the emergency room that needed fast relief . They do not let you…read moreget the medicine unless you prepay first . After I prepay they told me that I needed 1 hour after I pay to be able to purchase this . So this pharmacy is more worried about profit than an emergency room patient . So after I paid (IN AGONY) they still made me sit in a parking lot 1 HOUR so that I could get some relief . Not a very compassion driven business . They could have made an acception for emergency room patients but they don't. They seemed very stoned faced without any compassion or concern for a patient in pain . Not very friendly employees either . what So ever . I was in SEVERE pain and had to fill out papers and wait 1 hour .

Huge parking lot out front, since it shares a strip mall with other stores. The store is clean, and pretty well stocked. Cashiers and Management are always friendly, and greet you if you are walking through the store. They've recently added self-checkout, so that is very convenient when you have only a few items to purchase. Just a heads up, their BOGO deals are popular, so if you go near the end of their BOGO special, you probably won't find what you're looking for. Today, for me, it was the coffee I wanted that they were out of. Pharmacy - 5 out of 5. They are efficient and quick. I've even could make appointments online to get vaccines through them, which was super convenient. Prescriptions are ready in a timely manner, especially now that I refill them online. Deli - 5 out of 5. Plenty of people making sandwiches at lunchtime, so the line moves quickly. Flower Shop - 4 out of 5. Nice, fresh assortment. Bakery - 5 out of 5. Love how they do so many seasonal items. Sushi - 2 out of 5. This is the only department in the store that needs a re-vamp. Publix makes a big deal out of $5 sushi Wednesday. Today the only "sushi" rolls available were made with fake krab meat. All of them. Pass. Other days, the actual amount of fish in a roll is miniscule - maybe one to two ounces at best. I've compared it to the amount that Whole Foods puts in their rolls, and honestly, Publix should be embarrassed. I get the impression there is no oversight on the sushi section at all, so they get away with putting in as little as possible. Publix - change this! All in all, a great store, and I will continue to be a happy, regular customer.
