2nd time I go and get horrible customer service at the pharmacy, today I got an Armenian lady in her mid 20s, just mentioning since I didn't get a chance to see her name tag (if she even had one on) she was very rude and absolutely not helpful at all. I asked her a question, she asked someone in the back and he answered her but she did not rely that answer back to me and just assumed I heard, and walked away. People who go to the pharmacy are mainly because their sick , hurt and need advice from the pharmacy staff. Employees who take on this job should be more caring and helpful and realize we as customers shouldn't have to pay for you not enjoying the job you decided to take on. CVS should re train these people and have them take on some serious customer service classes. I had my daughter that was hurt and pretty much had to find what I was looking for on my own while she's in pain waiting. I asked because I had already looked for the item and could not find it. But even so, you should not work in a pharmacy if helping others in not in your best interest. Get a job behind a computer. I will be reaching corporate, again this is the 2nd time. Not acceptable! What a rude experience with pharmacy staff that really have a holier-than-thou attitude. Honestly, I won't return. It was my first time filling an rx with them as per my insurance company so it wasn't my decision to use a CVS... and after 3 attempts to get them on the phone, and then 3 different staff members who needed to hear me repeat the same information and give my story for the "umpteenth" time, it was clear that I was taking up their precious time and they would rather I not have entered the store. Fine. No worries. I'll go back to Ralphs since they're much nicer anyhow. Learn some good customer service skills people!, a little goes a long way. Stop being so rude. ugh read more

With staff since it opened today I was there To pick up one thing at 8 am I went to the first register since it was the closest because of bad feet and hips i was told I had to go to number three even thought there was an employee standing at the one I was at when I said Oh cool times why can't we do it here I got HUFFED at and Eyes rolled at me At that point I said I will wait for the young woman who said she would not help me even when she was done with the customer she had right now when I proceeded to tell this young man that huffing was completely inappropriate and rude and unprofessional and told him as well it was not helpful they said oh you can go to another store I said no I'm getting healed here at that point the young women called Me A KAREN I said to her calling me racial slurs it's completely unprofessional by the way I accidentally I hit record on my phone and told him I had recorded the entire conversation interaction So I guess now CVS support their employees recently attacking verbally customers wow how bad is that read more

I'm stuck with a $65.00 bottle of perfume that I bought from them for Valentine's Day but my wife didn't like it and I didn't save the receipt after paying cash. Today I waited on the phone for two hours to speak to a pharmacist. When I finally got through, by punching a myriad of numbers, I don't even know how, the pharmacist challenged my "holding for two hours" statement. Problem was, I got disconnected several times, and switched phones. Altogether, it took me two hours to get through. I don't think I need to say anymore. read more

I wasn't happy at Rite Aid, so I switched to this CVS. The hold time on the phone is a minimum of 20 minutes - ALWAYS! They hire rude incompetents. I paid for delivery which CVS arranges, and my prescription is still sitting there hours past the time it was to be delivered. (I am 70 and don't drive anymore.) When I called (3 times), they told me it was out of their hands and would not refund the delivery fee because they use a third-party shipper. It's a 55-minute hold time to get through to the shipper in another state. I've had constant problems with my prescriptions, and today was so bad that I decided I'm going back to Rite Aid, who incidentally, isn't much better, but they consistently answer the phone in under 5 minutes. Bye bye CVS - you are the ABSOLUTE WORST of the walk-in pharmacies, and I have the years of experience to substantiate it! read more

Probably one of the Worst CVS Pharmacy's in Los Angeles. The area outside before entering always has trash on the sidewalk and in the parking lot! The pharmacy itself has the rudest pharmacists EVER. This is my CVS. About a block from my house, so I'm here about once a week. Convenient location, ample parking and helpful staff...but the reason for two stars is the terrible inventory. Every SINGLE time I go, they're out of basic necessities. Not just for a couple days, but weeks on end!!! Basic name brands for floss, toilet paper, vitamins. Pharmacy Techs have been friendly and really want to help when I'm there. What is challenging is being closed at weird times and not looking into prescriptions to ensure billing etc., is all in order. They don't seem to want to go the "extra mile" to make it easier for me to just pick up. I've been using CVS for a long time and I come to this one because it's drive-thru, but it's becoming more of a hassle than it's worth. You'd think with so many poor reviews they'd try harder. This is a brand new store in our area, and I was happy to see it open. I went in because I needed to buy caffeine pills. I had a project deadline to meet in the morning, and had to work all night. I couldn't find the caffeine pills, at first. So I asked a clerk. It was obvious that he was in no mood to help. So he very briefly pretended to look for it, and then he quickly said: "I'm sorry, we don't sell those....." I asked him if they don't sell it because they are a new store, and still waiting for more stock to come, or is this the case with all CVS Stores? He quickly replied: "All CVS Stores! Our manager told us that we don't carry that anymore...." and he walked away! About 10 seconds later, I found the pills myself, clearly placed on the lower shelves of the isle. I picked up a pack and walked over to that clerk; I showed him the caffeine pills in my hand and told him that not only the store does carry caffeine pills, but it also offers a variety in brands and sizes. I told him: "If you don't feel like helping, you don't have to make it worse by lying too. What makes you think it's ok to BS your customers?" He didn't even apologize or anything. He just kept starring at me! I am sure this was just the "bad apple". I have had much better customer service from CVS before. What, are you guys letting the stock diminish so much that your praying taking your inventory will go by faster?? I shopped tonight for a few of my staple items and whoa, wth?? I searched through three different brands of deodorant to find anything unscented before settling on Toms. If I wanted earthy, I'd high step it over to Whole Foods! No Q-Tips brand q-tips!! I am not that picky on brand name household items but I stand my ground on not buying generic Q-Tips. Ended up with the smallest, most expensive wooden cvs brand 'swabs'. Now to the razors. My husband is all-in for quad blades for SENSITIVE skin. I have bought him the super fancy ones in the past and he likes the disposable quad blades for SENSITIVE skin and yet none are to be found. So weird. I almost never post for chain locations but since I gave a decent review before, I would be remiss if I didn't update based on tonight's experience. read more

This is by far, the WORST Pharmacy I have ever been to. On four separate occasions I have had issues getting prescriptions filled. I once went back three times to speak with the pharmacist who was always "busy." It was a controlled substance; one person said it was illegal to fill, another said she could do it if she called my doctor. No one knows what's going on. The pharmacist in Studio City was so helpful and she explained to me exactly what the law was, and apologized for my inconvenience. This location, nada. TODAY, I had another odyssey. An olive-skinned gentleman behind the pharmacy told me "I had no health insurance," which is news to me since I'm paying upwards of $450 a month for COBRA. The insurance is through... CVS CAREMARK. He asked for my prescription card which I didn't have on me, but it shouldn't have mattered because it was the same insurance policy. He refused to call the company on my behalf, and said "well just come back when you can find your prescription card." Complete B.S. DO NOT go to this CVS. It is worth driving a little bit further to get better customer service. I WILL be following up with CVS corporate tomorrow. read more

Ugh. I hate writing reviews for gigantic chains. However, this is warranted. Take heed from the reviews below; this is a terrible pharmacy! Having worked in a CVS pharmacy as a clerk, I know how it works. For that matter, I've worked in two different pharmacies in the past...I doubly know! This CVS has got it all wrong. Round 1: "Thank you for calling CVS pharmacy, can you hold please." *beep* Me: "um...hello?" This happened 3 times, each time I waited about 15 minutes for the clerk to pick up. Finally, I called and spoke with the store manager on duty. I kindly asked him to walk to the back and let the clerk know I would not like to hold, and to please pick up the line. He seemed appalled, and said he'd get the pharmacist. 3 minutes later, I hear, "Thank you for calling CVS pharmacy, can you hold please." *beep* FML... Round 2: My husband goes to pick up my prescription. They tell him, "you have to sign this to take it." He signs, and then takes it. Turns out, he was signing the waiver for a pharmacist consult. Real nice. Round 3: I don't know why I took another prescription there. (It's very close by.) My prescription needed a prior authorization from the insurance company. Standard fare. I let my doctor's office know, and they were on the ball. CVS, however, couldn't get it figured out by 2 weeks later. Story's end? I took my prescription to Walgreen's and had it filled within 10 minutes. Just....stay away.... read more

Dear CVS pharmacy, please hire more staff. Every single time I come here I get the same standard response of "Sorry we only have two people and the others are on lunch". It doesn't matter what time. I've tried noon, 2pm, 3pm.... Someone is always on lunch and I get this response as a reason for it taking 1-2 hours to fill a simple tube cream prescription that doesn't require much, other than running it through the system.
