I said never mind, I see you have tylenol on sale and I'll buy 2 bottles and double dose on the non-prescription. Only then did they say they made a mistake by not having me pay only a co-pay. Extremely rude pharmacist (JP) and support staff-on several occasions. On one occasion, i called…read morejust to see what time I could pick up my prescription as I wouldn't have been able to get there after work. I simply asked " would I be able to pick up my medication at 9:00 before I went in to work? I will not be able to get there after work today. (My script had been dropped off several days prior). The person on the phone said "well if you get here at 9 and it's not ready then I guess you'll have to wait. You're not the only one who needs their prescription filled." I'm not? Thank you for that enlightening information. Here I thought I was the only one in Schenectady county who needed to get a prescription filled. Her comment was unprovoked and uncalled for. And even if I had been rude to her, she has no right to make any comment. It's their job to fill prescriptions, not to give unnecessary feedback. There a are a few pleasant folks present in that store but from what I've witnessed, they're few and far between. I think these folks would better serve the public by working night shift in a hospital pharmacy where there is limited interaction with human beings.

We occasionally patronize this CVS when the one closer to home is out of some prescription or other…read morethe kids need, and my experiences here have been pretty much identical every time: (1) I get very prompt and courteous service from the pharmacy staff when I go up to the counter to drop off the Rx. (2) They get distracted by the drive-in pharmacy window because they're understaffed and as is the case with every place everywhere with a drive-thru, the drive-thru customers somehow get priority over the ones who have managed to walk in. (3) Nevertheless the staff do their best and I'm pleased, if a bit delayed, by the pharmacy service. I get a chance to count the stains on the carpet in the waiting area, which is always a good time. (4) I am accosted by somebody leaving (or going in; or both) in the parking lot. You can definitely call this a mixed experience. I think my takeaway here is to use the drive-thru service to avoid (2) and (4). You might consider doing the same.

I've had to jump back in my car because they were blocking the door and there is no security in cvs. It is so filthy outside. Customer service is just ok. They seem to be rushing me thru and some meds. need to be counseled. There are specific people that do seem very nice such as Julie, Sarah and Jodie. I go to the Eastern Parkway location so I can't rate the other locations.

Manager in the pharmacy is a tall guy with a trimmed beard. He was extremely rude to me on…read more11/12/2021 (approx 4:30 pm). Both my dr and myself transferred my 3-month vitamin prescription to this CVS from the one I used prior in another state. I had no trouble getting it in August. I received a text saying my prescription was ready, went into to get it and was handed a bag with A syringe. I went back to find out where the vitamin was and the package was grabbed from my hand and shown to this guy (pharmacis?). He says that it was too soon to refill Because I picked it up 500 miles away. I was confused and started to explain and he cuts me off and says loudly and mean, sighing, "it'll be a great effort, but I can call..." I was so shocked I stammered I'd do it and walked out. What? Meanwhile, I have been unable to get through to the CVS in my old state (hang up on me Without answering). Again, this prescription was transferred to Scotia by MY DR. I need this vitamin due to a genetic condition. without I suffer. I've been getting it at CVS for over 10 years. I wasn't rude in anyway. I was seeking information from the pharmacy. I tried calling The store the next day and was told there was nothing that could be done to reprimand this rude behavior (not that I asked) and I'm currently onhold For 20 minutes to leave feedback. I'm done with CVS. I'm a long term customer and feel I can find better service. pharmacies and pharmacists are common enough.
