Got here at 6:04pm, website said 6:30 close for pharmacy. The cashier for pharmacy was talking rudely to this older indian couple, saying "what you want her symptoms to get worse?" "Hey the instructions are on there." Then yells at me while I'm waiting, "you have to come back tomorrow after 11 we're closed!" I asked him what time do you close? He said 6pm. I told him your website says 6:30, he said "show me, well if it does it's a front." I told him I just have a pick up. He said "you have to come back tomorrow. I called the pharmacy today and asked if they stock a certain medication for my cat or if they're able to order it. The person who picked up would not even let me tell him what the actual medication was, and kept saying that he could not tell me anything unless I show up in person to hand over the prescription. I'm a pharmacist and have worked in retail before, including at CVS, and I know this is B.S. You can absolutely call and ask about inventory and if they're able to even order it (I just did this with many other pharmacies in the area). Of course, they won't be able to actually order it unless you give them the prescription but that's another issue. Horrible service here but I guess I can't blame them because CVS/corporate retail pharmacy sucks in general (but again that's another issue too LOL). read more

Had to came here twice in the past 24 hrs to stand at the door while it was the working hours. In fact, I'm writing this review standing here behind the closed doors. There's sign saying that the RX manager's name is Wesley Han and store manager's name is Taylor Perry. I hope this situation will improve in the future as I had to drive twice yesterday and today just to see that the store is closed during the working hour. A CVS employee is also standing here with me waiting for the person with the key to open the store door (it's 8:30 am now - half an hour after the time that store is supposed to be open - and I'm waiting to make my purchase and go to work because apparently this is the only store that has my medication in stock). Please read all the reviews for yourself to find that a majority would agree that Pharmacist by the name of "Wesley" has zero regard for patients health or well being. Does not care whatsoever for patients / customers needs and is reflected in all the reviews. I'm not sure how this place still operates under these conditions. Most ppl go here out of convenience of location but honestly it is not worth it. It is a terrible experience EVERY. TIME. I finally am taking the time to write this review because I've had it with this place. I just came from urgent care and came to pick up the prescriptions that were ready and they tell me that they are closed and won't be opening up until late morning the next day. It's literally 1:59pm and I'm being informed that they close at 2pm when their sign says "will resume from break at 2pm". Such BS! How much effort does it take to reach behind you and hand over the medications that someone really needs? This is why this place has no compassion or intent to serve the community. It could be someone dying in need of medications and they would still say "WE'RE CLOSED" and not give a f*k. This CVS is in the Luckys plaza, parking is easy to find. The pharmacy here sometimes can get busy during rush hour, so expect to wait a bit in line. You can get flu shot here, but I find to be busy even with appointment. I'm not sure if you can drop in for vaccines or not. However the pharmacy is nice and professional. read more

All CVS in general are just awful - hence why so many of the CVS locations are shutting down this year. Everytime I try to reorder my medication (its a sleep medicine thats VERY popular), they never have it in stock and then make me wait weeks to get more. This little game happens monthly, so what I did was transfer the prescription over to Walgreens and whiola! No issues at all, they have my medicine in stock each every time...And there is no "shortage" as CVS says there is. Basically what happens is this, CVS is too cheap to keep medicines on demand, so they just order small amounts when they need them. Stupid business model, I will never return to CVS ever again. CVS pharmacy has disappointed again. They are supposed to process a refill, but they didn't so I had to show up and request it. When I got there they said I had to submit a refill request. I went in on Tuesday 07/19/22 and pharmacy is closed because XX reasons. I went in today 07/20/22 and waited 35 minutes in line to get help, when I arrive to the counter they tell me that my medicine is not ready and to wait 15 to 20 minutes more. They finally call my name to let me know that they don't have my medicine. And I ask reasons for long lines and for keeping patients for so long, and their answer is "sorry we don't have a pharmacist at the moment" is that our fault? And they said that the pharmacist is out to his country on an emergency, sorry to hear but again not our fault. Then Cindy sends me to go to CVS on Blossom Hill which I did. When I arrive over there they tell me they can't help me and that I had to go back to the Capitol pharmacy. REALLY?. I get back and they kept me waiting for another 40 minutes just to get half of a bottle filled because that is all they had. This is insane! I ended up going home without medication. today this was my life safer. i cut through my finger mail and it bled for 5-10min. so not too bad. nevertheless i went to carbon urgent care on cherry, so we do not take your insurance was the answer. it is $250 to check-in and then more for treatment. great. i went to my primary care physician at good samaritan care center on blossom hill. i am with them for 30 + years. showed the desk lady my injury. i asked if they take walk-ins, answer: NO. can you please look up my last Tpap shot. she did it was 2008. i aske when should refresh be done? every 10 years. now i wondered why they never reminded my. anyways, they did not take walk-ins so i ask when is the next appointment available, answer: 1 week. my understanding is that if you do not have an infection in 2 week you are ok but if you do you are in trouble. so i ask if i should go to an urgent care, answer: yes. any recommendation, answer: NO. pretty unhelpful and disappointing. so i went to CVS on west capital because this is also where i get my meds. " are you doing tetanus", "yes but you need to make an online appointment." then i saw a lady, Mandy, in the consultation booth and i described my predicament. she quickly looked up my data and told me to sit down while she would check if they have it in stock. 5 min later she gave me the shot and all was done. thank you so much Mandy for the very quick and non-bureaucratic help. My wife and I are frequent visitors to that department since we seem to need more and more medication to keep our inner parts well oiled and firing on most cylinders. Age has a few advantages, but this isn't one of them. But why must we always wait? I understand the need to minimize errors and explain medication to people. Sufficient time is required to avoid making a mistake. CVS must know this yet there has never - okay, rarely ever - been a time when we have not waited on line...even with just one customer at the counter. Two or 3 people on line? Prepare to wait 15 minutes. I can't remember seeing more than 2 employees up front at the same time. And if somebody drops off a prescription to be filled ( which takes longer than picking up something already done ), the clock slows down and you wait even more. Of all the members of the staff, we'd highlight Mercy, a very congenial woman who seems to greet everyone with neighborhood charm and tries to make the system as customer-friendly as possible. That is not an easy task! Staring at the usual waiting line of disgruntled and impatient people is not much fun, but she seems to make the best of a bad situation. Plus, we should add their under-the gun pharmacists...always flying solo...have somehow managed to deliver our prescriptions by the estimated time it would take. Hats off to them ( if I had one )! CVS is one of the biggest stores of its kind in the country. Understaffing the pharmacy does not help the morale of either customers or employees. We only go to this outlet of the penny-pinching chain because it's convenient to home, other nearby pharmacies seem to have similar troubles and we know people like Mercy will fight against the odds to help us. read more

I wait on hold -- after a while the workers just pick up the phone and then hang up -- guess they get tired of listening to it. Went to get a booster shot for 2 days filling out the form, the pharmacist Armaghan Azad not a kind person first time he said I wasn't qualified he was wrong they said 65 and high risk. Next appointment I didn't realize my Covid card wasn't filled out when I got the second shot. Which I do understand that but he told me I couldn't get a shot anyway because I have to wait 180 days to get the booster I got the second shot March 16 isn't that 180 days ( six months) I tried to tell him that he said I don't wanna argue I just walked out the next day I went to Luckys pharmacy in the same shopping center. pooja Patel said I didn't need an appointment she looked online seen that I got two shots and gave me my booster I was out of there in 20 minutes. Ordered photos online this morning. Expected pickup 1:30pm. Call at 3:30 and they said "call in an hour and check". I decide to go in around 5pm to check. When I get up to the counter to pay for a couple items and check on the status of the pictures, they say that they haven't printed any pictures all day. I'm fine with that. They started them right then. Didn't take more than 10 minutes. What I had a problem with was when they mentioned the total, I mentioned I had a 60% off coupon and the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and scoffed. Like it was the biggest waste of her time. If you had my photos ready at 1:30 like I was quoted, We wouldn't have had to do this. Don't give me attitude because you dropped the ball. Update: I went home to look at the photos and I realized that all of them didn't print. And some were blurry. However when I went back to let them know what happened, the manager came up and reprinted them for me, no problem. He was very nice and for that I am updating my review to 3 stars from my original review of a 1 star. read more

Sharpies, fancy clipboards (no regular ones, unfortunately), tape to the max, rulers... everything I thought I had with me and later realized I forgot. Keep the coupons on the receipts, they are major discounts. Sometimes on items just bought, might want to return then use the coupon. I wouldn't buy most things here off the shelf unless I have a coupon with me. Employees here are nice and check out lines move pretty fast so my family goes here a lot. Store could be a little better stocked as lot of the more popular items run out. read more

CVS is CVS. The problem is the pharmacy, which I assume is why people come here. You can easily get everything else cheaper and with a better selection at Target or Walmart. The pharmacy folks are understaffed, to say the least. You got one gal taking orders as well as consulting patients. Then you just have one or two pharm techs/pharmacists in the back just chillin' and not coming out to help - sure, I know they are not paid to do admin work but sometimes just to help move the line along. When the line is 6 or 7 people deep, it would be good customer service to help expedite these patrons along. The staff is very nice once you get actual facetime. read more
