I'm a doctor. Tried to call an urgent Rx tonight at 7:20 p and I'm still on hold because about once…read morea minute someone pick up the phone when it reaches the top of the queue and puts it back on hold instead of answering it. It's been 20 minutes. Still on hold. They are supposed to be open till 10 pm but someone sure doesn't want to work. Update: I've been on hold with pharmacist for 55 minutes now, every time it rings thru someone picks it up & puts it back on hold after 2-3 rings. Also on hold with manager for past 25 minutes hearing "staff is answering other calls". I doubt it. Seriously thought about calling cops to have them check the store. My 98 year old patient isn't getting her meds tonight. I'll be happy to tell corporate or the Pharmacy Board why. (Average wait time on these calls is 2-3 minutes.) Update 2. Manager's line was answered after 42 minutes. Not the manager didn't identify himself, offered no help or apology , told me I should go ahead and call corporate & when I asked him to walk back and tell pharmacy to pick up the phone, put me back on hold and forwarded the call. Which wasn't answered. Over 70 minutes now on hold with pharmacy line.

Most Walgreens in the Twin Cities close at 10 pm. When I am at a Wild game that starts at 7 pm and…read moredoes not go into overtime, the game ends at 9:30 pm. I still can't get to the closest Walgreens before it closes. I try going before the game. Sometimes, it's nice to go shopping afterwards. It was December 27. I wanted to find a 24-hour Walgreens on my way back to the hotel. I did a search and found this one. Perfect! After the Wild won their game against the Red Wings, I left Xcel Energy Center and drove over to this Walgreens. It was a quiet drive. This drugstore has a parking lot. I backed into a spot and walked in. Since it was post-Christmas, there were sales happening. I saw everything from Christmas plushies, to a lot of holiday candy and chocolates reduced in price. It was nice. I saw the cutest roll of Grogu Christmas wrapping paper. He looked so adorable in a Santa hat. It was also reduced in price. I was here to get nail polish remover. I had thought that I had packed some nail polish remover pads with me. I couldn't find them. Instead, I found a small box of ten nail polish remover pads. They were exactly what I needed. I decided to get a bottle of nail polish. I went with Essie. There was a sale happening. There wasn't a huge lineup while I was here. I got a nice man who was cheerful. I paid for my items with a credit card. I also entered my phone number to get rewards. Done! I thanked him and left with my items. I grabbed some takeout before I returned to my hotel room. The nail polish remover pads worked well. I used them a couple of times. I like that they travel well as opposed to getting a bottle. The Essie polish was also great. The brush bristles stayed intact. I got the quick-drying version and it lived up to its name. I was impressed. I didn't get a top coat. If I did, my nail polish would have looked more pristine. I am rough with my nails. When I travel, the aftermath of my polished nails look unsightly... haha! This Walgreens is a gem. I love the hours. It had everything that I needed. It's a good one to drop by after a Wild game. (13)

I never, ever write reviews about places; in fact, this is the first time I have ever written one…read more But I feel strongly about what I am going to write. I went to this pharmacy for about three months simply because it was the closest pharmacy to my house. I tolerated the issues I had with them for a while, but eventually my patience broke. The pharmacist, Jeff, is easily in of the top five most rude people I have ever encountered. His attitude makes it seem like me getting prescriptions filled at his pharmacy is a hassle for him. On top of that, whenever I ask a question about a medication (I don't have a pharmacy degree like him, obviously), he makes me feel incredibly stupid for not knowing the answer to the question I asked. The day I stopped going there, I went in to get a refill that they said was ready when I called. Whenever I got to the counter, they told me that the doctor needed to verify that I could receive it. I was in the process of asking whether I needed to call my doctor or if he did, and he cut me off and said (in a very irritated and stuck-up tone of voice), "Obviously I'M not going to call 'YOUR doctor for you," and turned his back on me. There were so many other ways he could have said in that situation, but that is how he chose to handle my question. Long story short, if you are looking for a pharmacy and considering this one, I wouldn't recommend going there unless you like being blatantly disrespected every time you go get your medications.

The male pharmacist that works at this place is the absolute nastiest, rudest person I've ever…read moretalked to. with all the horrible reviews that have been given about this exact same person I have no idea why this pharmacy lets him stay there. Is he related to the owner? Is he the actual owner? I cannot imagine any employer would keep a person like this on their staff with how horrible he is to people. Every time I've called there for my 90-year-old father, he is so extremely mean and disrespectful and horrible. He also treated my father horribly today, per usual. I mean, if you're just a horrible person and mean by nature, at your place of employment, you at least have to be neutral and/or civil, you can't just be downright nasty to actual customers. As a result, my father will be moving to a new pharmacy and I will continue to funnel people away from this place because of the horrible pharmacist they have there. This comment is directed, strictly towards the owner: The pharmacist that you have on staff is ruining your business. You are losing customers because of the way he treats people. Minnesota is supposed to be such a nice place, however, no one would ever think that if the only person they ever met from Minnesota was this pharmacist, they would think it's the worst place in the world. If you care about your business and you care about the treatment of your customers, I would suggest you truly reevaluate keeping this person on staff. In fact, for the record, the entire West seventh community talks badly about this pharmacist because anyone that's gone to the pharmacy has very unfortunately had to deal with him so it's common knowledge that he's just awful. I really hope you do something about this at some point. As the owner, I would suggest that you even call there posing as a customer to see how horrible you will be treated by this person. If ever you get rid of him, and that is made known, we will consider coming back, but until then, never.

The WORST PHARMACY. Seriously. 5 years ago they were great, but now they are simply awful. If you…read morecall, expect to be on hold for upwards of 30 minutes. And then sometimes - SURPRISE! - you are just hung up on anyway. Sometimes this will happen twice in a row. If you just go straight to the store you may be in line for an hour or more to pick your prescription up. When I request a refill, frequently it will get cancelled for no reason, and I'm not even notified. When I had finally had enough, I couldn't even get my prescriptions transferred to a non-Walgreens pharmacy because other pharmacies know they would never reach anyone if they called to request them. Their reputation is that bad. So I had to ask my provider to send all new prescriptions to my new pharmacy. I get the impression the employees are generally trying, but being chronically understaffed makes people cut corners and customer service greatly suffers. As for the store itself... there are always people outside soliciting for surveys or something, which is a huge turnoff. When inside, there is a constant broken record on the loudspeaker announcing that someone needs assistance in ____ aisle because so many things are locked up. Sometimes it will repeat for 10 minutes straight because, obviously, the customer is still waiting for help. Which brings me to another point: they have been robbed SO many times. No wonder nobody wants to work there.

Walgreens pharmacy service has continued to go downhill over the past couple years. My prescriptions are not connected to my app and I cannot get them connected to the app. How are they in your system but not connected to my account in your app to make things faster and easier to refill or to fill at all? wouldn't that be a process improvement and keep customers? I feel so bad for your minimal probably overwhelmed staff. I continue to wait longer and longer each time I call in and it doesn't matter if I wait on the phone or if I go stand in line at the pharmacy, it doesn't matter what time of day or day of the week. I am now going to leave this pharmacy and go to another. My family has many prescriptions and now you've lost valuable customers and a lot of money we won't be spending with you.
