While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

Extremely Poor Customer Service…read more My experience with Target manager Rocio at the Amarillo, Texas Target was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, Amarillo only has one Target, so having such a poor experience with management is especially frustrating. Her customer service was horrible, and the way she spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. I was trying to return an item, and instead of making any effort to help me or find a solution, she refused to work with me and showed no concern about my situation. What made the experience even more frustrating was that Target corporate actually called while I was there and requested to speak with Rocio directly. Rocio refused to get on the phone with them and stated that corporate couldn't tell her what to do. I was shocked that a store manager would refuse to speak with corporate when they were specifically requesting to speak with her about the situation. As a manager, I expected much better customer service, professionalism, and willingness to resolve a customer's concern. Unfortunately, Rocio's attitude and treatment of me were completely unacceptable. Since Amarillo only has one Target, customers don't have another Target location in town to choose from. I sincerely hope Target takes this complaint seriously and addresses the way customers are being treated by management at this location.

Think of this Target as a subset of a typical mega Target store. It's smaller in size, but it has everything you truly need. It's geared towards students and residents in the area who can walk over to it, as opposed to a shopper in suburbia hauling way too much stuff into a minivan. There was a ton of Lego merchandise. I assume that Target has a partnership with Lego. It was cool seeing Lego reusable bags and apparel. What stood out for me was the grocery section. It was impressive. There was lots of variety. I particularly loved the selection of sugar-free items. I ended up getting some Lily's chocolates. It also has Zevia in the pop aisle. If you're into PopSockets, they are heavily reduced here. I got one with lemons and it was $3. Ridiculous! You can get apparel here, but it's limited. If you get your wardrobe from Target, you'd be better off going to a larger Target store. Staff are super friendly here. I had a woman cash out my items. There are also self-checkouts, but I like ones with people more. It's a decent store and it much needed for locals in Dinkytown. The place is very clean and today I noticed they have double sided self check out. And I noticed there was young lady cleaning after every customer at the self check out. Mostly students come here. The beiginngj and considered switching back to old pharmacy because of how bad things were but I gave them a second chance and ever since they have gone above and beyond to assist me and accommodate me... they have been amazing at getting my orders available for pickup super fast and have helped me switch up mistakes I made in order pickup or delivery when I wasn't able to have certain times or when it was convenient for me to pickup if I was near the location on a short notice... i do wish they had better parking but it is a busy downtown minneapolis area and they mainly are a delivery pharmacy but also have pickup... anytime I have had a question or an issue outside of their control they were able to figure it out and work with my doctors in lightning speed to get it figured out... they have really helped me navigate areas I was una aware of... ty so much and I am happy things got on a great track... i am usually pretty forgiving and like to give second chances as things can change... the staff is always friendly and helpful... they respond fast and have exceeded my expectations 10 fold since the mess in the beginning... ty again for everything... ty for having awesome delivery deivers also and I appreciate their hard work and dedication as they are not appreciated enough and people will give delivery drivers crazy demands and make it extremely difficult to get things delivered, especially at apartment buildings where people dont give access codes so they can get the order delivered successfully... ty all
