I found SEVERAL expired items & almost bought it. Until I saw it was all expired, I told the staff & asked him I get $2 coupon for finding these per California law after a lawsuit. The manager, a Caucasian man said he's heard of no such things and wouldn't give me the coupon nor just give me the items free. Either I buy it or they toss it, so he tossed it. I placed an order for canvas prints at this location that is 30 plus mins from my house as that was the closest location that could print 8x10 canvas prints. I received an email stating my order was ready for pick up. I arrived an hour later and the gentleman stated that he had tried to make my order multiple times and it kept messing up. My question is why was my order marked "ready for pick up" when it wasn't ready at all? I drove over an hour round trip to not receive my order. I also asked the associate to cancel the order and he said he was not able to but I could wait 15-20 minutes for him to try again. He was well informed and explained what side effects I can expect from the shot and made a couple of suggestions as to what I can take to alleviate the soreness on my arm. Extremely annoying experience at this CVS with a cashier named Mandy or Mindy don't remember. I was given the incorrect change and when I politely pointed it out, she questioned me and insisted on checking the cameras. I was made to wait while they investigated as if I were lying about the amount I handed her. At no point did she apologize for the mistake, and she treated me like an inconvenience. She even argued with me, insisting I gave her $25 (because that's what she put in on the computer) when I knew exactly what I handed her.. I work as a server and handle cash all day, I know my money. With limited options on Christmas Day to purchase needed items the few options available consist of gas stations, CVS and Walgreen's. Since CVS was down the street from the house, it was winner-winner chicken dinner! I was surprised to find the place was stocked. I was there seeking to find some adult beverages and a bag of Original Ruffles. As fate would have it, all the Original Ruffles were sold out, but all the others were available. Just my luck! BUT....the adult beverages were fully stocked. I grabbed a six-pack of Drakes Denogginizer IPA, Voodoo Ranger Higher Plane IPA, some ginger beer and citrus tonic and the big daddy Tito's vodka. Prices were good, the store was clean and for having to work on Christmas Day, the employees were cheerful and spreading Christmas spirit. Definitely will come back to my neighborhood CVS. I needed to exchange a deodorant I purchased the wrong kind by accident I picked up one that I'm allergic too . So I walked in to do a simple exchange no big deal , however both the cashier and a manager made it a huge ordeal . I'm not not why this made this a problem . There was a line so I ended up leaving a $17 after tax deodorant that I had already purchased at the store and buying the one I wanted full price at over $17 again . Great way my to rip ppl off . This is the worst customer service I've seen in quite some time . There was a line of customers and no one there could do an exchange ? I wanted zero money back just the correct deodorant. This CVS is the closest services for thousands of people and they seem to know it. Twice in a week I have tried to use services they offered only for them to not work. So, twice in a week I've had to make extra stops with extra driving in atmospheric rivers to get the things I need. One day the ATM decided to not work and today the lottery machine was completely dead. I can't wait for the Safeway to open across the street so this CVS has an incentive to maintain their services and offer more products for better prices. Props to the hard-working pharmacists and pharm techs at this location. It's not an easy job, and CVS never seems to hire enough people as they are always swamped. Still, every time I go in they are friendly and do all they can to help. I will say I have a problem with the CVS computer system, as it can't seem to save the information from my co-pay discount cards and apply them to my prescriptions from one month to the next. I always have to "step over to the window" and spend about 10 minutes re-entering everything again, but this is not the fault of the staff, but the corporate overlords. The store itself is nice, with a good selection. I was able to find an ankle brace for my daughter when we needed one badly, and the two self-checkouts are useful if there is a line. read more

I am very very upset with the service at this location. This is not the first time by the same individual who has been rude to me once before. I am not sure if he's a manager or not, but if he is, this is no way to treat a customer who chooses to support cvs for years, rather than big box stores. I came in today purchasing over $100. I had two coupons in my hands I wanted to use. After ringing up my order, he asks me for my cvs number, which is usually done in the beginning. I saw that I had a 25% coupon on my total purchase, and asked if it would be ok to switch to that coupon instead of the $4 off $20. Without hesitation he stated "sorry but I would have to delete everything and start over... can't you come in another time?" I now looked at the long line formed because there is only one cashier, and everyone is already tense with what's going on in the world. Obviously upset, I stated, well that would save me $20 at least, but I guess I will be the better person, and grabbed my stuff and left. I was already stressed by spending way more at cvs than I would have at Walmart or target, but I shop here a lot, and I get coupons that help. Your receipts are books and books of coupons, yet every time I have used them, I get attitude. I would write this individuals name on here, but let's see how much cvs cares about their customers, so Let me wait to see if someone reaches out to me. If not, it will go on there in BOLD.
