CVS of Randolph is definitely one step beyond some of the other's in this area. In all fairness I don't use the pharmacy part of this store so I can't speak to that side of the business but otherwise Friendly Service and I'm usually in and outta here in decent time. It's also nice to see the new inventory of "essentials" in these convenience drug store type chains and I'm not talking about pandemic "essentials" I'm talking about Foodie "Essentials" which in My mind are the Real True "Essentials." Worst service! Got to the drive through window at 1:20pm and the tech told me that my insurance is not working and she said it will cost me $200 told her to pls. check again and she said she is going to lunch in ten minutes and for us to comeback at 2pm smh but my daughter really needs her medicine so we decided to wait at the parking lot, we came back at 2pm and she told me she just got back from lunch and that she going to call again and for us to come around. We came around and there was 3 cars in front of us, finally got to the window and another tech was there gave her the info and she said oh the other tech is working on it, I asked how much longer and she said she doesn't know and for me to pull up on the side and she will wave me back when ready, after 15min. She called me from the window and told me that they called the insurance company and that my daughter does not have coverage, I told to pls. give my card so I can call my insurance and after I got home I called and they told me no one put a claimed and that I am covered. Hate how people have to lie and have no care about peoples needs they should be a shame of themselves. Never coming back there again. read more

This is a pretty decent CVS, the people there are friendly, if you need something generic they will probably have it, from ice cream and frozen dinners to eye drops and tooth paste they will have it. The photo people their are pretty nice. I needed some quick prints made so i took my i loaded up an SD card and went to have them printed. 4x6 photos come out pretty nice. 5x7 photos are a pain in the ass. I had a few i had printed and the screw ups with the borders and then the picture being off it was a pain. The photo guy came by and he took over the whole thing. i showed him what i wanted and he pritned them 3 times until they were perfect, after the second time i was fine with it but he insisted on a 3rd print to make sure it was exactly what i wanted. All in all its alway as good of an experiance as you can get going to a CVS read more

Horrible customer service! I called in advance to make sure my prescription would be ready. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I try to pick up a half hour later and it has to be "verified" by the pharmacist who is too busy to do that right now. Can I come back in 15 minutes? I am sitting in my car coughing and miserable. CVS rte. 10 Randolph has a new trick. If you Medicare RX coverage and a private additional plan, they will always bill the higher payer. So if the private plan does not cover that particular RX they will tell you that your plan does not cover it WITHOUT trying Medicare unless you them. That way they get paid the higher rate by you cash or CC. This is addition to they're texting you about picking up RX that they automatically can renew without a script from your doctor. read more

Horrible service. Left the doctors office over two hours ago and medication still not ready. To top it off they close for lunch till 2:00. Never heard of a pharmacy doing such a thing. Ridiculous! Time to start using a new pharmacy for sure. read more

Got all the medication here for years, now their Pharmacy staffs are nasty and hated their jobs there. Expect a long wait to get your medication and their attitude if you have any question! I have been going to this cvs for 2 years and they always seem to be understaffed. Hence, the service is horrible and the wait times alike! Very frustrating to deal with when you're waiting for medicine for your kids who are cranky and irritable. Their customer service just makes it worse. read more

Its a very good CVS store. It is spacious and well stocked . I never have trouble finding what I'm looking for. The staff is very friendly and eager to assist. Location right on route 10 is an added bonus. read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Every month they tell me I have no more refills, only for me to call (if they actually answer the phone) for them to say, "oh yeah, you do have more, our fault." AND LAZY! And they never follow up on anything. I can't even begin to say how many times they have told me a doctor has refused to refill a prescription, only for me to call the doctor to find out that the pharmacy never even called. Not to mention that the cvs app is the WORST APP EVER MADE!!! CVS customer service admits it's horrible and the staff laughs when you say it doesn't work, yet again. But yet it's been like this for over two years! I called the 800 number and was told a regional manager would call me back. Nothing. CVS obviously has no pride in their service. I'm on the verge of switching all my prescriptions to Walgreens. It's further away and there are less locations but hoping it's worth it to not put up with this incompetence and aggravation. read more

I've been going here to pick up my prescriptions for years and haven't had issues in the past but the past few months have been terrible! There's always a line of 10+ people waiting to pick up there prescriptions and the staff members are rude and arrogant towards their customers. Very disappointed read more

I gave 2 stars because recently service declined. I attribute this to them losing Bob. I don't know what else to say. He was always helpful. Recently my birth control ran out & the pharmacist refused to advance me pills because it was a pack. I told them Bob helped me out before by opening pack and popping out first few pills. The pharmacist gave me a disgusted look and said there are a lot of reasons Bob doesnt work here anymore. My mind tried to wrap itself around that statement but I decided to let it go You can't always understand stupid. Anyway thats why the 2 stars. If Bob were there I'd give 4.5 stars read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I've been forced to go there for about 2 years now and I don't think they've gotten one prescription correct on the first try. The people in the pharmacy tell you your script is ready, and when you get there to pick up your meds it's either, "The doctor didn't call it in" (when they, in fact, did), or "There's a problem with your insurance", or "Did you call?", or some other ridiculous thing that makes it clear that the people behind the counter don't talk to one another, don't bother to tell you what's going on, and just don't do what they say they will. They are awful and totally incompetent. Do yourself a favor and find a different pharmacy so you don't have to stress yourself out dealing with these incompetent people. read more

Horrible pharmacy it is the most frustrating place. You need to constantly follow up with them to see if they received a script, they always tell you no, then you have to go back-and-forth with your doctors office and this pharmacy. They change pharmacist like every other month the lines are ridiculously long. I had many prescriptions there but have transfer them. Even two of the workers there said I don't blame you if you take your prescriptions elsewhere that is how bad it is. The front of the store is fine the people are nice and helpful too bad they can't get their act together in the pharmacy. Go somewhere else they can't handle the volume! read more

I agree with one of the reviews below me that the staff at this pharmacy are unprofessional (they do give you attitude if you ask a question!). I've gone here a few times where I'll come up to the pharmacist to drop off my prescription and the older lady will look at me and say 'one minute' and then literally turn around to talk smack about her coworkers with whoever else is with her behind the pharmacy counter! It's not nonchalantly either, myself and anyone else waiting, can fully hear everything she's saying about the person. No joke, it's happened to me at least 3 times when I've gone there to drop off a prescription. Obviously I understand when people are busy finishing something or have incoming calls you'll tell the customer to wait a min or two, but not if its just to turn around and socialize! - actually, it's not even socializing, she's just talking crap and gossiping about so-and-so. Who knows- but I'm growing tired of being told I have to wait just to listen to her mouth someone off vs actually helping a customer.... And yes, I further agree w the below that there's ALWAYS a wait. Might be bc A&P pharmacy merged with them........ Or it might be bc the staff is too busy talking behind their coworkers' backs to efficiently help customers. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for about two years. They were very understaffed for much of that time. I can understand that and the issues it leads to, to a certain degree. However, for the third time in 6 months, they made an error on prescriptions for my family. The first two were putting the prescription under a different family member. When questioned, the pharmacy rep said they do that for insurance sometimes. In fairness, I am sure this person was ignorant vs CVS doing anything fraudulent. I went back and asked for the manager and they confirmed it was there error and would fix it. Occurred again the following month. Now, I picked up a prescription I have had for 8 months. They changed the dosage and said the doctor had called in to do so. The only problem, the Dr they said called doesn't exist at the Dr office I go to and my Dr said they did not change the prescription. Unfortunately my health plan requires me to go to CVS, but I will be moving my prescriptions and will pay out of pocket if I need to. Side note - we had one expensive prescription I checked Costco price out of network paying directly and it was 70% less than CVS contracted price. I asked CVS what the cash price would be and the price went up. Guess I may save money switching too. read more

I have been telling my husband that we need to change pharmacies for some time now and perhaps after tonight we will. Not only is there ALWAYS a wait (for example, we were put on hold on the phone for 30 minutes and had to talk to this particular pharmacy because other CVS pharmacies do not know the particular brand of medication that was used) but the pharmacist did not even know whether the prednisolone that was filled for my daughter needed refrigeration or should be kept at room temperature. We had learned from another pharmacist that some brands need refrigeration while others need to be kept at room temperature and saw the same information on line. This seems to be pretty basic medication and one that pharmacists should know about storage. When we finally got through to the pharmacist he told me it could either be refrigerated or kept at room temperature. I told him what the other pharmacist and on-line information had said. After researching for a number of minutes he finally came back to say that yes my daughter's particular medication should be stored at 68 degrees and above. So, if I had not informed the pharmacist that it was either refrigeration or room temperature----but definitely not both----we might have incorrectly stored the medication. He apologized and at least admitted that it did need to be kept at room temperature but this is really not acceptable. And, it makes you wonder what else they get wrong that could potentially have seriously bad consequences as a result. read more
