The store itself is always well packed with goods and the bathrooms are clean here. The staff is really great as well. I've only been treated nicely and respectfully during my frequent experiences here with my last being while trying to use the ATM, I had to do 2 separate transactions and seemingly my first one emptied the remaining cash inside as I was given an "out of service" error immediately after my first transaction concluded. The card I was using only works with this locations ATM as it doesn't have a chip and every other ATM I've tried before...will not work with this particular card so I was kind of freaking out inside but me being me..full of anxiety..I was just going to quietly leave without making a peep. As the man working who I believe is the owner, I could be wrong but I do believe so....had called out and asked if everything was okay as I pushed open the door to leave. My boyfriend being behind me..I turned around and told him to just let the man know that the ATM was giving that error. At that point the man motioned to hold on 1 minuteat which time he came from around the register with a lock box which obviously told us the ATM was probably just out of cash which ended up being the case so he filled the ATM, went through about 50 prompts on the screen lol and successfully fixed it so I was able to complete my second transaction...which helped me more than I could explain because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get that second amount that I desperately so I was truly genuinely and sincerely appreciative that he noticed...something, I don't know exactly..body language, maybe face expression etc. and instead of just ignoring it as nowadays...unfortunately, that is the normal customer service experiences I tend to have..but he picked up on it and reacted before I had even one foot out the door so that was just a really small, random experience that, to me, was actually a big deal because it really helped me avoid quite a few issues and stress as stated above, no other ATM within walking distance at least has ever worked with this one specific card except for this location so it just stuck out to me. Plus, it's important to add that I am 8 months pregnant and this location is right outside where I am currently staying as everything else is a walk to some places being literally a hike that I do not believe I could achieve successfully at this point so it was a big deal for me to not have to go waddle around trying to figure out any kind of additional option..if any and if not..do all that waddling for nothing...UGH! The only one thing I can say when speaking pros and cons....the one con for me is that the prices are SUPER high. A carton of ice cream..at Market Basket is $3 or $4 and change...here they are $7 and change, just as an example to give a little scope. Let's be honest here, I financially struggle pretty greatly right now so I just do not have the extra few bucks it would cost to purchase items from this store, I TOTALLY understand "we are paying for the convenience" and I get that, it's not my place to speak on the prices anyone decides to place their items at....sure, I absolutely would love if the prices were more affordable as it would save me so, so many struggling walks to Market Basket, which is quite a bit of a walk from me but something I NEED to do because....well..I need food, I need groceries lol I have a license but no vehicle and no additional funds to afford Lyfts or Ubers so I gotta do what I gotta do but yes, sure...it would be absolutely AMAZING if the prices were more affordable & in that similar range of the grocery store as I would be able to get groceries by just going outside and taking a small hop, jump, skip right over to this store instead of the mini hike Market Basket is for me especially at this point in my pregnancy but otherwise...I've had only positive experiences here...and just wish I could afford to grab items here as it would make my life a lot easier and take a lot of stress or my body from having to walk the further distances for groceries but that's really the only "bad" thing or con that I can point out!!
