CVS is located directly across from the older Walgreens. In comparison I prefer the Walgreens, here's why. The parking is easier at Walgreens, where CVS is on a hill. The pharmacy at CVS is more chaotic. The pharmacist aren't as friendly. The layout of the store isn't cohesive. It's not a bad store by any means but I simply prefer the tried and true Walgreens. read more

Wiyhout a doubt, this is the last straw per CVS and me. This CVS Pharmacy is abominable. I was in the drive-through for close to 15 minutes behind three people, and as soon as I got to the window - they closed not only the window, but the gate behind the window. I came inside to get my prescriptions and I was ignored, then I was told they were closed for lunch to which I responded, but I was in line for close to 15 minutes waiting for my prescriptions until you close the window on. Then they began to argue with me telling me I was a liar. This is the last time idea with CVS for anything. Funny enough when I started my phone at them as if I were taking a video they jump behind the counters. Totally unprofessional people dealing with medications. read more

This location is no better than the one that closed down. The pharmacy is so lack luster. I was never informed of my prescription refill till our was completely out. It is not easy to get into the lot due to so much traffic. I cannot imagine how hard it will be to access the new one once that one open. My last visit I had to wait even after being notified by text that it was ready after waiting for the prescription to be filled. For some reason the clerk could not locate my prescription and waited on others while I had to wait yet again. I will say having the savings card is handy. Good deals and awesome coupons. read more

Pharmacy is a mess. On hold for 15 minutes, walk into store while still on hold and THERE IS NO ONE IN LINE. They just let my call ring. Then was dismissed by a pharmacist who wouldn't check stock of my medication that was said to be backordered. read more

I didn't have to wait long for the prescription, but my boyfriend just recently had a spinal fusion so I went to go pick up his medication alone. While driving through the window the man tells me "it will only take 20 minutes, you can come inside where it's warm." (I was automatically freaked out because my car was warm and it also was late at night. I simply replied, "Oh, no thanks I'm going to get my boyfriend some food. I'll just come back." So, I got my food and came back. The man tells me "I'm having issues with one of the prescriptions. I just have to call the insurance. You can come inside if you want it will only take about 5 minutes." Once again, I declined the offer and went back to the other store to fix my messed up food order. On the way out of the parking lot, I did a swoop around and realized there was only two cars there. I'm assuming his and the cashier. When I came back for the third time I was in the phone with my boyfriend on speaker (on purpose) so he didn't ask me to come inside again or anything. Maybe I am just over thinking it, but I was extremely uncomfortable. read more

This pharmacy has been terrible, they don't fill a prescription until you call trying to find out where your prescription is when it was ordered 5 days ago. Every time I have tried to pick up a prescription, I hear them telling other people "it's not ready yet" , there is always an issue with this pharmacy. read more

I tried to give this pharmacy the benefit of the doubt because the first 4 months using this location was relatively pleasant. However, it's been over a year now and the pharmacy has consistently failed to deliver better service. From the long lines, to the lackluster demeanor of everyone behind the counter, I'm truly over this CVS. I want to cuss someone out every time I leave here--it's that annoying. I signed up for the text alerts regarding my prescription and this service has been helpful and consistent. This month I failed to receive a text alert regarding when my script would be available for pickup, so I called the pharmacy today from 10:50-11:30am...nonstop....busy signals. Finally got through and was immediately hung up on. I call back again, and finally get through after the 10,000th attempt. I inquire about my prescription and am told nothing is available for me, so I give them the name of my prescription and ask if I need to call my doctor for a refill. They quickly blame the system for the error and tell me my prescription will be ready in an hour. Cool, crisis adverted. It's 5:15 pm at LEAST a whole 4 hours after confirming with the representative on the phone that my prescription would be ready. Low and behold it's still "in production" "Would you mind waiting an additional 30 minutes?" *stale face* F*%#$&!%^ Over them, completely. Trying desperately to keep my cool, because I do realize there's somewhat of a high turnover here so everyone is always in training. Idk what has to take place for them to get it together, because clearly the 1 star reviews aren't prompting corporate to step in. read more

Without a doubt this is the worst pharmacy I have ever had experience with. Unfortunately, this review does not allow you to give less than 1star. And I won't get into the details about past experiences with this pharmacy, but this most recent one has got my blood boiling. My doctor called in two prescriptions over a week ago. It took them three days to fill just one of the prescriptions. When I checked the mobile app about the progress of the second prescription -- it said it was out of stock and that I should call the pharmacist to see where I can get the second needed prescription. I called and I was on hold for 35 minutes before I had to hang up and get on with my next appointment. When I was able to call back -- I was on hold for 45 minutes, until I decided to drive up to the CVS while I was still on the phone. Much to my surprise (not really) there was no one waiting in line at the pharmacy counter and there was no one in the drive-through, yet there were 4 people in the pharmacy. So, I stayed on the phone on hold while standing in front of the pharmacy as I continued to hear the phone ring. I put my phone down and went to the counter to inquire about my prescription, and I was told it was in process and that I would be called. I never mentioned the fact that I was still standing there on hold while the phone rang. Because as we all know... they would have held up the works even more. So, I left in disgust hoping that I would get my prescription that day since they told me it was in process. A week later, today, I called again and was on hold for 25 minutes. When they finally answered the phone and got my information I was told that it was out of stock. I asked if there was another CVS Pharmacy that would have the prescription.... I was placed on hold for another 10 minutes .... when the person finally picked up the phone they told me that there were no CVS pharmacies with that prescription... it was out of stock. My only option is either to wait, and unfortunately they told me they don't know when it would be in. Or, to call another pharmacy. When this new CVS opened I had great hopes that they would be much better than the old CVS that was on Harford Road down the street... read more

my wife ..first TIME at a CVS pharmacy..had 3 prescriptions filled total $94.01 she asked the pharmacist ..would GOOD RX be cheaper he said NO our insurance would be cheaper...we are both 65+ fixed income...and why Be treated like this when I came home I went on the good RX site $15.40...even Wegmans total was 26.91 I guess the pharmacist at CVS work on commission stay away... unless U don't care how much U pay for your prescriptions never 2 darken the doors at ANY CVS..and like a disgruntled employee We will tell everyone we know ..about how we where cheated read more

This has to be the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I had been standing at the pharmacy counter for 55 minutes before my prescription was filled. Bored out of my mind, I decided to write this review; not to mention I asked for an update and was told "a few more minutes." My doctor sent in my prescription yesterday, so I'm not sure why it wasn't ready, but apparently a ton of people were being told the same thing. I also had the scanner/laser pointing in my face several times - see picture attached. I ended up wondering the store to keep myself occupied and attempt to be patient. In that time, I purchased a few items, including two bags of sour skittles (two because it was sale). But both bags of skittles were STALE. I nearly chipped my tooth on skittles!!!! They're supposed to be chewy, not jaw breakers... I'm finding a new pharmacy. This one is difficult to get out of anyhow... having to cross over 4 lanes of traffic is not fun. read more

This is the first review I have ever written on an establishment.. but this cvs is literally the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I had a couple prescriptions sent in.. went to pick it up they told me it was a two hour wait.. no biggie. went home and came back two hours later. my prescription still wasn't ready. after 30 min they told me a high price for my prescription and I then asked them to run my insurance.. they said my insurance was rejecting my prescriptions. odd. never happened before? I called my insurance company they never got any claims. but I asked for all the prescription info they needed and wrote it down even though it was the same info they had.. again he said it isn't going through and told me has doesn't have time to help me. meanwhile this medication is a need for me. so i wait and in the meantime a women comes in from the drivethru with her small child and she wasn't able to fill the prescription for her either, and another person came through.. same problem. it is terrible. I called another pharmacy they were able to fill it write away. it's truly sickening how unhelpful they were and how much they clearly could care less about someone's health. my insurance company confrmed to me that they never even tried to run it for me. I was there a total of two hours. read more

Always a long wait at the pharmacy. They do not have enough people working to accommodate the other store closing down. Miscommunication about when meds will be available or not also wastes time ..almost as badly as waiting in line for picking up your medication. If you try to call they hardly ever pick up or there's multiple people in front of you. Was on hold for 45 mins the other day and then hung up on. The people who work there are clearly frustrated as well. Very unfortunate. read more

I've never cared for cvs. My main gripe is that their prices are ridiculously high. Some of the workers are rude. But in general I've found stores don't train their workers to be polite. I guess we'll just have to put up with customer service being below par. read more

Have been trying to get my controlled substance prescription filled for 10 days. It seems like every other month they screw it up, either by filling it late, not having it in stock, not communicating when it will be ready, not communicating if there is a problem. They just don't give a bleep! I was on hold 50 MINUTES before someone finally picked up. Phone customer service sucks! There is always a line in the pharmacy as well as the drive in. They never consolidate your medications so you end up having to pick up multiple days. Now I know for controlled substances there are a lot of rules, but miscommunicating and nasty staff do NOT help. Customer Service doesn't exist. I get it that the staff are grumpy and way overwhelmed since they never staff enough workers to handle the demand. Typical retail BS they'd want the minimum 1 pharmacist and 1 tech to handle all their phone orders, in-person orders, fax orders, and drive in orders. And management wonders why they're losing customers? Unacceptable, and shame on the pharmacy manager setting up that kind of situation. Seems like it's a good time to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Would not recommend getting prescriptions filled here unless you clear your whole day. Depending on the day, the staff are very rude. Not only that, the wait times for medications that are supposed to be "ready" are insane. I do not have 35 minutes and beyond to wait for a medication that should be ready. The pharmacy is so disorganized and needs to get things together. I will definitely be looking into switching my pharmacy needs. read more

Let me just say this is my second encounter standing with my one-year-old daughter at the counter for what feels like eight hours without any hello nobody say I'll be with you shortly nothing in the longest line people are leaving left and right because how awful this Pharmacy. I went in to get a topical for my daughter in which I call ahead of time they know my insurance doesn't cover it and I have to use the good RX card all of the other stores price match it at the same price meanwhile they're trying to charge me $30 for it and this is after I'm holding my one year-old for three hours in line for the second time I've been unsuccessful attempt to get a topical face cream for a toddler Who has a infection on her face... I do not know how this places in business I never leave better views ever but I waited it out and I had to put it out there that this place either needs to be evaluated or shut down my goodness! I've never ever in my life endured such a sad , unpleasant and unprofessional experience. This is so terrible to say but this is how intense this CVS needs to be shut down but you could probably score of the street drugs here quicker than you can pick up an anabiotic for your child!!! Yes I said it! One last thing I left after clearly being upset and asking them to price match and look at my member good RX card and not one person looked up there was one Chinese woman who went in assisted her child eating a lollipop in the waiting room before helping any customer whose stood there As long as what seem to be an entire half day!! That's when I knew something was not right with this place I don't even know if these are for real licensed pharmacists!!
