I go to the photo section of the CVS at Bergen Town Center (BTC). I've never had an issue with orders placed online (quick and easy with pick-ups for standard print jobs). Even though it's located in BTC, there is ample parking for this CVS. I always find a spot and can run inside for this or that there. read more

Pharmacy never call you back. Bad customer service. Doctors can never talk to pharmacist. They never answer.

They don't fill prescriptions when you call them in and they don't call you to tell you what the problem is before you show up thinking you're going to get your medication. The customer service is atrocious here. read more

I have never had a problem at this CVS other than wait time on phone at pharmacy at times. People are unbelievably helpful whether I'm tring to find something in the store or at the pharmacy asking questions or picking up RXs. The people in the Minute Clinic are kind and patient. This is a very busy CVS and like everywhere else struggling to get employees. Every time I'm there, and I'm there a lot, the pharmacy is so busy. (Anyone ever look at the amount of RXs in bins to be picked up? In the hundreds at all times!). Give them a break! Walk in their shoes for a week before you decide to leave a bad review. From someone that used to work retail, I appreciate what they have to do everyday. read more

I happened to stop off at this CVS on 7/5 - not a single visible employee whatsoever (all the real registers were closed?), just the 2 self checkouts were open. It wasn't even late, maybe around 6ish pm. All of the fridges doors were open & everything was warm. On a hot day, can't even purchase a cold drink & even better? All of the 20 oz Pepsi zeros were dated for June. I never saw a store with not a single employee even watching the front. When an employee finally did come up front, he was trying to tell me the fridges were broken, unsure what that has to do with soda being past the best by date available for sale. Attitudes hear need to be changed like they change their hours. Everyone is rude, no one is educated on their job description and/ or they act like they own cvs. Every time I come here there's always something wrong, they have me wait although I was told my rx would be ready. The person at the drive through never knows what she is doing, she never knows about the Good Rx benefits and doesn't care to ask for help if she needs it from other staff. She tell you to "come inside" as she doesn't want to be bothered. Redic. Was just there yesterday to pick up prescriptions as I was texted they were ready and of course they weren't. When I was told one of them would not be covered by my insurance I asked the amount and was told "it doesn't say"- i would expect the next step would be for her to say "I'll go find out" but no that wasn't offered and when I asked I was greeted with an attitude. The pharmacy is always busy- high volume! Be prepared to wait. The drive-thru pharmacy is nice but can be a very long wait. Just be prepared to wait if there are 2+ cars in front of you. When shopping in the store, everyone is always friendly. CVS has an app that always has coupons. There is even a way to avoid getting those long receipts at the register. You have to click digital receipts on your CVS app! read more

Pros and cons here. Pros is a convenient location and pretty well stocked with fairly good variety of items. But the negatives outweigh the positives. At least 3 times, the self-checkout had hiccups so could not be used, while trying to use it. So went to the back of the long line, although one time I just walked out. Staff is hit or miss as to being friendly and helpful. The worst part is the pharmacy. First bad experience was flu shot and my second was filling an R. Although booked a time slot for the shot on-line, there was at least a 20 minute wait. Another walk out for me (over to the nearby Target which was walkable, and has its own CVS pharmacy). Walked in without appointment, taken within 5 minutes, got the shot. Will go here from now on. Regarding the prescription, received a notice on my phone that it was ready. Went through the drive-through...nope, not ready. Showed my notice, didn't matter. Went back later, wrong Rx. No apology. Parked, walked in, retrieved my prescription to fill elsewhere. I had the most disgusting thing occur to me in this store today . I had an employee follow me to my car and take a picture of my plates on her personal device as she racially profiled me. when I asked her why she took a picture of my plates she would not answer. I went in to the store to demand she give me an answer and she wouldn't speak. I had to call the police and get them involved. she accused me of coming in with an empty "bag " and leaving with a full bag after I came in to refill all of my prescriptions.. I demanded an apology and was told she was going her job and being extra cautious due to the bag bans in the county ... I have never been so embarrassed in my life !!!! Do not go to this store .. I don't know what the employee did with the photos she took of me or my car !!! The manger in charge Romeo had the decency to speak to the cops but no one would provide the lady's name. The pharmacy area is a joke. I called them about a prescription and was on hold for over 20 minutes, and was told that they were really busy. Came to the store after I hang up and found the place EMPTY! I live five minutes from this place. When I got there, no one greeted me like they used to, and no one asked if I needed help with anything. While I was waiting, again, even though there was no line, I saw people in the pharmacy area giggling, and really taking their sweet time. There are about six people and no one came over to attend the pickup line. Is this a business or a frat house? read more

They are out of stock of medicine and can't fulfill prescriptions which they don't let you know until you show up that they don't have it. Luckily one of the pharmacists called other CVS so I could receive the medications I needed. Very helpful! read more

Worst experience, today I went to shop few things had some issues with bill and have to call manager, she was not ready to understand anything instead she was so rude and nasty!! She did not have any knowledge of the cvs system and their extra bucks system. She made me feel terrible, very rude not good candidate to be manager!! The absolute worst staff! They filled my prescription incorrectly and shoe no refills even though my doctor sent it in. My doctor had to call to straighten it out! Not showing no refills again - trying to call them and over 30 mins on hold and finally hung up! The worst ever. Came here to buy something and Print some photos. It was my first time at this specific CVS location. I was happy and impressed with the great customer service! Within 10 mins, 2 employees asked me if I needed help with anything, as well as directing me with where the photo printing was. They wiped out all the Mom and Pop pharmacies and now we are at they're mercy. They fill prescriptions weeks ahead and then call you every day to tell you to pick it up. Then you go to pick it up and they say we put it back in stock. A week ago they said they had to call to get one refilled than called when it was ready. When I went to pick it up of corse there's ten people in line. So I wait about a half hour and told they have nothing for me and have to call the doctor to have it refilled. They only care about the money. I wish I had my old pharmacist back. read more

I, as a loyal CVS customer who visits my local store 5x/week, may have high standards when visiting other CVS locations, but this was the most disappointing CVS shopping experience I can remember. The store appeared 'messy' - maybe the mall location results in high customer traffic, preventing staff from tidying up after customers? There was also a long, slow-moving line. Most shocking, however, was when I went to return a CVS-branded item purchased at my local CVS. The cashier simply said that she would not allow me to return the item. When I stated that I didn't understand why I couldn't return a recently purchased item that was a CVS-branded product, she simply said "she, in accordance with store policy, allows returns based on her comfort level and she wasn't comfortable with me." This statement and policy raises serious legal and discrimination issues. If I was CVS, I would not be comfortable defending this staff member and policy in the court of public opinion or a court of law. What exactly about me caused the staff member discomfort? Did I not look like her? Or did it have to do with the fact I was with my mother? Rather than answer any more of my questions, the cashier called the next customer forward and starting ringing that customer up before I even had a chance to move. I will never return to this CVS. read more

I just had the WORST experience the time was 7:50am the doors where wide open to invite customers in so I walked in. I saw 2 Caucasian men standing around that mentioned they were customers looking for help. Out of no where the manager Shyam Atwal storms at me yelling "WE ARENT OPEN LEAVE" then forces me out locks the door and let's the 2 Caucasian customers inside to shop. Oh I'm black by the way. After he reopened the store I confronted him on his poor lack of customer service and told him I'm reporting him. He replied "that's fine" then stormed off after I asked his name. Sad for him it's ON THE WALL IN THE FRONT OF THE STORE. I've never been treated so poorly and it was clearly a racist, yes I said it racist act. Will NOT shop there again!!!!!! read more

Easily my favorite cvs in the area. Located in Bergen town center it is easily the most convenient for me. The pharmacy has a drive up window that I really like especially when I need to be in and out. They always have a great selection of everything I could possibly need and the staff at the pharmacy is top notch. I just had the most wonderful experience at this CVS. I saw a doctor in the area and decided to fill my Rx in the event I ran into issues - as this happens to me constantly in NY (where I live). This CVS, like many pharmacies I go to were out of the medication as it's been an ongoing issue for the last several months. The pharmacist let me know, I shrugged my shoulders and figured I'd spend the next several hours driving around looking for a pharmacy who actually had the medication... a drill I know all too well. The pharmacist Andrea asked, "Would you like me to call around to see if I can find that medication somewhere in the area for you?" I was startled - I was even more confused. I just stood there staring blankly at her thinking, "Is this really happening?" Naturally, I accepted her generous offer and within a few minutes she found another pharmacy nearby who had the meds I needed! She proceeded to give me directions and apologized for the construction and traffic I might run into and said it's the only place that has it. I checked out at the front as the pharmacy was busy and they had already given me so much of their time. The cashier was lovely! She actually looked at me, spoke to me and smiled! I am compelled to spend more time in Paramus, NJ specifically because of this experience. Very refreshed by having kind and thoughtful interactions with complete strangers today! read more

Don't waste your time coming here. The pharmacy is a mad house, they always have new people, who are trying to figure out the systems. The manager could not care less if someone complains. The Minute Clinic is a joke, the appointment times are wrong. You either have to wait at least 30 minutes, or if the person before you cancelled they move up your appointment without notification. Avoid this CVS location if you're shopping for makeup. On 7/23/2016 I caught a young woman store employee opening Maybelline lipsticks and testing them on her hand, then putting them back into the display all the while loudly chatting with another employee who was stocking shelves in the next aisle. When I checking out, I asked to speak to a manager to bring this to the store's attention, and to my astonishment, the same young woman can over. I scolded her for the violation of all kinds of health codes with her behavior. She just said "OK, OK" with no apology or accountability. I have escalated my complaints to CVS regional management to complain about this employee's careless and unhygienic actions and am still waiting for a satisfactory response. I have been a regular customer of this location for years and I haven't been back since. I may keep some of my prescription business there but will definitely never purchase makeup there again. You shouldn't either as long as "Ashley" is still employed there. read more
