Very incompetent staff keeps canceling my medication instead of filling it has happened more than once

I went to get some eye drops today to CVS in Paramount on Alondra and Lakewood and the cashier had like six people waiting to check to be checked out and I saw another guy at the warehouse coming in and out and I was waiting for for someone to come over to give me the eye drops and I waited 10 minutes or a little bit more and no one never show up. That's a very bad customer service. read more

Female pharmacist (Indian decent) has no patience when it comes to customer service. I requested information on the process for medication covered under workers compensation and she failed to explain. Then she requested I speak to the female Asian pharmacist . She seemed overwhelmed with the work load and again provided little to no help. I went to Walgreens down the street. They confirmed coverage and without hesitation I received the medication. Same goal, different outcome!! Would not recommend CVS Pharamcy. read more

NO HELP AT ALL, I came to pick up a photo pickup order; was the first person in line and they redirected me to the kiosk where I watched the cashier help every single person in line while I waited at the kiosk. When he finally got the line down I called the cashier over to help me at the kiosk and he attempted to look for my order, said he couldn't find it, and then shushed me away be saying "I'll find it later". Like ????? He proceeded to go back to the line, and then a lady came asking for help in the cosmetic aisle. He went to help her RIGHT AWAY while I proceeded to wait for him to come back to the kiosk -- meaning he was picking and choosing who to help. I've never seen a drugstores dirty as this in my entire life it's unbelievable and they sell pharmaceuticals. The rug alone is enough to make one when it gets sick to their stomach. I understand the homeless outside and around back is a problem but inside it's a health hazard somebody needs to address this. read more

Asked to use the restroom because it required a key to unlock and the lady told me to wait for a huge line to checkout first before she could help me. Apparently only one person is allowed to unlock the bathroom for customers when they have countless other staff members. She proceeded to go somewhere else. I obviously urgently needed to use the restroom otherwise I wouldn't be asking.... Many possible solutions for the issue but none were made. read more

I have had very mixed results at this location. The pharmacy staff is excellent. On the other hand...we waited and waited for staff to respond to the locked cosmetics area. No one ever responded to the request for staff button. I am now at home looking to purchase online the over $50 dollars of cosmetics that I was trying to purchase from CVS. read more

Large rectangular, easy to navigate inside...large parking lot outside. They had a large selection of Mexican candies, which caught my eye. The mobile app will actually tell you the inventory of each location, so we went to this one, but they were out...so ended up going to a different one. read more

There's some special about this pharmacy. Every time I come here I am treated with kindness and respect. Being a cancer survivor and a disabled veteran I have been to a lot of pharmacies and this one has been the best so far. Every time I have had any issues or questions the pharmacist and workers are always willing to help me. I am so thankful to live near this place. read more

If you can avoid this location i would suggest youndo so! Let me start off saying I hate coming to this locationbut the location is ideal. Usually the workers are nice but this last time I went will probably be my last! I had a Christmas party and needed some false Eyelashes. The whole cosmetic wall is locked up so you have to puch s button that says over the loud speaker that I needed help in the cosmetic department. I waited a little, I understand the employees are busy so I waited like 5 minutes and then pushed it again in case they forgot about me. I waited another 5 minutes and started to get irritated at this point. Plus it was extremely hot in there. After the second 5 minutes I pushed it again. Still no one. I waited there for about 15 minutes before anyone came to help me. I pointed to what I needed and she took my Eyelashes to the counter. I got one more thing I needed and got in line. No one was in line but the minute the guy behind the counter saw me coming he left the cash register and disappeared. So now I'm like why is everyone being so rude here? I waited there another few minutes and NO ONE would help me. I couldn't go to self checkout because I needed my Eyelashes from behind the counter. Some guy got in line behind me and he saw no one was there to help and asked me is it only self check out and I was like I have no idea and I have been waiting and no one's helping me. All the sudden another worker who was restocking the shelfs (who i saw the whole time but thought she was a shopper and she saw me too waiting in the line forever) went to the GUY who just got in line and said can I help you sir? I was like excuse me, I've been waiting here and need help. I need my Eyelashes and she looked at me rude, gave them to me, told me to use self checkout and then smiled to the guy and rang him up with a smile. And the other cashier came back to help the next person. I was so annoyed. Like are they mad that I neededcosmetics? I don't know what I did but they were all very rude to me. Doctor put in a prescription for pain medication for my stage 4 cancer. Prescription was put in on a Friday afternoon. I was told by CVS that it takes 2 business days for them to get the drug delivered to them. They said " hopefully we receive it by Monday. Call us after 3:00 p.m. to see if we got it in". So until then I guess I'm suppose to suffer and tough it out. Keep my fingers crossed they get it in. I never had this problem with Walgreens. read more

I don't know if you've ever been to a funeral before but it cost so much money to buy a flower arrangement for a funeral. I feel so horrible saying this but I can't spend $275 on a floral arrangement. I need that money to eat delicious food LOL. We must try!Every time I'm at the dollar store I always see all the things that I would need if I would ever make a floral arrangement. Well let's see if I can pull this off. Of course I wanted a picture with a frame in the middle so I went to my local dollar store . Then headed to CVS which was luckily right next to it . Another blessing nobody was in the store at the time so Samantha was so nice and got to help me do the whole thing it was done in minutes! It was so easy and it only costed $.49 . I had no idea how easy and how cheap it is to print pictures out I'm gonna do more ! Here's how my arrangement came out trial and error. I tried my best. If I could give this pharmacy a zero star rating I would. Horrible service. My mom was discharged from the hospital and her insulin medicine was sent here. It needed to get done in two hours and once we went to pick up it wasn't ready and they told us to wait 24hrs. 24hrs go by and I call them to make sure it's ready and they tell me to wait another 24hrs for her INSULIN medicine. Diabetic people need their insulin!!! THEY CAN NOT GO DAYS WITHOUT IT. HORRIBLE!!!! She is now without her insulin for over 30+ hours!! Because these people cant seem to do their job properly. read more

I came in to buy detergent like 5 mins ago and some chubby white lady (I think she was wearing glasses) who was manager I guess was wearing all black and lecturing Michael on the floor by the front in front of the customers which is madd unprofessional. She was telling him he needs some serious work to improve and what his problem is like girl wtf be fr u a manager at cvs be calm....Michael is so sweet and took my products to the front bc they were heavy and I didn't wanna hold them while I got the rest of my stuff. He's a good worker and always helps me out and even signed me up for the CVS rewards to save me money last time. This is just a regular old CVS. It could be a Rite-Aid, Walgreens or even a Thrifty. As you walk in they do say hello - Just like Walgreens. I only come here because of my insurance has me use CVS for my Medications. This Pharmacy provides GREAT service. They are always Friendly. They are always BUSY. You don't see them hanging around and chatting. They are always on the move. Sometimes you have a long line - but they get it done very quickly. My wife takes care of most of the business here during the day as she is retired and I work. But for some reason, the Pharmacy Manager knows my name and welcomes me by name, says hello, and always makes sure we are taken care of. This is the best, most accommodating pharmacy I have ever gone to. The medications are all the same but the service is just AWESOME! the whole staff is just incredible! read more

What can I say? CVS is one of the ultimate convenient stores that has a large selection of everything. I like shopping here, but something's there's nobody walking the floors and you have to go up to the cashier so they can summon someone to help you if they have a line of customers waiting to check out. It's not bad, And it might just be me, but I just miss being able to ask a worker for help is either walking the floor or stocking shelves. read more

The staff at the pharmacy on 02/13/2020 night was attentive and quick. They were busy, so the girl told me she would be right with me. The man in the white coat saw me standing there and asked around to make sure I wasn't waiting too long. The male inventory specialist came right over and helped me out; he answered my questions and even helped me with the pricing. I was already having a long day from multiple doctors and being diagnosed with something uncomfortable.. this pharmacy helped me through with the process and got me out of there so quick. TIP: if the drive thru is really busy, just walk inside to drop off a prescription. read more

I wish you could see this line. I would take a picture, but then it wouldn't even give it context. It's 6:00 p.m. now. I have been in this line since 5:15. Do you know if I had a choice, I would go elsewhere. However, this is where my prescription gets refilled. It's a plus that they have a drive through, but this line is always at least three cars long. When you go inside, you end up waiting just to see them move around quickly, but still never getting the job done. They need more staff. read more

Love this CVS, employees here are great and actually make your day better! They are great at small talk and extremely helpful. The only issue I had here was an employee committing what seemed to be a micro aggression. This employee is new and I won't put the persons name here because I realize person is young and will see and learn a lot of things along the way, just like I did. I know maybe it's not a big deal, but sometimes after a hard day of working, you don't want to deal with this or be told that you are being too sensitive. The Store is Great but there is one problem with this store and the people that work in the pharmacy department and last Friday May 27, 2022 and I went to pick up my medication and there was this Asian Female Older Employee in her mid 50's or 60's years of age who was very rude to us and telling us that the line is the other way in her aggressive attitude and even yelled at us when I was in line and she give me a dirty look that made me feel I was not welcome here and I just came here to pick my medication I was causing no trouble at all. read more

Came here for a Tetanus booster after stepping on a rusty nail. Made an appointment online, fast and easy, cost was very low $63 for uninsured patients. I got there and check in was quick the girl at the cashier was super nice she even searched for a coupon to help me with the costs and I ended up paying only $50 which was awesome. Person administering the shot was nice, fast and the shot was painless. Great all around. Was super happy to save money. If I had gone to a dr they were quoting me a little over a $100 for the visit and shot so this was a real money and time saver. Awesome place! read more

Ugh... I love the bargains, the exta bucks and their sales but this location sucks! They rarely have anyone behind the counter so you can pay. You have to find someone yourself or bother the pharmacy (who are always happy to help). Also, theres a middle aged man that has a bitchy attitude and zero customer service skills. He pings my gaydar but that's besides the point. They're constantly out of razor blades, shave cream, mascara, conditioner and spray tan I use. If they were stocked up I'd buy these things all the time. Now I don't even bother stopping here. And their photo area hardly ever gets it right. Boo for this place. read more

One person can really ruin a business. This CVS location has an employee named Javier. Javier is a very rude, unprofessional, and extremely unbalanced as far as his common sense goes. I visit this location to pick up my medication all the time and sometimes I will do some shopping here, but rarely since CVS prices are usually marked up higher than most other stores that sell similar products. Anyway, after I successfully picked up my medication from the pharmacy, I remembered that I needed Epsom salt for a nice soothing bath to soak my swollen legs in. I was unable to locate where the Epsom salt was so, to my misfortune, I run into a CVS employee named Javier. I stop him to ask for help and already, just by the look on his face, he made it plain to see that he would really rather be somewhere else. Aside from that little signal that he was extruding, I felt like I could ask for help anyway, but I shouldn't have because his attitude was horrible. He looked at me as if I were an invalid with an irritating request that was below his notice. Instead of telling me in a respectful tone of voice that he would be taking me down to the aisle where the product was located with a professional and helpful demeanor, Javier was extremely irritated and walked off with an almost tantrum-like expression. He didn't even bother to tell me to follow him or anything. I was left standing there like an idiot. At first I thought maybe he hadn't heard my request but he had made eye contact with me as I asked for help. A few seconds later he came back to where he had left me and said, "Yeah, it's over here," all the while he was giving me a look as though I were stupid for not simply following him when he walked off. I was quite annoyed and insulted by his behaviour and demeanor, so I let him lead me to the Epsom salt, had him go through to find the one I was looking for (there were around 7 different brands of Epsom salt available, however I was looking for a specific chemical in the ingredients). When he finally found the right one, he gave me a dirty look that really pissed me off because I hadn't done anything wrong! So I told him, "Yes that is the one, thank you." I walked away and he assumed I was walking to the register so he could check me out with the product. He followed me to the front of the store and called after me as I left the building. I turned and told him, "Thanks but I don't want to bother you anymore. Judging by your awful attitude, you clearly have other things that you would rather be doing than to be helping me. If only half of my prescription is ready, don't call me and and say my prescription is available for pickup. Technically only half of it is available and I should have been called and informed of such. And it wasn't until I had to question the tech on where my other prescription was, does she then explain to me the situation. Common sense would say to me that wasn't the proper protocol. Wasting my time and gas is a negative. Next time call me and tell me EXACTLY what I'm getting. Only using CVS because I have too. This shit wouldn't happen at Walgreens..Ijs! Went in tonight to buy some stuff I needed and make a quick stop. Once I got to the register and was going to pay for my purchase, I noticed an item overpriced by $1. I nicely told the cashier JOANNA about it. She didn't let me finish my sentence and rudely cut me off saying I was mistaken because SHE had shelved the items herself. I proceeded to tell her I saw a tag but she was already not willing to hear my concern. Then a man by photo department asked for help and she said 'I already told you he's on break!"
