In the past 24 hours, this is my third time at this pharmacy. I recently got married and I did not have my updated insurance card. I had my old drivers license with my maiden name, and I had my current one with my new last name. My insurance ID number did not change. Nobody could find me in the system. I was advised they would not give me my medication until I got my insurance ID number. So on round three I went in today with my ID number. Today was the first time somebody told me there was two accounts and nobody bothered to check that. When I came in this morning at 9 AM there was an overflow of discarded medical trash. When I came in 4 PM it was still there and even worse. Watched somebody blatantly walk out of the store with stolen merchandise because there is no security. I don't know what's going on with this place in the last couple days but it's pretty disappointing. read more

The pharmacy staff is so incompetent! And rude! Lines are so long and they're very unapologetic about it!! Scripts get faxed by MDs, in the morning but they don't bother to check the fax machine and tell people they haven't received ANYTHING! I hate CVS so much. They always have a huge line and seem to be struggling. The staff acts like the DMV. And their lunchtimes are inconsistent and do not match what is posted. That's so frustrating. Unfortunately I will no longer be utilizing this pharmacy. They are unprofessional and inconsiderate. How do you forget to fill one of multiple prescriptions that were received at the same time? Their alerts do not coincide with reality. I received an alert that a prescription was ready for pickup but when my sick child and I arrived to pick them up we ended up sitting there waiting for around 40 mins just to leave with nothing. A quick stop to pick up a prescription for my dad. This location is a decent size. It does seem a little run down from past visits. It's located in a centralized shopping center with grocery stores and other services nearby. Along with a gas station, fast food and sit down restaurants. My main stop was the pharmacy at cvs. The pharmacy technicians are all hard workers who serve the community well. Everyone behind the counter is vital to this city and they were all assisting customers upon my visit. Helping those who need extra care just to make it through the day. I appreciate their attentive service. They are all kind souls. As we age we come to a respectful understanding and appreciation to one of our most important assets, our health. read more

I tried to call 5 times to get ahold of the pharmacy because they kept texting me to pick up my husband's prescription. No matter when I called, all I got was a recording and could not get to a live person. The reason I called is to cancel the prescription since my husband was in the hospital having surgery. Automated is fine, but a live person should be available. read more

A long wait in line, no one greeted me at all. another staff was hanging products in the shelf, she didn't acknowledge me either. Waited forever to be told they aren't a full service UPS drop off locations because they don't take unboxed packages. If I had an issue with my long wait and their inability to send my package back to Amazon I could speak to the manager. She referred me to a full service Ups on 47th st. Maybe you could post on your website that you don't take packages without boxes or labels. read more

Went in today to purchase some pain medicine. When I went to the cashier , she rang up my items . She told me to put in my email to receive a receipt in which it would arrive in 48 hours. When I got home I noticed that the store associate grabbed the wrong medicine. I went back in the store and explained to lybny what happen . She original told me I could us my phone number to exchange my item but then she said she needed the physical card because I paid with tap to pay. So I went all the way home and came back for the second time. I explained I read the return/exchange policy and she said it was different from store to store and up to manager discretion. I asked lybyn if I could speak with a manager and she advised me that there was no manager on duty. I asked then who's in charged. She used her finger to point back in forth between her and Abner . They both were very unhelpfuland gave me the run around when they knew injust went in there 10 minutes prior to purchase the pain medicine . ​The situation was not my fault. The store associate unlock the glass door where the pain medicine was and I pointed to which one I wanted. He told me I had to go to the counter and that he would bring it up there. He ended up grabbing the wrong one. When I came back for the second time because Abner said we had to have the card we paid with, lybyn became irritated because I explained that I paid tap to pay and that the numbers on the card would differ from tap to pay. She then told me I needed to go back home for the 3rd time because my card numbers didn't match and that I needed an ID. I explained that Abner said I only needed my physical card. A random customer used her ID for the refund. And as I was explaining to lybyn how the situation made me feel she laughed and smirked and said that was the policy. ​ read more

Tiffany and the young lady in blonde highlights working at the Pharmacy deserve to get fired, beyond unprofessional and strictly rude. Cannot assist any of the people coming in for their prescriptions and when asked questions disregard any importance for proper medical handling. This is what as a pharmacist you are taking on as a responsibility. As a manager of a department or business this is strictly a no go. Will be elevating this issue on to a higher level for importance because this is an issue if someone takes their medication improperly due to negligence by a pharmacist. read more

The worst CVS in Palmdale! couponers make the line extremely long with only one person working while the managers are talking in the corner. Miriam Guzman is the general manager... completely unprofessional at is a stuck up individual. I have heard from employees that several other workers have quit because of her! If i could give no stars that's what you'd get from me this is the absolute worst CVS ever!!!! My boyfriend is on blood thinners and they are keeping him alive because they are keeping his blood from clotting and killing him. He dropped his prescription off 6 days ago and it is STILL NOT DONE!!!!! They told him on Friday that they'd have it done on Monday which was yesterday. Thankfully they have him 3 emergency pills while waiting for the order to come in but here we are Tuesday at 1:39pm and he's STILL not gotten his prescription. He's now been sitting in store 40 min waiting for them to bottle and bag it. If you say something will be done Monday it should be done Monday. It's literally dirty when I shop here , the only reason why I shop here is because I pick up my medication but I might need to switch pharmacies because this place is unacceptable. I recently called to ask about a prescription for my child and the pharmacist who answered the phone was rude. I didn't even get to ask a second question regarding the prescription because she hung up on me! I waited over 20 minutes for this rude lady to answer and hang up within 3 minutes into talking to her! I was not about to wait another almost 30 minutes to get this rude lady back on the phone! Not happy! the Dentist said it would cost me $15, but when I get here it cost $20. But I normally go to Kaiser but not sure why the Dentist suggest I come here!!! Worst pharmacy in the AV! Recently switched away from Kaiser and was used to having "everything under one roof" model, in my mind the perfect model... I have a repeating monthly prescription and it's a monthly game with CVS to get my prescription. I have to take my prescription in at least 3 times and wait 2 weeks before it's filled.... then start over next month's cycle... This wouldn't be as bad of an issue but the staff is extremely difficult and unhelpful jot to mention rude. read more

One of the worst places to get perscriptions filled. I finally left there and went to Savon/Albertsons on tierra Subida. Difference as night and day. I used my insurance at CVS and was financially raked. I pay less at Savon with coupons than I paid with my insurance. Go figure. I was told they do not have enought staff at CVS and that is why the service is so horrible there. The people at Savon help me save on perscriptions without using my insurance, just my coupons from RX Saver or Good RX. I save alot by not using my insurance at Lockheed Martin, just coupons. I also don't have to deal with preauthorization crap with insurance company to get some meds filled. read more

CVS pharmacy #9634 in Palmdale CA discriminate against people who have Medi-Cal and it's all because of Morgan Chou the pharmacist, who is now working at CVS on 25st East #9634! Worst customer service ever! I been trying to get a prescription refilled for weeks and the racist pharmacist Morgan Chou at the pharmacy was so rude & disrespectful to me. Every time I called she had a horrible attitude. I even asked If could pay for my prescription out of pocket since there's an issue & she said if I can could afford to do that then I should be able to afford proper health insurance. I am 24 years old and recently lost my parents in a car accident due to a drunk driver New Year's Eve 2021. Due to my parents death I was removed from their insurance (proper insurance) and put it on to Medi Cal. A very unprofessional pharmacy. I would avoid at all cost. Rude pharmacist employees. I went in with my 68 year old father and mother to get their medicine I would say 12 people waiting to get their prescriptions. They said it will be another hour. We ended up leaving and came back in an hour and asked if the medicine was ready they said almost they where preparing it as we speak. They asked my father a question if he was allergic to penicillin he said yes. They asked him to give a description on how the reactions looks like. He said he doesn't remember he was a child when he had the reaction. The pharmacist responded rudely as if my father was holding back information. My father's medicine was in the pharmacist hands. I had to just bite my tongue and let the rude guy talk. It ended up being another hour and we only get the medicine after my father called his insurance for help on the situation. Shame shame cvs pharmacy. Shame on you. I will be calling the manager and headquarters and we did file a complaint with the insurance company. We were told to stay clear from the pharmacy.
