I had today the worse experiece with the guy at the cashier he was so rude , when we asked for help in how to use the coupons the he gets mad we said ee are asking for help if he works there supposed he has to know, he started to raise his voice we asked to talk with the manager he said he is the manager of the store, very sad for CVS with people like him as a worker there. read more

Pharmacy is understaffed. If you call to confirm prescription, the system prompts you to voicemail. Messages are not returned. When you try and use the automated system, it states that the prescription is in process endlessly. So, I decided to go to the pharmacy. There is a giant line. Ugh!! read more

I often hop into this CVS to pick up some makeup, over the counter medicine, greeting cards, that sort of thing. I am always warmly greeted and the staff there are so helpful if I can't find something. There is a fabulous cashier that always chats with me to ask how I've been and tells me stories about what his family is up to. He makes visiting this CVS a really fun experience. The one drawback is it seems this store is often out of stock of the cosmetic items I came in to purchase, so I knocked a star off for that reason. But it seems like they are starting to do better with stocking up! read more

The staff is great. I've been going to this CVS for 15 years and although it is very busy due primarily to the closing of Walgreens and others after the COVID years (I presume) The well trained pharmacy staff are fast and friendly. People complain about the line but before they finish their ranting they are called to the window. The incredible staff are problem solvers! The customer service is terrible. I went in for Tylenol, rang the button for assistance on the aisle, and had to ring it a few times again and no-one came by. There was only one person behind the counter. A manager was behind the counter and did not seem to care one bit that there were customers waiting. The man behind the counter said in a sing song manner that he would be right there with me but he was alone. This is a perfect example of big corporate greed where the customer does not mean anything and all that matters is the bottom line. Heaven forbid they have someone else in the store waiting on customers while one person behind the counter is checking people out. This is not brain surgery. I was sold MJ prescription would be ready on a certain day. On Friday I called to ask if it was ready I instead was told they don't have the medicine I would have to wait until Monday or Tuesday. So now I have to bother my doctor to resend the prescription to a CVS that has it . Whatever happened to responsible honest employees ??? This CVS sure is lacking. Does have some rude pharmacist . Speaking for the pharmacy this is the best cvs in Coachella valley. They have the busiest store therefore have no issues filling most common medications which isn't common at other cvs stores in the valley. Most pharmacy have limits on certain pain management meds which is a massive pain in the butt and I have never had any issues with them in this case and my meds are ready within 2hrs of being prescribed. Far cry from all other pharmacy I've used in the CV. The big tell as far as business is that they have upwards of 10-15 employees there all day compared to maybe 2 or 3 max at other pharmacies. They apps and friendliness is top notch not once ever had a single issue which is far from the norm. read more

I'm visiting from out of town. I came down with Covid, feel horrible. Waited half an hour for my meds at this pharmacy before I asked if they could deliver. They said " sure". So we went home. Later I called to see when the meds would arrive, them I'm told that these meds cannot be delivered. So now my 77 year old disabled husband is going back to the store to pick up my medication. Not acceptable. I did get some juice and kleenex before leaving, the lady at the front register, Thaisa, was much nicer than the people in the pharmacy! And, by the way, trying to get through to an actual person in the pharmacy when calling is almost impossible. read more

Ok. I had some serious questions where I wanted to speak with the pharmacist at this location. After going through all the automated receptionist questions and answers necessary to actually speak to a person, I was placed on hold for so long, I finally decided I would remain on hold and take the 15 minute drive to see this busy pharmacist in person. When I got there I was still on hold. I waited in line. I finally got to speak to a cashier, and she was able to answer my question without me even having to speak with the pharmacist. He was talking about something with someone, but they really didn't seem that busy. The whole time I was waiting in line, I could hear that same automated voice from my call, indicating that there was a call for the pharmacy. I said to the cashier "sounds like you'd got some calls coming in that aren't getting answered." Her response was "yeah... we're short staffed." That may be true, but they really didn't seem that busy. There were only a few people in line, and one call after another was being ignored. Here's an idea for the those guys who write the automated assistant software. Just be up front and save your customers some aggravation. Preface all the selection options with a message like this.... "It's really hard to get anyone to answer the phone at this CVS location. If you really need to speak with a real person, we suggest you come into our store and wait in line like everyone else who wants to talk with a real person. You can also fool around with our automated assistant, and it's possible, if you dink around long enough, that it will provide you with an answer to your questions. Alternatively, you can try a different company that actually cares." read more

I was shocked when I saw the price of 2 medications with insurance so I drove home to get a Rx discount card provided by my employer. I provided it to be applied to the 2 meds. They girl comes back after some time and tells me the discount card cannot be used with insurance. She comes back 1 minute later and tells me the price will be exactly the same. It was clear she never applied the discount card to save me money on my prescriptions. Next time I will take my business elsewhere. read more

CVS takes its customers for granted. Many different issues, but in this particular case drove 45 minutes for a appointment that I had to get the new Covid vaccination. Get out there. They said they don't have anymore even with an appointment. No apologies just a heck with you attitude. Tried calling the pharmacy multiple times to see if my perception was ready before I went to pick it up. No one picked up phone. Management is extremely rude when answering the phone at the main store. It's absolutely ridiculous that being talked to so rudely for such a simple question. If the pharmacy is short staffed, why is there no push to hire help on the weekends. This is unacceptable for the medical field and any manager to think this acceptable. read more

Because of my insurance, I have to use CVS, or else I wouldn't go here. Arrived today (Saturday) and the pharmacy was closed. No signs anywhere except one saying it is open from 9-6pm, and a small sign saying their lunch break is from 11:30-12:00. So I asked an employee who didn't even look up, and very grumpily informed me they are on lunch until 2pm. Thankfully it was just a few minutes away so I waited. Then when I went to check out with a few items that I picked up from the store, the clerk was on the phone and gruffly told me to use the self check-out. So sorry to interrupt your phone call- so silly for me to think you would help me. This place is not pleasant on a good day and really needs a remodel. But today was especially bad. read more

If waiting in very long lines to obtain your prescriptions during the new limited hours is your idea of a good time, this is the store for you. The pharmacy is a joke!! My daughter had a 12:15 vaccine appointment. We were told to standby for a few minutes and to wait for the pharmacist. We stood there for 20 minutes, waiting patiently. They were very busy. I noticed the pharmacist left and figured he'd gone to the bathroom...whatever. Turns out there is a vaccine area next to the pharmacy where no one directed us to. I stood there for a whole 30 minutes until one of the PT told me to "wait over there". I walked over and people with later appointments were being helped. I understand they were pretty busy. But if they run this place consistently there shouldn't be any problems. They didn't care about my time and this is what really is upsetting. read more

I tried calling their number and opting out of all calls - didn't work They also, in their pointless robocall to me. Give you no ability to stop calls. This could be a really good store, well stocked and conveniently located, But Never Any shopping carts and No shopping baskets. WTF? Also only one or two employees working the store, and pharmacy closes up for lunch 12:30-1p but doesn't really open back up till sometime after 1p when the pharmacy employees trickle back in. I was promised 3 times of availability before they got it right. Now, living in Lake Tahoe, my local pharmacy can't get thus CVS to answer its phone nor respond to repeated fax attempts. there's been a change t this pharmacy. a very frendly manager has been replaced by a rude ne person named Phan who took pleasure in refusing to help me spoken so loud that those in line heard hun his main goal was humiliating me for complaining about my diabetic necessities (my meter sensors) which have been transferredd to a cvs store 19 miles away. i headed for the door in tears where a customer suggested i report him to cvs corporate,, which i did, i wil now file a formal complaint to a state governing board. read more

I've been coming here for several years now and Manny couldn't be more polite and sincerely kind. He always greets you on the way in and makes you feel like an old time friend when he is cashing you out. Beyond helpful. While he is being pulled in different directions, he manages to keep his cool and his nice demeanor. It would be nice to see these guys get more staff and help. praying people want to start working again. read more

This is for the pharmacy technician who was so kind to me. I don't use CVS, I use Rite Aid. I was at CVS picking up a prescription for my father who is becoming very disabled with dementia and unable to do things for himself anymore. When I went to pick up the prescription,the pharmacy tech was so kind. He knew my dad, he asked about him, asked what was going on (why he wasn't there) how he was doing . He just was very caring and concerned. When you have difficulties with a loved one it's nice that people remember your loved one - especially how they used to be. This is one of the worst-run pharmacies I've ever been to. They simply do not have enough staff to handle the volume of prescriptions. I overheard that one of their pharmacists quit, and they haven't replaced the person. It takes forever to get prescriptions refilled. Don't even bother trying to call them - you will be on hold forever. I finally moved all of our prescriptions over to the CVS at 50th & Jefferson in Indio - what a world of difference!! read more
