I was in dire need of my medication, which keeps me alive and well. I went to pick up my medication, they were out, but Jose told us to go to the CVS across town, which did have my medication, I went there and was told in a very loud and blunt voice this CVS doesn't take my insurance and will have to pay out of pocket and would have to get my medication at that location from now on...HUH? I politely said I was sent here from CVS on Washington Street in Palm Desert, they called and verified, in the meantime, Iam told my medication is back in at my regular CVS, I can pick it up. I go back, after a few hours to let them fill it, the Pharmacist comes out and tells me, no, we don't have your medication and it might take over a month to get this back in. Frustrated and upset, I leave, no sense in arguing, I notice that goes on when Iam in line. This type of non-service is unacceptable. There was no apology, no trying to figure out a way to get this medication I desperately needed. This CVS Pharmacy should ashamed of themselves, they are in the patient and customer service business. I have been in customer service Management in a retail environment for over 30 years and would never ever treat my customers this way. They should try following the Golden Rule...they forgot who the boss really was. read more

Maybe I go at the wrong times to pick up my medications, but the last few times, when alerted that they are ready I go to pick up the medications and they aren't ready. Once there I'm told it would be another 10-15 mins, but ends up being 45 mins. I'm sure the pharmacy staff is busy during this season and they are doing there best. Very poor customer service in pharmacy. No follow up when they promise they will. Just never know if prescription will be filled or if proper amounts of a rx will be dispensed. If I could I would stop using them but they are very close and open 24x7. They are hit and miss on auto refills at best. I went in here in the early morning to get a flu shot. I was met by a lovely young woman by the name of VY, who was absolutely lovely. Also there was a young man named Connor that worked in the store that morning and he was very gracious at check out. I can't say enough about the pharmacy; warm and friendly service. I waited 30 minutes for a bottle because the only worker was at the front register and "couldn't leave it unattended" and they locked up the bathroom because they were to lazy to have to clean it during the night and after having a double Glenlivet and a beer, I really had to go. This CVS Pharmacy is amazing. They actually answer the phone promptly when you call. They wait on you when you go. They make it easy for out-of-towners (even out-of-staters) to renew prescriptions with them. They don't hassle you with more excessive than usual insurance co-pays. I don't know what pharmacist the person saw who rated them a "one" instead of a "five" and said that "the pharmacist... sucks..." It certainly was not my experience. Mine was the opposite. In 2021/2022 as a Black woman my Sister and I were followed/watched while we were in this store!!! I thought we/society were pass this but apparently not. This CVS NEEDS A Deep Cleaning !!!!!!!! !The floors are atrocious. The products on the shelves have so much dust on them, I didn't even want to buy them. Examples are CVS brand Flavor Chews Antacid. Each shelve should be wiped down every so oven. Another thing, I've been in other CVS'S in other States, and around Calif. When a woman has to urinate, some very quickly, WHY OH WHY IS THE DOOR TO THE RESTROOM LOCKED ? Pretty bad when you do get in and you have to use the toilet fast, but it's not been flushed or cleaned from the previous user. Come on ladies do you leave your home bathroom like This? Not my favorite CVS.. it's not all that clean. Trying to find what you're looking for is difficult due to poor signage. It's tough to find an employee to help you. I do appreciate that they always remind me to punch in my number for rewards. And although it's not the stores fault, there are a lot of seedy pedestrians that gather outside of this location. Went to pick up a prescription after 730 PM, there were 3 people behind the counter, 1 employee was helping the only client there at time, the other 2 employees were engaged in things to do, but not 1 of them could acknowledge my presence or at least let me know they ll be with me in a minute. I didn't even get so much as a glance. I used to stop by for the convienent groceries as well as get all our families' prescriprions here........ no more. I never write reviews I get it people have bad days but today was just awful. This review is for the pharmacy only. The pharmacist was rude to my friend once a few months ago, ok fine they are busy it happens but today was just uncalled for. My urgent care sent over a prescription to the CVS here and I went in to pick it up. The male pharmacist asked for my insurance and then stated he would have to enter it all since I hadn't been there and proceeded to roll his eyes and storm off. He says he can't find it after 15 min. Fine there's a line he is flustered so I say I'll pay the cost since it was a generic prescription. He then proceeds to say as he walks away "We don't even have this f***ing antibiotic loud enough for everyone in line to hear. I was shocked and appalled, I asked him to send my prescription elsewhere. I will never be back after being treated so poorly. So sad I can shake it off but a lot of elderly come here and don't deserve to be treated like that. read more

I'm retired and traveling in an RV out west so I go to different pharmacies in different states but I always use the preferred pharmacies in my part D plan. CVS has been filling one of my medications for over 2 years but when I called to have it refilled they told me it wasn't in my profile. When I told them that I had been getting refills for 2 years they acted like it wasn't possible. Got that corrected and then when they tried to fill it they said my part D provider denied it. Called Wellcare and they said it was covered, so I called CVS back and told them this and they again said it was not. So.....back and forth with CVS and Wellcare until CVS realized they used the wrong product code and finally filled my prescription. I can't find the words to properly express how incompetent these people are. I won't use them again. read more

The store personnel are very nice. The pharmacy? AVOID AT ALL COST! Their staff are the most ill mannered, rude individuals I've ever encountered. They have messed up EVERY prescription I've submitted (I only use them when the La Quinta store is out of my medication) and they are frustrating! One person tells you one thing on the phone...then you get there and it's completely the opposite! This last time they shorted me on my migraine medication. I called, THOUGHT I had straightened it out over the phone, then go in and they CHARGE ME AGAIN! Stating they had to "transfer my original prescription from the La Quinta store". Uh, you're telling me there's a TRANSFER FEE?? It's bullshit. I'm finally writing corporate. Need toothpaste late at night but don't want to venture into 7/11? By all means, risk your life at 7/11 or go to the Walgreens across the street. I'm on a weekend get away and I forgot toothpaste! This place is open 24 hours but the guy who's manning the counter on night shift needs an attitude adjustment . Marie and I visited this CVS while on vacation - I ran out of meds and by the time we got back from doing the tourist thingy, the drug stores close to our hotel were already closed. I called the pharmacy and asked them to fill my scripts; the woman who answered said they'd be ready in a half hour. But.... when we arrived 45 minutes later they hadn't been filled yet. Somehow our request got lost during shift change and the midnight pharmacist didn't realize we were coming to pick it up that same night. This is the only pharmacy I found near me that is 24 hour. I am so happy I found it. I was in dire need of a pharmacy at 3 am because I had to take my son to the ER due to a high fever. The pharmacy was very friendly and personable. It took 10 minutes to fill 3 prescriptions. And she explained how and when to use each medication very clearly. read more

Four hours later when I came to the store the very rude pharmacist said it would be another half hour when there was not even a line here. I've been coming here for years but today this place really pissed me off. Rachel, works in the pharmacy and has always been a sweet heart whenever I come in, however the pharmacist, a middle aged Asian American man really pissed me off when he refused to fill my prescription. I'm an early twenties adult who was trying to fill ADD meds and because my doctor was from Irvine, he decided to not only ignore me completely but he chose to get pissed off at poor Rachel. If your out of the meds fine, but don't get upset with your coworker about my issue and completely ignore me like your above my time. Seriously it pisses me off when these pharmacists don't give you the time of day, if you think your day is to busy to talk to me then go get a job flipping burgers at McDonald's where nobody will talk to you. My day is just as busy as yours buddy and not helping me put me back 30 minuets. Btw the rest of the staff has always been very nice and the store would get a 5 star review if not for the pharmacist. My babygirl was sick with a cough so I needed help with an OTC medication and one of the pharmacists did a great job helping me choose the right medicine. Overall a great experience. Friendly pharmacy and store staff. The only bad part of my experience was having to see a woman harass the pharmacy and store staff. As well as making a huge scene in front of a lot of other customers and harassing them as well. They handled the situation professionally so that was a bonus! Will definitely be returning!! read more

There is a gentleman named Joe who claims to be the supervisor is very unprofessional, unfriendly with a dry personality, and he does not give customers a pleasant visit to this store. I was shopping there again last night which I keep telling myself not to go there when another associate named Sandra was ringing my items up was giving me a hard time not honoring their print out coupon that I handed her. The coupon was for that brand of the item I was purchasing and Sandra did not want to honor it. I asked her for her manager, she called Joe to come. Joe was talking to my husband and I when Sandra was making fun of us laughing at us. Joe was very rude and backed Sandra up that she was not laughing. This man named Joe has always been very rude and unprofessional since a year ago I have been going to CVS store. I finally got tired of his attitude and rudeness and decided to file a compliant with this site to help improve this situation. This store is close to my home and I don't want to have to drive far to go to another store just to avoid this man Joe with his unpleasant attitude and services to the customers.
