The staff is still very friendly, courteous and helpful; however, over the years their produce is hit and miss with regard to offering FRESH vegetables. I couldn't tell you how many times I purchased produce and had it going bad in just a couple of days, and had to return it. They are notorious for discontinuing great products and claiming they don't sell enough, but they have a wide variety of weird food that never gets discontinued and items I would never buy. Their meat prices are outrageous! Now, I must say their buy one, get one deals are wonderful! They have a great deli. The seafood department is just ok. My husband and I have been to many different Publix locations, which by far, is way better than the one at the Winter Springs Town Center. Oh, by the way, the name town center is a joke! It's just a glorified shopping center and the parking is atrocious! This location is very convenient for us as we are only about two and a half miles away. We'll stop in for some bread, milk, eggs, check out the bogos, but here is a good example of their outrageous meat prices. Both Publix and Aldi's sell Perdu ground chicken. Same weight, same packaging, but Publix sells it at a much higher price than Aldi's! The same goes for many other items that Publix sells, and Aldi beats their price. At Publix, their ground chuck is anywhere from $5 a pound and up. At The Fresh Market at Tuskawilla Rd and Red Bug Lake Rd, you can buy great ground chuck EVERY Tuesday for $3.99 a pound. You can also buy beautiful chicken breast every Tuesday for $3.99 a pound. Well, I could go on and on so I'll end it here. Not all Publix stores are great.

Well, for the most part, yes; however, there are good Publix stores, great Publix stores and not so good Publix stores. We have shopped at many. One of our favorite Publix locations is this one on Winter Springs Blvd. in Oviedo. They are one of the smaller, quaint stores, but they are one of the best! They usually have everything I'm looking for and their produce doesn't rot in 2 days after getting it home. All of the Publix stores has impeccable customer service. They have great BOGO deals! Their stores are always clean and neat. When I mentioned that some locations are not so good is because their buyers of produce is purchasing old produce, which rots after one or two days after getting it home. The other problem I have is they discontinue products that are commonly used, while still stocking products that I can't imagine people even buying! There's no rhyme or reason!

My doctor sent my prescription in around 10:00 a.m. I called Walgreens around 3:00 p.m. wanting to know the status. I was told that one prescription was ready but the other they had to order because they were out of stock. Was told they would receive it the next day. Friday - I call the pharmacy around 11:00 a.m. wanting to know the status of my prescription. I was told that they were still unloading and to call back after 2:00 p.m. I call and am now told that my prescription is no longer manufactured. Then how was it ordered the day prior? Was told they would call my doctor for a new prescription and that they would call me back. Surprisingly, I do receive a return phone call. I was told that they could not get a hold of my doctor, but that another Walgreens up the road had the medicine in stock. Obviously, I was very frustrated as it would have been nice to know that prior to waiting over 36 hours for my prescription to be filled. It's not like I was refilling a prescription. It was a prescription issued because I was sick. I think this may be my first 1 star review.

In fairness, it appears that there are several reviews related to the Pharmacy itself - which I don;t technically use the pharmacy.....but a s a quick stop for essentials, OTC medicines and others, I have been pretty happy here. It is reasonable easy to get into and out of the parking lot, there are usually plenty of spaces available and I have not really had to wait in any unreasonable lines (Even at Christmas time it was just a few folks at the line)/ I can;t speak of the Pharmacy, but as far as the store is concerned,d its a good store for folks in the area

The app told me that my prescription was ready for refill today, on the ninth. So I called it in. I wanted to make sure it could be done today, so I called; they told me that it WAS NOT refillable today, despite the app's information. This, obviously, makes me confused, and actually contradicts the refills I previously received of this prescription (that is necessary, mind you). The worst part is, we have no way of knowing it's not refillable unless you call ahead (you shouldn't have to, that's the purpose of the app), or if you drive to the CVS, just for them to tell you that you drove there to do nothing but waste your time. Be better. 4/10/23 UPDATE: They're withholding my medication because of "pharmacist discretion"; this means that, despite needing my medication, the lead pharmacist will not give it to me. I have evidence that I am able to pick up my prescription three days in advance, which is part of a 28 day policy. The lead pharmacist has decided that he does NOT have to follow this policy, and can give me MY MEDICINE as he sees fit. I have no say in the matter, and when I spoke to another pharmacist on the phone, she simply said she "won't argue with me". Luckily for her, I can argue all day. YOU do not have the right to tell me what medications I do and do not need. You have no right to change the rules as you see fit, screwing over anyone who needs medication, not just me. You have NO RIGHT to say you "don't feel like arguing with me" because you KNOW you are in the wrong. I'll attach the photo evidence. Do not waste your time with pharmacists that would rather stroke their own ego than help the community.
