The pharmacy at this store is completely unprofessional, especially the pharmacist Akram Mussoud who feels like he can over ride doctors orders and decide how drugs should be taken. I have been getting a medication for 6 months since it was perscribed in March. Every month he gave me 4 one dose viles to inject myself. The vile is 1ml, what one dose means is that you take your dose, whether it be .5 or .75 and you get rid of the rest. Last month Aug, my doctor called in more refills as he usually does after every visit. The pharmacist filled it even though I had refills left on my previous script. When I pointed that out to them, they exchanged it, then told me that they could only fill it one more time before it would expire. Then they would fill my new script beginning in Sept, which had only 4 refills. I informed him that my next doctor's visit would be in Febuary, and that it wouldn't be enough to last till my next visit. I was almost sure that my Doctor had written another script in between the one in March and the one in Aug. I was getting comprehensive blood work done before my next visit to see how the drug was working. When I got home I found a copy of a script my doctor had written in May, I went back to the store to show Akram Masoud the copy and he said he never recieved it. I checked out the CVS app on my phone and sure enough it was there. So when it was time to refill it again, he informed me that he had already written as many as he could with the March script, so he was going to fill it with the script from Aug. I gave him the script number of the one that was in the system from May and all of a sudden he found it. So since he felt shamed because he screwed up, he decided on his own that he was going to change the way he was going to dispense it to me. Now he said that he would give me 3 viles for every month, that I should use the .75 out of each of the 3 viles then for my fourth dose, I should fish out the .25 of each of the previous 3 viles to make one dose. He said that he had been giving it to me wrong in the past and this is the way it was going to be from now on. I told him that that wasn't the way my Doctor explained it to me. And he literally said he didn't care what my doctor said, this is the way it was gonna be. I told him I wanted to rest of my script to tranfered to Walgreen. He told me that they had to call him. When I explained to the pharmacist at Walgreens what had transpired. It was her that explained to me the one dose concept. She said those viles were not meant for multiple doses, that you took out you dose and threw out the rest since you had alread poked a hole in it. But Akram Masoud was even more vindictive than that, he had given me 9 viles and wrote in script app that he had dispense a three month supply. So he went from 4 viles a month to 3 viles a month and I could do nothing about it, since I would not be able to fill it until the 3 months was up. So if this is the kind of service that you are looking for, a pharmacist that is such an Ego maniac that he tries to screw you over because you pointed out a mistake to him, then feel free to visit this sadistic pharmacist and take your chances. When I went back and confronted him, he became very subdued then call the store manager so she can hear my frustration and the second I cursed he told me I could not come back to the store anymore. When I asked about my other scripts that I had there he hid behind his little monitor and would not talk to me, after he had been so rude in the past. Now he wanted to play the victim. What a horrible experience to have someone control your medication on you like that, just becasue they can't admit their mistakes. read more
