Lousy attitudes on all workers, lately, except for pharmacy area - they are superb! The updated app is cumbersome and not user friendly! It takes 4 steps to just sign in! My doctor said that they were extremely rude and my doctor was shocked. My doctor said they will not doing business with this Pharmacy anymore. I have been faithful...for years...to CVS. As I was reading my kids their bed time story, I was…read morethinking...why...why CVS for so very long? Wall-to-wall carpet. Seems odd but that is the answer, friend. Every CVS that I walk into is carpeted. And quiet. And soothing. Odd because I can't stand wall-to-wall in my own home. Our hardwoods are torn to shreds but I will not staple down the poly fibers. But I think about other pharmacies and they all pretty much have the shiny tile squares that clickety-clack when you walk on them. Never knowing when they've been last polished, you gotta be careful your leather botton kicks don't slip. But CVS? No worries. Your heels are safely cradled in the soft carpet caress. And shiny tile squares remind me of cafeterias and hospitals...and...um...not so soothing thoughts. I especially like this location. They have a drive-up pharmacy and a tricked out photo lab with multiple scanners and one hour photo service. The store is always well-stocked, clean and neat. The in-store staff is terrific both at the front and at the pharmacy. Up front, they launch a code red type announcement if there are more than two people in line. Yeah - you know my time is valuable. Nice. The pharmacy staff churns out the prescriptions in record time and the actual pharmacist will walk out to help out with medicinal inquiries. The pharmacy calls now get routed to a call center, not the actual pharmacy. This annoys me because sometimes I want to talk to one of the pharmacists that I know. Knocks the star down a notch from being the total five star pharmacy wonder. The parking is easy. Location is convenient. Staff friendly. Carpet on the floor. Guess that covers it!

(negative thankfully) Today we stopped in to purchase a birthday card and I see they have added quite a few new gift cards to their offerings. I am particularly pleased to see they offer Steam gift cards (a gaming website) as this is a favorite of one of my family members and an expense they don't often treat themselves to, so it makes a perfect gift! There is a USAA cash machine right inside the door and they sell a few local newspapers too. I've also used their on-line photo service to order prints and gone to the store to pick them up, ready same day. They usually have what we are looking for and I even found some coloring books here when I was in need. I am signed up for their rewards program which saves a few bucks based on purchases plus they give coupons at checkout. Conveniently located, and well stocked.

The name has changed slightly to "Sunny Hill," although you can see part of the old sign under the new sign. The first reviewer, "DTronic" (awesome username, BTW), pretty much hit the nail on the head when he described this place as a mecca for lottery addicts. As if to drive the point home, the sign above the door for Sunny Hill has the words, "Lottery Agent" in huge letters, and the words "Convenience Store" in much smaller letters. Coincidentally, when I stopped here today (it had probably been over a decade since I set foot in the store), the store saw heavy customer traffic, probably in large part due to a $1.6 BILLION jackpot in Mega Millions, and a hefty $620 million Powerball jackpot. While I rarely play the lottery, I couldn't resist due to the hype, so I bought one quick-pick ticket for each game. The customer in front of me joked and said, "Don't bother buying a ticket - I just bought the winning one." As a convenience store, it's pretty dingy and time-worn, further hampered by limited selection of product, no decent coffee setup and no public bathroom. At least there's adequate parking, however. Oh, and you read it here first: If I hit the $1.6 billion jackpot, one of the things I'll do with the money is give whoever owns this rundown convenience store money for a major renovation (I mean, c'mon, the floor tiles look like they've been around since Reagan was president). Or maybe I'll buy the store and send the lottery addicts to a 12-step program.
