I went to Vincent's Pharmacy with GRANDMA in the 1970's when it was up in the building across the street from Rockville General Hospital. I went to was a patron when it moved to the strip mall down in back of where the old Zahner's used to be.... My mother used them all her life and they saved her from being extorted by one of her live in aides with me.... then they move and new ownership comes in and wants to utterly ruin their relationship with the long-term customers like I am who only owes 6 dollars and needs medication for a yeast infection that can be paid within two weeks, they can't give me my medication even though I've been paying my bill and have payment on file with them. I'm not one of those who use them wrack the bill up and then move onto other places either.... I cared about my relationship and loyalty to them and they snub me. Well forget them....I guess I'm going to have a yeast infection for two weeks..... these younger people don't know what loyalty of a customer truly is. I'm furious. I wish John didn't sell he cared about the person not the pocketbook when it concerned the health of a person! It's not like a yeast infection medication is a controlled substance either. WTF really? My five star rating just went down to two to one stars with this place. These new owners had better pray to GOD they never get sick when they are older and are denied basic healthcare services. The only out of line thing I did was drop the F bomb a couple times. I got the yeast infection because I was on the antibiotics. Now see after hours nurse called me back calling office tomorrow seeing what they can do and then First Choice does have a pharmacy, so I'll take my business there... I'm done. I do NOT recommend Rockville Pharmacy to anyone at this point. They have changed and do not care about those in the community who are on fixed incomes anymore. We have a lot who are. First Choice Healthcare Centers has always been good to us and I go to them for everything. They just started this pharmacy so I'm going to call them and see about rolling everything including my daughter's things over. Want to know what the problem is? Yeast Infection with an open wound. I have a boil that just burst and another one that will be soon on my inner thigh. I have to be very careful the yeast doesn't get into the bloodstream through this open wound. Upon giving him my name for a pickup, it was obvious the effort to check the knee high bin was too great. Minutes later he returns, sliding me a number on a piece of paper like some bizarre negotiation, "That's what this is going to cost you". the number was about 10 times higher than the generic, so I inquired about that, seeing as how I received a call from that very pharmacy telling me my generic prescription was partially filled and will be ready the next day. "we don't get that" he replied. "you don't get that now, or wont be getting that again?" I asked. His response obviously annoyed "we don't get that". Even though the person who called told me they did, and the pharmacist I spoke with previously told me they could get it with a days notice. I inquired about the partial fill the other pharmacist offered. Clip on said, "its going to take at least 10 minutes" . Sure, Ill wait. You better believe i stared at him the entire time. Upon his return with my partial fill, I asked him what I can do differently to better prepare before arrival to pick up my prescription. "nothing" he stated, "there is nothing you can do", "People chase this (eyeing me with a disgusted look)" He was implying that I was somehow abusing my prescription and he was on to me. "you can call and we'll have it and some other person chasing this will take it before you can get it". I let him know it was a pleasure speaking with him, he didn't feel the same. Previously I've struggled with this Pharmacy filling prescriptions where they've blamed my carrier (who had the error log and it was in fact on Nutmeg's side) and provided me false information "your insurance will not cover generic, only name brand" all due to high staff turn over and improper supervision and training. It's unfortunate, as in my household there are (sadly) 3 people requiring medications both regularly and ad-hoc. We would much rather support a smaller business than throw money at CVS but with this treatment, why would I return? Hell, I can fill this at Costco , munch on a $1.50 hotdog and pick up a new flatscreen. Do better Nutmeg, your clientele is aging out and you should be kind and unassuming to all your customers. To Clip-on, I hope you cry into the day old lo-mien you eat for dinner. Other people aren't the reason you are lonely.

I waited 30 minutes while she was making a call to see if I could get a refill. The 16 year old intern did a way better job than her. The intern told me I could have one pill to last me until tomorrow when I could pick up my entire prescription since I needed to go to work. Why make me wait 30 minutes only to tell me I can't give you one pill. I have to bring in the prescription. Then she walked away and helped the next customer. I HAD BEEN WAITING 30 MINUTES!!! Unreal.
