Needed special prescription they had and held it for insurance payment over weekend pharmacy staff great and patient

My partner and I had previously went to Walgreens on NASA (weird interaction and they were unhelpful) and we had a not so good experience there, so we decided to go this CVS and it was a great decision ! My partner needed needles (for prescribed medicine) and they were honestly more than eager to help. They asked if we had a prescription there and we answered no because it's originally from Walgreens, but he asked to see the prescription just to prove why we needed them (which we had). Everything was smooth sailing after that. If we happen to be near this location again I would 100% go again. The last few times I have came to this pharmacy. A young woman name of Brooke has served me and if I could give her 10 star review, I would she is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond Brooke works in the pharmacy department and she always serves her customers with a smile and is very kind. She is definitely an asset to CVS. The poor reviews of this pharmacy are completely merited. Without exception, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I go to pick up a prescription there's and issue. EVERY TIME. 1. They're out. 2. They need doctor's authorization (even though my Doctor prescribed it and I've taken it for years). 3. They have no record of the doctor giving prescription. I could keep going. And going. Unfortunately I will be forced to take my business elsewhere. It's too much of a monumental waste of time. Do yourself a favor and AVOID!! read more

CVS at this location is ruse and refuses to follow Doctors orders. The Parmacist Mina, a manager decides to override a physician's orders instead of following them as they were trained to do. He should become a Doctor if he wants to determine what and when a patient needs medication. Very poor service 0 stars. Steer clear, they won't even answer the phone. read more

It's CVS!! Needed some first aid on this trip, knew where to go as cvs keeps a pretty std layout , in and out process. Plenty of staff on hand including pharmacy so everything I expected in a cvs. Forgot my card but phone number got me credit and I was in and out quick and bleeding was contained . Dirty sales floor. Night manager does not know basic functions of operations. Photo associate is difficult to work with and doesn't know how to handle mildly difficult situation and takes it too personal when he makes a mistake. There's other cvs or walgreen options nearby to get the expected service needed. read more

Closed earlier than posted time! Needed medication late at night. Internet searched all stores nearby. This CVS location was closest, & said open till 12 midnight. One of the last stores in Clear Lake open till midnight anymore. I hurried & drove 4 miles, arrived at 11:50, doors were locked, but all lights were on inside. Another customer and I knocked on the door for a minute, & waited about 5 minutes. No one came to the door or acknowledged us. Unable to get any medicine tonight because I guess their manager wanted to go home early? Poor customer service to close & lock doors before posted time. read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER! Arrived here at 3:30pm with prescription in hand and pharmacist said "Your prescriptions will be ready in a few hours, after 6pm" The sign at the pharmacy said the pharmacy closes at 8pm. Arrived at 6pm and was told the pharmacy closed at 4pm... WHAT? So now having to drive an hour away to the Pearland CVS with my screaming, crying, miserable baby who has a fever because they refuse to transfer the script to my local Walgreens. This is ridiculous. Why did they say it would be ready in a few hours if the pharmacy was closing in 30 minutes? Why does the sign at the pharmacy say it closes at 8pm? The pharmacist at CVS Pearland was rude too. I'm here at the very moment collecting my prescription. There's a lady here solo and she's doing an absolutely amazing job managing the window and desk, all while being so sweet and nice. This has definitely become the absolute worst pharmacy on this side of town. They truly could care less about their customers/patients. If you call in a prescription at 10 a.m. expect to get it the following day. I will never ever use this pharmacy ever again. The staff here is awesome. The people at the checkout are always friendly and do what they can to lessen your wait time. I've seen the manager come up and open up a register when the lines were getting long! The drugstore prices for toiletries, etc. are a little higher than other stores, but I will often come here anyway for the convenience. Plus the coupons you get on receipts help out a lot! read more

The best thing about this CVS is location. Right across from Johnson Space Center and adjacent to the Nassau Bay community. Always on the way to or from something makes it convenient to grab what you need. We use this for our routine prescription pick up. The pharmacy has long hours making it great to pick something up after going out to eat for instance. Never an issue with placing or getting a script back. Also great for photo printing. Had a need once for an 8x10 and wanted it by that evening. One hour turnaround and it was there for a great price. Great selection of greeting cards plus all the usual drug store stuff. Seems like a high turnover of staff (at the front, not the pharmacy). Sometimes I've found them inattentive when I needed help. Nothing above and beyond here, but no hesitation to use this store for my convenient needs! read more

After not getting the phone answered at the location on Bay Area for 16 minutes and after calling back again, I called and was helped in less than 5 minutes with kind service and prescriptions ready in less than an hour! This CVS is so wonderful. Over the last year I've been dealing with some pretty serious illness and unfortunately have become quite a regular visitor to their pharmacy. The pharmacy department here is full of the greatest people on the earth. I seriously mean it! The service is top notch and I really do know from my own experience that everyone here really does care about their customers. They have gone above and beyond in so many ways for me on numerous occasions and I seriously will never go anywhere else! Scheduled a COVID PCR lab test for a foreign trip. I needed the test to be within 72 hours of my flight but didn't receive the CVS results until 75 hours after my test. I imagine the fault was with Quest Diagnostics and not with CVS but I would definitely recommend going somewhere else if you need results within the 72 hour window. read more

This is my CVS store and it totally rocks. They always fill my prescriptions in about 15 minutes and they stock all the stuff I use. Granted, things like toilet paper and cat litter are more expensive at CVS than they are at the grocery store but I like to think of the price tag as a convenience fee. CVS is closer than Kroger or HEB and quicker as well. When I'm in a hurry I love that I can pop in and pick up any essentials. This CVS is also the only drug store in the area that sells the Hair, Skin, and Nail vitamins that I love so much. I can't take those one a days because they make me sick and the Hair, Skin, and Nail ones have the added bonus of making me extra beautiful. What's not to love about that? Buy them in the CVS brand and save a few bucks. I buy all of the CVS brand meds and vitamins. read more

Terrible service by the pharmacy manager. I have been getting prescriptions filled here for a couple of years. RX was called in by doctor. I called to check on it's progress an hour after the antibiotic had been called in. I was told the prescription wouldn't be ready for another hour and a half. I explained the timing would not be possible as my kids would be in bed at that point. I, as a single parent, cannot leave to go pick up the medicine and that would mean my child with terrible ear infection would go to sleep without the necessary antibiotic. This CVS store is where I go for all my drug-store needs. It's convenient, which is why I come to it, however it sometimes isn't as clean as other locations. The photo department is just okay, I would take any of your photo needs elsewhere. Sign up for the CVS card and emails and you can save a lot. Scan you card at the kiosk when you walk in and it will print your coupons on the spot. They also have a RedBox at this location! read more

Well, they are open 24 hrs so I've been forced to go in here... The front cashier is always rude! Always! Beatriz is her name and she is one of the rudest cashiers I've ever encountered and I shop a lot :-) I also don't expect cashiers to be super friendly as they have a long day with lots of customer service to perform. I've been a customer of CVS pharmacy over 20 yrs. I particularly liked this store, the previous staff, and location (right by my home) No major issues until recent. A month ago My Lyme Dr had written for a 3 month antibiotic script just for these type of occurrences but when I called they said It was never entered into system & they no longer had my script (gone? Thrown away?) stated the pharmacy is going thru "a major overhaul" No apology no offer to contact my Dr for copy or call in... antibiotics are literally a life saver for someone with Lyme disease! Unacceptable! Than last night (close to closing time) my scripts from my Lyme disease Dr. were turned away (my same meds I've had filled 5+ yrs here) I was told to take them closer to my Dr office in Houston that my Dr had to be in a 3-6 mile radius. What...Are you kidding me...?? Now stating they were just audited and making policy changes. Im left shocked again! As a result of their new pharmacist & staff changes, IMHO This CVS store has now become incompetent, lacks empathy, professional judgement and integrity! I have never been to a pharmacy where the pharmacist and the staff members are so unhelpful. You would think at some point after a month of trying to get my daughter's much-needed prescription they would be a little more helpful in trying to assist the patient. It's constantly back-and-forth back-and-forth back-and-forth with these people. I am about fed up. Then I get to the pharmacy yesterday one hour before they close and the pharmacist tells me that i'm going to have to wait until tomorrow because she has a big order going out and doesn't have time to help me. Reminder I have already been in this CVS four times for the same medication. The first time they didn't have it so they had to order it then when it came in I went to pick up and they tell me I have to wait to get preauthorization. Once the pre auth was approved I go to pick up and they tell me it is 200+ dollars. So I bring a coupon that's when she tells me she doesn't have time. So I go today to pick up the medication and she tells me it's 150+ dollars even with the coupon. Obviously I am not going to pay $150 for a medication. That is insane!! So I go online and I find another manufacturer coupon through the drug website and with that coupon my max out-of-pocket would be $25. WOW these people could care less about helping anyone. I work in a medical facility and I go above and beyond to help all patients as much as I possibly can even if I have to go out of my way or take an extra step to help a patient. The employees at this CVS are RUDE and always make you feel as if you are an inconvenience. If you ask a question they always answer with a smart remark or as if your interrupting them. A few weeks ago one of the guys in there said he would hold my RX for me for 1 day since it would be valid the very next day when one of the Staff members yelled across the Pharmacy "oh so we are holding prescriptions now" I told the young man not to worry about holding it because I didn't want to get him in any trouble. If you have family members who go to this pharmacy please keep an eye on their prescriptions. Always check for coupons because these heartless Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs don't care and they will take you for your last dime and not blink an eye. They don't care if you are an elder person living on social security with limited funds and barely enough money to eat. They don't care if your kids have ADHD and taking exams without their much needed medication. I will be taking this much higher than a Google review because I am sick and tired of them treating patients like complete crap. I left the Seabrook CVS for the same reason. I like the pharmacy staff here. The first time I came here was because I had a workers compensation visit with a doctor and he prescribed some medication to me. It was late and after work so most of the other CVS Pharmacies were going to be closed once the worker's compensation forms had gone through. However this particular location has the latest pharmacy hours in the area. They filled all the prescriptions in a timely manner and were very professional. Now I go here for regular prescriptions as well and I always give this address to my doctors (general, OBGYN, dermatology, and my dentist) for them to send any medications to. There is a CVS much closer to my house but it is all about pharmacy availability to me. As far as the inside goes they are pretty big for a CVS and they have everything you need. This section is also neat because it has a NASA gift section if you ever need to get a quick souvenir for out of state family (or if you are visiting and don't want to spend a ton of money on a keychain/shot glass/ magnet/etc at the space center across the street). I only shop here when it is time to pick up and Rx so I really only get little stuff like a snack or a cold drink. They have a decent selection. Again if I need regular CVS stuff then I just go to the one near me, but for a pharmacy call I go here! read more
