I have to thank the pharmacist. I got COVID while out of town in this area. I managed to get my hometown physician to write a prescription for Paxlovid. The first location did not have the anti-viral in-stock and I did not find this out until I called to find out the delay. I called around and this location did have Paxlovid. My physician had texted me a discount code. However, this pharmacist alerted me that a larger discount was available and gave me the website to obtain it. May blessing rain down on him! read more

Ridiculous. Was talked to like a child by pharmacist as he proceeded to exclaim this wasn't my normal pharmacy and he could only fill prescriptions once. Tell him I'm out of town for surgery he doesn't say another word just rolls his eyes and hangs up the phone at the window. Didn't even bother to go over my medications with. Worst customer service in the pharmacy department. Expect at least a 15-20 minute wait every time you call the pharmacy. When you do finally speak to a human, they're rude and short. A lot of times they have to order my prescription which they should have had in stock already because I have it refilled there every month for over a year now. When you are at the store to pick up your prescription, plan to wait at least 10-15 minutes. read more

I came in for a flu shot. In and out in about 20-25 minutes from start to finish. Most of my time was spent standing around waiting on the pharmacist to give me my shot. I'll admit I came in around 5PM which is a busy time for pharmacies trying to fill the daily prescriptions. However, when I called first thing in the morning, the pharmacy tech told me it would take 30 minutes regardless of when I came it. She was right. At least I knew that going in. All in all, I'm happy but c'mon...it's a flu shot. How can I give that more than three stars? read more

On April 1st I had appointment for covid vaccine at 7pm for my mother who is 81 years old. The pharmacist there refused to give vaccine to my mother because she had a Florida drivers license. Covid vaccine is a Federal Government initiative, so should not be relevant which State License she is from. Furthermore, the Covid Vaccine is not even an insurance matter, it is given to any US Citizen. My mother did not have insurance with her at the moment. The Pharmacist said he cannot give vaccine because it would be fraud. Please, employers of this Walgreens, please teach this pharmacist that it is not relevant which State the person is from, nor it is relevant to ask for insurance. All US citizens has right to vaccine at any place in the US as all vaccines are paid for and owned by the Federal Government. The reasons this pharmacist rejected my mother who is 81 years old, at risk age, who is US citizen, who had Florida license, who did not present insurance, this is really nonsense. Please learn and train the pharmacist on this matter so they do their job properly. read more

I had a horrifying experience at this location. I received my flu shot here and was trying to get the information faxed to my employer. When I called the pharmacy, I was told by the pharmacist that they could not accommodate this request as it was "in violation of HIPAA." This response was surprising, considering that I worked at Walgreens as a pharmacy tech for nine years, leaving the company only a year prior. After explaining the laws surrounding PHI to the pharmacist, she then began to make several other excuses as to why she could not send the information. I told her the exact procedure for sending the fax that I had used for years, and yet the excuses persisted. I finally asked to speak to the store manager. The store manager very obviously had absolutely no knowledge of pharmacy operations and took an "I back my pharmacist" stance. I then requested the contact information for the district manager as it was clear that there was nobody at that store that had a comprehensive understanding of health privacy. After asking for this information, the store manager told me that he is not at liberty to give out the district manager's contact information and hung up on me! I then reached out to the district office in Houston. The person who answered the phone gladly provided me with the email of Aaron West, the district manager. I sent Aaron an email explaining the situation, and he didn't even have the courtesy to respond. I finally went into the store to pick up the information I needed. I spoke to a fantastic pharmacy tech that I have consistently had positive experiences with in the past. I asked her if she would have been able to fax it to my employer, and she said that wouldn't have been a problem, reinforcing what I already knew. It's quite unfortunate that neither the store manager nor the district manager was able to address this situation competently. I am a very loyal Walgreens customer because of my long history of employment there, but I would encourage everyone to avoid this location and the district, if possible. It's obvious the management is vastly unqualified for their positions. Don't let them influence your prescriptions (and medical care). read more

This Walgreens has really gone downhill. I would not recommend going there if you really need a prescription- you may not get it and they won't help you get it either. The staff is apathetic and they just go through the motions. I need a pharmacy I can depend on! I have been a customer there for over 25 years, but I am going to have to find another one for the health of my family. read more

Only one star and they don't deserve that. Pharmacy staff are there just for the pay. They ignore you until the menial task they are slowly doing is done. Customers are a inconvenience to them. Had to call for my husbands rx's which are vital for his wellbeing and the woman that answered the call asked a question and then kept talking over me until I yelled to get her attention and then she hung up on me. Trying to communicate to anyone in the pharmacy is beyond frustrating. The drive through isn't any better. I was waiting at the window and two people were having a conversation and totally ignored my presence. I asked them if I should try again later. Calm environment to go to. The pharmacy is useful. The cashier informs me their special deals every now and then. I ask help from one of their employees and 9 times out of 10, they are friendly and helpful. Definitely come here again for my convenience. read more

Whomever the lady was working the drive thru ( I think Balinda is her name but not 100% sure ) at 8:25 pm on Jan 8, 2019 is by far the most condescending, appalling, and horrible pharmacy employee I have ever experienced. You could clearly tell she was immediatey annoyed that i even pulled up to get my prescription. When I gave her my name She LITERALLY LITERALLY smirked and got some sort of sick pleasure in telling my that my normal $55 prescription is now $233 then proceeded to look at me smiling ear to ear . I assumed they hadn't given me generic and told her I had requested generic. And this lady continued to smirk and very consendingly said that it was generic.I gave her my ID and credit card without saying one word. For whatever reason She called some lady manager type person over whom never acknowledged me sitting there starring st them both and I could tell they were clearly talkking s**t about me. Have no clue why - I never asked to speak to anyone. I just told myself I'll pay the 233 and speak to my doctor. Then when I got home and looked up the price of the generic medicine, it is 58 bucks. Called back to speak with someone - and even though their sign says they are open til 10 - apparently this Tuesday, they closed at 9. I strongly recommend never going to this Walgreens. Period. It is unbelievable how horrible and disrespectful this crew is to their customers, many of whom have no choice to put up with their unacceptable behavior. I will gladly pay 5 times the amount or suffer WalMart to never use Walgreens. read more

The employees working in the pharmacy are always so helpful and informative. A couple of times I have needed a prescription filled and it was not able to be fulfilled at this location. The ladies have helped to transfer the prescription to the 24 hour location in clear lake. They always go above and beyond for you. Love, love, love this location! :) read more
