I come to the pharmacy an hour after urgent care sends my script. I waited in line for 45 minutes only to be told that it would be an hour wait. That's kind of ridiculous. And everybody is grouchy. I'm the one who doesn't feel well. Takes the fun out of getting sick. read more

This place is kinda a last resort location to get your prescription filled. My mother got her prescription filled here and it was hell. In the end, the pharmacist was very kind and patient with my mother because our situation was odd and it involved calling our insurance. It was just a lot. However, upon coming back the next day after we had talked with our insurance and fixed everything, we were greeted by another pharmacist. I don't know what was up this ladies butt but she was being very rude to my mother. She was giving attitude and acting like my mother was an idiot. Not something you want to deal with when you are in pain. We left and asked for her doctor to send her prescription to another pharmacy. Also, there is a sign in the pharmacy that says they are on probation by the state of California for not complying with laws. I don't know what that is about but it makes me not want to get a prescription filled there. read more

This place is absolutely terrible and Mrs. Mable that is so rude with no type of customer service but self centered selfishness shouldn't be trusted with any sick persons care she has the absolute worst attitude. She literally asked me why I continue to come to CVS on mchenry... shocked with her response I told her they are the only 24 hrs CVS in the area maybe she should consider working at another CVS that closes sooner that will accommodate her self centered schedule. I arrived after midnight to an empty store to fill an antibiotic prescription just received at the emergency room (one that I was supposed to get started on immediately... thankful I got to the E/R "in time"). I was told it wouldn't be ready, for 3 1/2 hours! I set the alarm and arrived at the allotted time. The RX was ready but, on top of being extremely rude, Jeffrey gave me bad information. He failed to mention that you should not lie down for 10 minutes after taking (important at 4:30 am) and to drink 8 oz of water with each tablet. He also said "with food" and the paper said either. Glad I can and did read the paper. I hope he was just having a bad day... As it turned out, I had to return to the ER the next day because symptoms worsened due to the late start on the antibiotics. read more

The worst Pharmacy first I call to make sure it's open before driving 20 minutes away for a 24 hrs pharmacy he said it was. I get there and the pharmacist tells me the can't fill it till tomorrow, really? That was the reason I called . Can you give no star? The pharmacy is a big pain in the butt. I have tried the Oakdale location and I have tried the Mc Henry location (cross street Hashem). They informed me once they were closing soon and she kept saying it as I was trying to fill my prescription. Oh so my daughter in pain with an UTI can't get her prescription? Then told to call another CVS but she informs me of the other one that is closing soon ( half hour). Wow so helpful! It seems they are very unhappy there and don't like their job. I have had the rudest service and have to always hear them blame insurance. I had surgery and trying to get a prescription and gave up. Whoever the male pharmacy tech is should be fired and not work with people. He just wants to complain and is very rude when you even just say "hi" as you pull up to the drive in. Last time he greeted me with " well drive around you know we need time to fill it" as he slammed the window shut. So rude! Geeze! I have been told 3 different things on why my prescription hasn't been fulfilled and have ran around between the insurance and my surgeon. And was told something different today. If my company and insurance didn't prefer them I would go to Walgreens. And I rarely have prescriptions but when I do it has been the biggest hassle. I don't think these pharmacy people are in it to help others. I don't think they understand when you are in pain hearing the tech complain about insurance doesn't help. Spoke with the pharmacy manager and no "sorry you had to do this while in pain" "sorry he was rude to you" " sorry you had surgery and don't have your prescription-STILL" Doesn't care how rude his staff is. I just went to go and put in a prescription bc I thought hey it's a drive through and it's night time and I need my meds...then I'm sitting waiting forever for a car in front of me which I didn't mind too much... Check your meds! My pregnant wife was supposed to get simple antibiotics and instead was given pain meds (tramodol). Luckily she's a nurse and spotted the med error, but the average person may not have noticed. You guys really need to check what you do. People, and unborn babies can get hurt. read more

I have been to all CVS pharmacies and they are all very, very, very unprofessional. Every employee at all of the CVS pharmacies are slow, unprofessional, stupid, illiterate, uncaring, rude and so are the managers. CVS is the type of place where you can pick up toothpaste, a pack of pencils, hair ties, a candy bar, and some flip flops at 3:30am. I had a similar urge, but I just needed a hat, and it was 5:00am. I went around the store but there were no hats to be found. They did have flip flops. I spoke with an employee, and she was extremely nice. She looked as well to confirm that there were no hats. Instead of telling me that she did not know where I could find a hat at 5 in the morning she directed me to another store down the road. That is customer service. Two thumbs up for that. This store is also really clean. I've been in a bunch of similar stores where stuff is out of place an it just looks messy. I'm definitely coming back to this one. read more

CVS sent out their weekly circular that advertised 30-pack of Bud, Coors Light, Miller or Tecate for $18.99 +crv with card, plus $8 mail-in rebate. So we went there, purchased the beer and picked up the rebate coupons. However, when filling out the coupons we noticed they were only good for purchases made between 12/17/17 and 12/30/17! The store manager said it wasn't his problem since the circular came from "corporate"! Just love their misleading advertising and weaseling out of responsibility. read more

I just finished leaving this store and out of all the CVS Stores that I've been to this is my favorite! I have to give credit to Michael I think that was his name but he had great customer service and that is really important to my husband and I and he also ran to my car to bring me my bag of hair dye (that I really needed) to pretty much the street. Me and my husband just talked about him the whole way back home, how we need more people like him in general. The CVS on 1700 Mc Henry is one of the worst places to get your Prescription filled. The Pharmacy manager is rude, They tell you a shipment will arrive on a certain day, no one can even send out an Email notice to let you know that the shipment will not arrive for another few days if that,and when you call to find out about it they are just plan rude and very uncaring about the fact that you are still waiting for your Medication, that you are in need of, the attitude is like to bad, you still have to wait. There are issues about their drive through also, many times being in line, then the other side opens up, that was previous closed, then someone just pulls right up in and is served when you have been waiting, when you really should have been next. This has happened to me and I have seen it done to others, or you think the other line is open , but when you dive up, they tell you its closed or not working. read more

This drug store is grossly inefficient. There is always only one person working the entire store, and the coupon machine is constantly out of order, so cash-strapped customers like myself can't get the discounts we desperately need to save money. there have been three times in the last 8 months that I have needed a pharmacy after taking one of my sons to the emergency room and received nothing but attitude and no prescription and had to go to wal greens. the pharmacist is the rudest, laziest I have ever seen. Most pharmacies want you to feel like you can talk to them, this man is not approachable. I realize they got busted with an inside job on meds disappearing but when i have a 12 year old that needs 10 vicoden and 20 antibotics at 2am from doctors hospital and he tosses the script back at me and says, I AM Not filling this one, I dont have any medicine for pain, then 8 months later i have another son that went to Memorial Hospital and needed 15 norcos and keflex, he tells me hes not filling pain meds and it will be 4 hours before i can fill the keflex, and when we pulled up at 3am he told me thru the intercom I will be right with you, I have one customer ahead of you, and there is NO ONE IN THE STORE. he shuffled paper, moved the phone wiped down the counter and then came to the window, He told me i needed to go to another CVS pharmacy to get it filled, which there isnt another 24 hour one open and he said it would have to be after 9am, when i asked him where, HE HUFFED and said they are all over, when I again got firm and said WHERE, he said use the book. AND MY SON IS SITTING IN THE CAR, in so much pain, the purpose of an ER visit is to stablize the patient until they can get to a doctor appointment or in this case, STITCH THEM UP and get them comfortable... I think the corp should shut this pharmacy down for the 24 hour service if they cant be of service. If the store can not or does not have meds, put a damn sign in the window, so i can keep driving, When i had to deal with him on BP meds and getting them filled with in an hour, he (the same) was rude to me like he was doing me a favor, when I told him i wanted all my meds transferred he chuckled, I walked across the street to Rite Aid and had it handled within one hour.so last august I took my prescription across the street to RITE AID, there is always a long line, in the store and at the drive thru window. they are not open 24 hours and it is a real pain, but the store people are real nice, always greeted with a hello and a smile, the pharmist is wonderful, and caring, and has even fronted me medicine for parkinson when i ran out and drs office was closed, b/c he knew I was not going to make it one day. the phone rings off the hook when i am in there, and when i go to my car, and look across the street, CVS has NO ONE!!!!. Think someone would do the math, MAYBE they think we are all buying cigs in the store. the store it self has wonderful staff, but the pharmacy has a lot to be desired, when I went to walk greens and explained to the pharmist about what just happened, he was shocked. read more
