This is generally a decent store except for the pharmacy -- although they are often out of sale items and sometimes they only have one BOGO item on the shelf when the BOGO deal requires you to purchase two. My main complaint is that they need to employ someone behind the pharmacy counter who can speak fluent and clear English. The cashier/clerk who was there today did not understand either of the basic questions I was trying to ask her and looked at me with a blank stare. She then got annoyed when I seemed frustrated with her. The clear plexiglas shield in front of the register is not helpful either and further impedes communication, forcing customers to yell through the plexiglas so everyone behind them in line can hear their business. Most other pharmacies do not have these shields anymore. English should be a prerequisite for all pharmacy employees. I am too frustrated to deal with this and I am taking my pharmacy business elsewhere. read more

One of the slowest CVs in the area. The pharmacy is worse then the dmv. I would recommend the cvs in Wyckoff. They are much faster and have more then one employee at the register. Can't we replace them all with self checkout yet? Pills sort out and it drops out of a bin, swipe your card and your good. Just saved CVs millions in pharmacists salaries. read more

Horrible staff for not only the pharmacy but the rest of the store! I was at self checkout and requested assistance since the item I was purchasing was too light for the sensor... pressed and unpressed the "request help" button over 10 times over the span of 5+ min and had to loudly say "can I please get some help over here" to finally have 1 of the 2 employees standing at the register chit chatting to actually help me. I intended to be in and out of that store in under a min but the lack of help and presence on the store floor needs to be addressed!!!!! read more

The Pharmacists at this location is disrespectful slamming a window because they messed up on my prescription. Gave a hard time say respect goes both ways but never gave an option to pay it full. The lady Norur started pointing her finger and yelled at me and my father saying to not yell when all we wanted to get script and never gave us an option to pay out of pocket. We got frustrated because she couldn't understand us in the first place. Nihid the Manager was extremely rude and slammed the drive thru door on us. I was upset and called back and he gave me attitude over the phone threatening me with that it was on camera, recorded audio and other customers heard an said that was rude which is very unprofessional. They never tried to de-escalate the situation instead they where disrespectful and rude towards me and my father by slamming the window on us. We called the other day and they said it would be ready for us today and it was not. There communication is terrible. There customer service can't control their own emotions when it comes to medical needs of the customer and the frustration of customers. We were upset and they were not listening to us and how we reacted shouldn't matter if you worked with us and they didn't even bother. I warn all that need very important medication to not go here. They can't even figure out who told us it would be ready today and insurance will cover it. Me and my father take accountability for our actions/reactions but there reaction it's still very unprofessional to walk away and slamming the window on a customer that needs medication. If you can't handle upset customers then you shouldn't be working there at all. I'm in customer service and I get spit on everyday just about and I'm able to de-escalate the situations read more

Just had to write to let you know what a great job Jessie does at the CVS in Midland Park. Everytime I go in there she is busy working and yet if she sees anyone looking like they may need help, she steps right in to help. Truly customer focused. And she does it with a smile! I do not like this particular CVS pharmacy department, the pharmacy section are rude . We are in the middle of quarantine and they refused to give my 80 year old mother a 2 day supply for her high blood pressure, just for 2 days to ride her over until her next appointment next I asked if they had any protective masks and the woman in the pharmacy dept didn't help at all and looked at me like i had two heads, the cvs pharmacy dept in Wyckoff is 10 time nicer and helpful. The pharmacists running this place don't know their ass from their elbow. As a result they make uninformed recommendations that are dangerous. They advised me to take a certain type of medication based upon my insurance. When I complained about it being ineffective they told me I was wrong and it was the se exact medication I had previously been taking. After having chest pains for several weeks I consulted with a doctor who changed my medications and resolved my problem. It was NOT the same medication. Don't say you weren't warned read more
