I have never seen a pharmacist go above and beyond for his patients like the pharmacist at Sunnyvale Pharmacy. Twice, I have tried to have a script filled at the Tom Thumb pharmacy by my house, and even though I have been getting the same prescription every month for years, they'll tell me that they have to order it and it'll be a week before it comes in. None of the other pharmacies close to me have it in stock, but when I contacted Sunnyvale Pharmacy, they had it in stock both times!

I still go to Walmart for vaccinations, they do that well though the wait is pretty long. CVS in Sunnyvale is the worst for everything. The communication and accuracy there is not good. The friendly pharmacist at Sunnyvale Pharmacy answers my questions, finds the best price for my prescription with my two insurances and fills my order promptly. I like the independent business atmosphere where I actually get to speak to the pharmacist instead of a succession of rotating staff with a lot of customers bustling around. They are kind, respectful, knowledgeable, intelligent, smart, personable, and accommodating to each customer. Most of the Walmart customer services workers here are also much nicer. It's a smaller grocery store but has most of what I need and is the closest to my home. After having my wallet stolen from the Walmart Supercenter location on Hwy 80, on Christmas Eve no less, I will be more selective about the Walmart locations I shop at. They are not all the same. On the phone, they tried to convince me that since they do not get any money from the state or insurance for the program I am on that the Pharmacy Itself charges as $5 FEE and then IN return gives it to charities. So the $5 is NOT A COPAY because it is Not being requested by any insurance company or the state program that I am on. The $5 is Solely being requested by Broadway Pharmacy itself and no other entity. SO QUITE LYING to your customers trying to call it a copay of any sort. This again just shows how pathetic you are and trying to lie to cover your backside. $5 may not seem like a lot to most everyone but to me it is. I do not have a job due to my health. Live with a mom who is on social security/limited funds etc and we have to watch Every penny we spend. So being charged $5 and being told (after verifying with the state and my local case worker that my plan Has Zero CoPays At All) is Infuriating. And IF you charge a Fee that is not being charged by the insurance or covering program it it also against the the law. I may just press charges to bring about a review of all your records and see just how many people you are actually committing this offense against. In our phone conversation the pharmacist tried to convince me the charge was because they do not get money from the state for me to be able to pick up my medicine there. So instead the pharmacy on their Own Accord Charges a $5 FEE that they Just Call a copay but the pharmacy donates that money to a charity. If I had an extra $5 I should be the one choosing where it is spent. I will Absolutely be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. You are a Sad, Pathetic person and got caught literally Stealing from your customers and no matter how you try to lie and make it sound excusable you can't. My body may be failing me but my mind is fully intact and understands complete LIES when being told. If you are so upset about not making any money by offering the state program THEN Remove your pharmacy from being a participating provider. UNETHICAL PRACTICES. I found this pharmacy as it was on an approved list thru the State Program I use that provides my medication free They had issues figuring out how to work with the state causing my meds to end up a week late. The BIGGEST ISSUE is that they charged me twice for my medicine when I knew they shouldn't be I literally HAD to have it. After contacting my case worker, it was verified that the pharmacy was Not supposed to be charging me. The 3rd time I went in they tried charging me again, I advised them of what my caseworker said and that if they had a question to either call him or the state program to verify it. The cashier tried getting a hold of the pharmacist and was unable to so therefore gave me my meds for free as they should have to begin with. At that point I called my caseworker once again and advise that I just wanted a new pharmacy as these people seem to be very shady. I would absolutely not recommend going to this place and if you do I would make sure if you're on any type of assisted program that they are not even charging you $5 because depending on the program they may be charging you money and basically stealing it from you if you're not supposed to be paying at all. Shame on you Broadway pharmacy.

There are new techs that sometimes may forget to tell you they owe you pills but the head man is always there. Just check your scripts before you leave.
