Since the staff of many years has all left, the store has become cluttered, not enough room to move my mothers wheelchair around the checkout area, the the guy terry or whoever is rude and nasty to his team when he thinks no one is looking, and overall, the feeling of love is gone. I used to look forward to walking through the doors. The team new my face, my name, my moms name, asked about her and remembered the details. They would always welcome me with a hug and once even cried with me. This new team took all the love out of the store. What a disgrace. I wish I knew where the old team went so I could go shop with them again. Even walking up to the store now feels cold, angry, and I've even heard the new manager talk about the old store manager in a disgusting way. CVS should have done more to keep that team. Worst Pharmacy Experience Ever. MIRANDA! Wow what a poor excuse for someone working in the field they chose. No respect and outright disrespectful to my family member picking up an emergent medication that was called in. Love this pharmacy!! The team members are always friendly and helpful. Have never had a problem with any purchases or with the pharmacy (which is our primary reason to visit this location). I have seen/overheard some customers be so rude to the pharmacy staff. I don't understand why because my experience has always been pleasant and positive. So you can't even talk to a human anymore at the pharmacy. You have to leave a message and wait for a call back, even to check to see if prescriptions are available if the automated system doesn't work. If they don't even want to talk to the people trying to give them money, there are plenty of other pharmacies who will. read more

First and last time at this CVS pharmacy location! I came here in search of the Valentine's Day Hello Kitty greeter, which was supposed to be here, per their website. Checked the business hours the night prior to coming here in search of the item. Per the CVS location on the CVS website, they were supposed to be opened at 8:00 AM. I came here around 8:30 AM to find the doors locked and MULTIPLE other customers and pharmacy workers locked out of the store, waiting for the store to open! I walked up to the store to check if maybe they had different hours posted and nope! There was another customer waiting at the front door and she said she was also waiting for them to open. She also knew that they were supposed to be opened at 8:00 AM. She said she was currently writing an online review for this location and she had been waiting there since 8:00 AM just to pick up a prescription. I went back to the car and all of the sudden, a lady parked a few stalls away, got out of her car, and had keys to the store. She went up to the door and opened up the store! Yes, this was 30 minutes after opening! So, the manager of this store thinks it's acceptable to show up 30 minutes late to work?!?!?! Talk about being in your own bubble world, your own little time zone.....good grief! If I did this at work, I'd be written up at the minimum! Got inside of the store and did not find the item I was looking for. I had originally planned to be here at 8:00 AM. Glad I didn't do that, because it would have been a complete waste of my time! ZERO STARS for the management of this store thinking it's acceptable to keep customers and pharmacy workers waiting for 30 minutes to access the store! ZERO STARS for their online inventory system spreading lies claiming that they have an item that they in fact, did not have in stock! Yikes! It burns, Mom. It burns! REVIEW SUMMARY: "Dynamic Pricing" results in jacked up prices for Apache Junction citizens. CVS jacks up your prices 6.5% above what they charge in swanky Chandler! Believe it, it's real! It's an understatement to say that this location is sour. It's downright toxic. Not only that... I see how they jack up the prices in AJ for the mostly middle and low-income residents, engaging in price gouging, which should be illegal. I bought a $20 bottle of generic iodine in Chandler @ CVAS and, a couple of days later, when I went to open it, the safety seal was already broken. So, I drove to the CVS in AJ and asked to simply exchange with a good/sealed one. (Hey for a $20 bottle of iodine, I want it sealed!). . Oh no.... they can't/won't do that. I had to "return" the bottle and buy another one from them. Then they broke it to me that the bottle in AJ was $1.40 (i.e. 6% higher) than in Chandler and I would owe money on the sealed bottle I simply wanted to get in exchange. I was a bit incensed. I asked them to price match with Chandler and they wouldn't. Tracy, the absolute dick manager, caustically told me to drive to Chandler if I wanted the (lower) Chandler price. Really? That's the best a CVS store manager can do? Despite her dick behavior, the real shock was that CVS is engaging in price gouging to lower income folks. You hear about in the news, but it is REAL. Chandler residents simply pay less at CVS then the folks of lesser means in AJ. It's disgusting and ugly. I hope Tracy finds another career as well. Customer service really isn't her forte. They should've apologized to me for having to drive several miles to exchange my health item due to CVS' crap bottling practices. Instead, I get a kick in the teeth insult. Wasting an hour of my valuable time for a sour/caustic experience. I won't be back. I only come to CVS for their price-gouging, overpriced iodine anyway and that's once every 6 or so months. Dealing with the idiotic phone system at CVS is terrible, useless and poorly designed. It is impossible to actually talk to a person to ask questions. Obviously they don't want my business. Update. Finally got to talk to a human. He was about as useless as their phone system and obviously agitated that he had to actually talk to someone. The end result was after telling me the meds would be ready tomorrow he cancelled my order. Had I not dug deeper I would not have known that he screwed me. In the past two weeks alone the Pharmacy failed to read my child's ADHD prescription that was for 90 days and lazily filled it as a 30 day script. then they gave me TWO bottles of the same exact blood pressure script on the same day when I picked up an antibiotic, and their computer system sends me a text every moth when my control med is ready to be picked up but this moth suddenly they are never ready and someone gives me a whole speech about it being one day too early so I am sick of waiting in their 20 mile long line with one snail on the register. they are WAY TOO busy texting customers telling them to pick up scripts they are not even going to fill until the following day read more

The pharmacy is terrible, the speed, the accuracy or lack there of. The staff is chit chatty with lines both inside and drive through. Wait time was over 35 minutes on my second visit after they said come back in an hour and I gave them 4. If Employees are on break (unconfirmed) they do not need to be on the floor distracting other employees. 10 out of 10 would not recommend. CVS integrity and punctuality should be a requirement in the pharmaceutical world and you neither. Update: it was recommended to go around the drive thru a 2nd time I proceeded made it back to the window and now I am parked and inside the store. RX still not ready. My 2nd visit today and followed two recommendations and the visit has been beyond a hour. read more

I had such a great experience with this pharmacy on 12Sep2024. I watched the pharmacy tech go above and beyond to help a customer before I was helped. You could tell it was a frustrating experience for this particular customer in getting approval for a refill that she was desperate for, and the tech did an amazing job at connecting with this customer on a personal level to cheer her up. You don't see this often anymore, so when you do, it should be recognized. They were extremely helpful, personable, and just NICE in my experience too! I attempted to pick up my prescription at the drive up window 3 times on 2 different days. All 3 times I waited over 10 minutes and nobody ever came to the window. I came home empty handed all 3 times. I am disabled so I cannot walk inside, I am dependent on the pharmacy window. If they can't run the pharmacy properly, they should just close it down. Its CVS prices are always higher but the pharmacy was just ok. I was in line behind someone, they paid and left and the tech just left the register with me standing there. I moved closer and no one came over for 5 minutes. Then finally someone asked I needed help. Maybe a one. Expect long lines at the pharmacy. Sporadic drive thru service. Unorganized- my doc sent e scripts FOUR TIMES in two days that cvs claims never came in. Ridiculous wait if you have to call them on phone. If you try to buy anything in the general store, they rarely, and I mean rarely have anyone working the check out. Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. After waiting in line to pick up a prescription, they didn't run my insurance, so they sent me to the drop off counter: I waited in that line then after inputting my insurance I was then asked to return to the pick up line that was now 15 people deep. I ended up walking out. If I have already waited in both lines WHY would you just not service me and send me on my way. It is your fault for not running my insurance (it has been provided)! Gentlemen at drive through is scamming the till. My rx was $5. I gave him a $10. He handed me change rolled up in my receipt. When I got home I realized he gave me $1. I went back explained what happened. My receipt reflects Bryan assisted me, my total was 5 and he received 5. Fact is his name isn't Bryan, I gave him 10 for a 5 rx and received 1 back. They counted the drawer and of course it was perfect. This in my opinion is because he put $4 in his pocket. They said they have cameras but not in the drive up. They gave me excuses... the last person didn't log out so their name was in the register, he must have entered exact change not the $10 he gave you. He said he gave you a $5, cameras Don't cover drive up. It's not the point of missing $4. It's the point he stole money. Can you imagine how many people he does this to. And most importantly he's handling rxs! God only knows what else he's doing! This is why u usually don't use cash. This 1 time I had a 10 on me and needed change. Pharmacy hours are wrong on Apple Maps but they are correct on CVS pharmacy app. They close at 7 PM on weekdays.

Always helpful staff. Systemic complaint - they break my 90 day Rx into 30 day every.single.time. My Rx is free with 90 days and $10 for 30 days. Why would they think I'd want to wait in the drive thru every 30 days and pay $10 versus free every 90 days. I imagine it's corporate policy to increase dispensing fees. The workers moved to a corner in the opposite direction while we were checking out our items. As 2 women of color we felt like we were being discriminated just from the color of our skin. I transferred my prescriptions to this pharmacy, and I had been happy with the fact that my RX was not made in China but the US, But getting a refill, has been a nightmare - been on the phone for well over an an hour, then tried to open an acct so I could just order refills online (they could not find my account ,so got sent to another place that kept me on the phone for another half hour and my phone went dead. Should not be this hard to try to open an account so I can order my prescriptions!!! Ordering online is just impossible. Very disappointed! The front counter people are great. HOWEVER, Chris, the pharmacist and one of his "friends" at the register is another story. Rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. I went in for a flu shot, there was no one there but me and no one in the drive-thru line either (I saw when I drove up). Chris refused to give me a flu shot despite the front counter woman telling me that they do take walk-ins. He refused to even look at me. Do not go to this CVS. Pick another location or go to Walgreens. Why give your money to this person if he's a rude person who clearly does not like his job nor is he a people-person. I hate to be that person complaining about an employee online, but this just has to be the most uncomfortable experience at a store I have ever had! I went in to get the first dose of my vaccine today and Tonia was monitoring everyone after their shots. I went to sit down and she got a little short with me and told me I needed to time myself for 15 minutes because I didn't "sit in the right chair" with a timer. We were located in the back of the store where they bring in packages, and an elderly man who was clearly handicapped and had difficulty understanding attempted to bring in some boxes through the area we were sitting in. She yelled at him that he wasn't allowed to go through this area, and he stood there not really understanding. She then proceeded to yell at him another two times before he said okay quietly and left. She then turned to all of us and said, "jeez, I only had to tell you 3 freaking times!" You could tell everyone was uncomfortable and unsure of what to do. Another woman in the waiting area shivered and Tonia immediately started telling her she needed to be checked over and over. This customer said no thank you, I feel fine, I just forgot to bring a jacket and got a little cold. Tonia mentioned to her over and over throughout my 15 minutes there that she wasn't okay, to the point where this woman began to ignore her and look at her phone. She then told us that there was a cure for cancer, they just weren't releasing it yet because of money...extremely unprofessional of a pharmacy employee. A woman and her son came over after getting their shots and weren't able to sit together, so Tonia told the son that he was old enough to look after himself and sat him down, much to his discomfort. She then went around trying to get everyone to take selfies with their photo prop and asked people to the point of harassment. She asked the boy if he wanted one and when he declined she said, "because your mom left right?" People were ignoring her at this point because she was making everyone so uncomfortable. They try to greet ppl but don't make eye contact.. minute clinic was super judgmental.. pharmacy is a joke gave me 2 prescriptions out of 4 said one wasn't sent over electronically from the minute clinic in the store I gave them 3 other medication prescriptions on paper which took 40 min then was only given 2 out of those 3. Had to waste gas to go back after waiting 40 min with no one in line. Called on the third med the confirmed med was filled with the other 2 meds but tech didn't give me.. said 4 med had to be ordered by store since otc. However pharmacists confirmed that was not correct. read more
