This Circle K was pretty good for a quick stop, but not perfect. This location has the newer layout, which is nice and looks more updated, but at the same time it already feels a little rundown and used in some spots. The floors were a little sticky too, which definitely stood out. My biggest issue with the new Circle K layouts in general is they try to cram as much stuff in as possible. It gives you more options, which is nice, but the aisles feel tight and kind of hard to get through when there are multiple people shopping at the same time. Overall though, it wasn't a bad stop to grab a quick drink and get back on the road. Not amazing, but good enough for what I needed. read more

I came here today for some specific energy drinks, Phx brand and they had them in stock. Other than a small issue with the self check out, the experience was fine and what I expect from Circle K as a brand. During this visit that's all I came in for was these drinks and I did find another drink as well. I do like seeing what drinks Circle K has that might be rare finds vs other stores. read more

Worst experience ever, was an employee barely a week before this manager Joanna went nuclear. Very unprofessional, telling stories about stabbing people in front of customers, the hot food is never time stamped correctly and is always bad and still sold to customers, poisonous chemicals to clean the hot dog rolling kine that people eat off of. Mold in the fountain nozzles. Bathrooms always trashed and stinks and half of the machine's in the store don't work. Never stocked and management sits outside in the car smoking all day while employees need help inside. Cashiers Lex and Adam are amazing a bright spot in a hole in the wall. TOXIC management, really suggeat you go elsewhere for ANY needs at all. read more

Need to check out your store 9228 Guadalupe Rd in Mesa. Horrible management there. Accusations and does everything to get you fired if she starts not liking you. I am not employed there but have seen it all. Treats the good works shitty and let's people just steal from this location all the time. It's always gross. Bathrooms are yuck and always out of toilet paper. Fires the friendly employees.... was nice for a moment to have someone there that greets everyone with a smile..... and not have your head down all the time. Most circle ks around this location have openly spoke negatively about this Joanna manger.... mention her name.... should have listened to EVERYONE about Joanna. I hate to do this because I shop here multiple times a day, but this review is due to a health and safety concern at this location. Their food handling practices and management need to be investigated. I purchased chicken wings this morning for my afternoon lunch. I had the wings there the previous night, and on a prior occasion, so I had a good idea of the normal quality. I refrigerated the chicken for 4 hours before sitting down for my lunch but upon my first bite I could taste that something was wrong. The meat tasted spoiled. I have a pretty strong stomach, so I tried a couple more bites before spitting everything out. I tried calling the location but no one answered and their mailbox was full. It was very dissapointing because I had to skip lunch and I was very hungry. I work out in the heat. I figured no problem, I shop there daily so I can just exchange the chicken for a different batch. However, the manager came out and told me that based on the time I bought my chicken it still had 1 hour of freshness left. He said that he wouldn't do anything about it and his demineor showed that he didn't care one bit. I had to take my spoiled chicken and leave. Not only was it humiliating, it's a safety concern that the health inspector should investigate. Fortunately for them, I was keen enough to spit the chicken out instead of ending up in the hospital with food poisoning. The manager there should be trained on a better way to deal with these type of situations, especially when dealing with frequent customers. I literally shop there daily and he knows my face. If this is how food is handled there then the hot food should be discontinued as an option before someone gets sick. read more

Only been here a couple of times, wife loves their flavored coffee. Only reason why we stop at Circle K. This place is like all the other convenient stores. Nothing special, you seen it before. And with all the competition customer service is very vital. Sounds like this store has an issue with that, however we didn't encounter that. read more

For gas this isn't a horrible place to stop. It's easy enough to get in and out of if you are going east, east or north on the roads bordering the intersection it sits on. Going south on Ellsworth and trying to hit this station I wouldn't recommend. They have plenty of pumps and the gas is cheap, but navigating the parking lot, even in the middle of the day is a bit scary as it's super crazy. I haven't been inside yet so I can't tell you what that's like. read more

This is your average gas station. The service is friendly and it's a good local spot to stop for your drink or a quick gas stop. Bathrooms could be cleaner and the store a bit more kept up on as far as cleanliness but other than that this is a solid stop. I still think Quiktrip is leading the valley as far as cleanliness and service. Circle K is my next choice. They have my elusive sweet tea energy drink flavor tho! Cant find this anywhere. read more

If I could give this location less than 1 star I would. The staff is absolutely inept. I stop in a couple night a week after work (around midnight) and never once has there been a clerk at the desk. I get the same thing every time from behind the counter and even being the only person in the store, I have never waited less than 5 minutes. The guy will see me come in, watch me walk up to the counter needing his assistance and he goes into the back for what seems like forever. The funny thing is they all do. It's just the worst customer service you could experience. The last time I went, the guy spray washing the parking lot soaked my car with filthy water and never even apologized. I know he's not necessarily employed by circle K but it just shows you what kind of business it is and the dregs they hire to work there. This is a nice area and everyone who works there looks like a crack head. It's a joke. I'll never go to a circle k ever again. I wish they put a QT there when they built it 10 years ago. This place is very busy. Rather than go inside to pay for gas, I pay at the pump. However, You would think with all the identity theft of card readers that this CircleK would make sure customers receive their receipt ticket when we choose to not to go inside to pay for gas. Why does circle K need to scan my driver's license? I am clearly over 21. All the employees need to do, by law, is see a valid State ID to purchase scratcher tickets. I'm just furious of the staff allowing people to come into this store without masks! I was in there 5 minutes and I saw over a dozen people not wearing masks and no staff saying anything. It is not my place to tell your customers what to do. Outside is another matter. You have a sign stating to wear your masks inside but not inforcing it. Every time I decide to give Circle K another chance to earn my business, I find their customer service sucks yet again. The difference between Circle K and Quiktrip is the professionalism and the fact that the employees at Quiktrip seem to actually want to be there. They actually help their customers with a sense of urgency and a smile. Circle K seems to attract low-grade employees and sketchy clientele. Circle K retains the title of second fiddle of the convenient store industry. I will continue to take my business elsewhere. read more

I worked for QT for 6 years. I noticed this Circle K had 1 Star. I needed gas bad, so I had no choice. I pulled up and the first thing I noticed was the Valet water was CLEAN. Even QT can be lazy about changing the valet water. The store was very clean inside (the lot included). The store was was faced and merchandised well. I stood in line and a clerk immediately jumped to the register...they had three clerks cashing people out... I didn't have to wait. Overall I had a great experience. This Circle met the quality of a QT, and because of that, they deserve more than 1 Star. Anytime there was a customer service related issue (previous reviews) I can almost guarantee it was a customer issue and not a Circle K issue! Keep up the good work guys!!! read more
