So I bought a gift card at this store. When I scratched the back there was only 9 digits and not 13. I went back and the manager Jorge said this is a new card and I'd have to speak with customer service because the gift cards are a different entity. He opened one a scratched one and that one had 9 digits as well. I called customer service and now under "expedited" status I'm expecting a call in 5 to 7 days. I know CVS is under fire for gift card issues but I didn't think it'd happen to me. Pharmacy techs are dishonest and incompetent. Also, fake eyelashes are under lock and key? I ended up buying $90+ worth of cosmetics for a wedding I was going to but first I had to wait around for the employee to UNLOCK THE $8 EYELASHES?? Then she wouldn't even hand them to me, they had to be walked up to the front of the store. I'm surprised she didn't put them in a handcuffed briefcase. Felt there was some recent change in management maybe? The staff that were at the pharmacy were different, and the service was terrible. I was notified to pick up my medication about 7 days ago, and when I went to go pick it up, the associate said they placed it back in stock since I haven't picked it up for 2 weeks..(that is completely inaccurate). Had to contact my doctor so she can re-issue my prescription, but I'm going elsewhere at this point. Another incident happened where my sister had to pick up her prescription, we lined up for a bit as they were backed up..and when she was about to pick up.. they said there was none for her even though she called in an hr before and they confirmed they will fill it..we were told to line up at another window to talk to the pharmacist directly, (waited again), one of the pharmacists was able to fill it up for her, but when we want to pay, she made us go back and line up again at the main customers pickup line.. the line already reached one of the isles at this point....when normally this should only have taken max 15 mins turned to almost a 40 min ordeal..it is just nonsense..when CVS screwed up, customers are punished. Never want to come back to this locaton..staff and pharmacy associates are not competent and lack empathy or know of how to recitify the situation appropriarely. read more

My 97 year old father was released from the hospital on 8/4/23 with prescriptions ordered at CVS in our neighborhood. Our pharmacist (Evelyn B.) had a question about one of the meds prescribed and she went above and beyond to help us obtain this medication. Since time was of the essence, she made several calls to the hospital and updated us every step of the way. This pharmacist is a credit to her profession. Very determined to help her customers. Love this place because it's walking distance from my house and the staff is friendly and helpful. But as off maybe 6-8 months the amount of homeless people doing drugs 5 feet from the doors is ridiculous. Last week I walked out of there with my son and he points out that a man is on the floor just masturbating feet from the door. I don't blame the security guards because I see them putting pressure on them but there is only so much they can do. I did have this problem at my place of business and being the manager I put pressure on the police department along with other local neighbors and business to send more officers and it took about 3 weeks to move them out of our area. The manager needs to do more. It does not feel safe walking In there anymore. read more

The interior was wide it hour over crowding. So many people walking in here just to check it out. It was a bit exciting once inside. Store staff was very helpful. This CVS is fine they always try to be friendly and greet you for the most part. I usually come in to get what I need and GET OUT. It's the closest store to me so it's convenient. This isn't about the actual store it's about the pharmacy, the pharmacy tech Jenny L was seriously rude, she said she needed my ID because codeine is a controlled substance, I don't usually get pain medication so I wouldn't know. Mind you I just got out of the hospital two big bandages are on my arm visible and yet no empathy. She then proceeds to read out is this your number and it was a 323 number mine you by this time I had already gave her my License so she can fill my prescription, you know help the patient and do her job. Anyway she's pulling up someone with the last name HERNANDEZ which btw is not my last name and I did get snarky and told her Thats not me, don't you have my Id? Out of nowhere the other rude girl gives me a face apparently they can be rude but we patients can't?! Which in reality I'm not being rude it was the truth. Then they proceed to say oh we don't have anymore Tylenol with codeine sorrry the shipment isn't coming until Monday. I had to fill an antibiotic, steroid and pain med! I feel as if it were purposely done and hence why I decided to make a review. Everyone has bad days but when dealing with the public there should be training or something. The pharmacist with black hair is usually helpful and try to go above and beyond USUALLY... I don't know if it's because she has two minion techs that are seriously bringing her negative attitude but it wasn't my best visit there. People abuse medication I get it but I'm OUT of the hospital I have a good job and a 2 year old I'm not trying to abuse the system, maybe screen and connect before you judge people. Try to stay away from that particular tech or maybe she needs to RELAX and not treat people like shit because she doesn't know the battles people are fighting. Being an ahole is not okay especially in their profession.. it's unfortunate because we need the medicine for a reason. I am writing this YELP review for Mónia, a CVS pharmacist. With covid 19, I understand how busy pharmacies are. But Monia went above and beyond to help my mom get a medication that wasn't covered by her insurance. Monia personally called another pharmacy, got my moms prescription to that CVS, and got us to pay less than half of what my mom was supposed to pay. Ms. Monia is clearly a leader, and deserves some sort of raise of promotion. Amazing customer service during these very difficult times. Thank you, Monia. This CVS is well organized and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was greeted by 3 different staff members went early in the morning and was able to pick up some medication at the pharmacy without waiting. The store is pretty small but they have a variety of items. read more

I had my doctors write me a prescription I called a few hours later just to see if it was ready... one of the pharmacy's technicians informed me that it would be ready as soon as I came in the only thing that they were needing was my insurance information. I go in about 10 minutes BEFORE closing and they refused to serve me because they are about to close!!!! The technicians there are lazy and the service there was terrible, they do not want to do their job worst place to go to do not recommend it. Had a COVID vaccine appointment. Had to wait half hour b/c the pharmacist had lunch break. Not her problem, corporate could easily afford to hire a nurse to administer the vaccines, at least for half-day, but no, they overwhelm the Pharmacists with giving injections, plus filling prescriptions. Zero attention to customer satisfaction/ convenience. Stay away, this big box pharmacy does not care. read more

I used to go there all the time when i lived closer it was my to go spot. I liked that i can ask the cashier or manager questions and they dont get mad about it. Espacially the manager april she was very polite she greeted and showed me where the item i needed was. For someone to take there time out of what they are doing and show me to the item is a huge plus. As for the pharmacy i love the people and enviroment there yes ive seen people get angry over having to show id for medications that are controlled and the wait time for the pharmacist being on lunch. People have to understand they have to follow the laws just like us also they are human not robots unless you are the one behind the counter doing what they do i suggest you mind what you say i with a diversity of customers and its not easy but hey they do there best. If people would bother to listen and comprehend. it would be easier I love the compassion the pharmacist evelyn has towards her patients and how she greets them and knows them by name. You dont see that now a days. My mom even asks her questions and she is comprehending and nice about it. I dont see why people would post bad reviews. You would understand if youve worked 8 hours you need a lunch and if you looked up some laws you would see how more laws and pressure apply to the people preparing your meds. New CVS set up very nicely wide aisles. So why with that being said they have this Tetris challenge for its customers. Almost in front of cashier counters they have these islands of random stuff blocking your way to getting to the cashier you gotta move your way around just to get to the cashier counter and if you have handful of stuff its a mission. So far I've been winning! I won't lie sometimes with long line and their Tetris challenge I want to quit. read more

Don't have surgery and expect to drop off prescription for pain meds unless you have called ahead to see if the pharmacist is on lunch or not....This pharmacy does not have ANY staff other than the pharmacist proficient in accepting prescriptions for pain because "they might lose the prescription". SERIOUSLY?!? Isn't it your job to take the prescription and fill it??? Oh...and DON'T try to drop it off or pick it up without your ID or sending someone with your ID. Way to make the customer feel like a criminal...next you will request a "pat down" to drop off a prescription. DON'T expect and service OR a call back from the pharmacy manager either. This is the WORST pharmacy ever. If you need assistance or would like customer service I suggest you go to another pharmacy. We tried to keep money in our neighborhood and support our local businesses but...after repeated TERRIBLE customer service experiences at this particular location our family has decided that it is in our best interest to go to another pharmacy where the customers are VALUED! I'd be lying with even the one star rating for the Pharmacy Technicians... I just couldn't post without selecting a star... beyond unprofessional and just a complete irresponsible staff... there should be a constant monitoring of staff. I confirmed 3 days ago if my refill was ready and yes it was... 2 of them, so I informed her of the discontinuation of one... at this point we were confirmed. So I went in today, on a Friday during work hours to pick up my medication... oh hello... she asked for my name and birthdate... and oh well look what we have.. 2 meds ready for you... I again explained that I am no longer continuing with one of them... and I am here just to pick up the one that is saving my life for now... so she walked back and put the one that I indicated that I will not be using... upon return then rings me up and hands over the meds that I was picking up. I payed and signed and was happy that I was able to get one very important thing off my do or die list.... well I get home which is completely in a different area than where I work and I come to arrange my pills before I go to sleep and I'm screaming in my head!!! She gave me the one that I was NOT to use anymore as just 2 weeks prior I ended up in a seizure at the same damn place in their parking lot when they again messed up my refill and 911 ambulance took me to the ER! I mean seriously what kind of idiots are CVS pharmacy hiring!!! Complete negligence and a lawsuit that I will be pleased to follow thru with as no money can ever come close to taking my life! CVS pharmacy at this location should be fined and shut down and the fda must step in or else this will go in front of federal judge! Watch your business burn Cvs!!! read more

A total disservice and a waste of time. I was in the neighborhood doing business so I went to the CVS store to fill a prescription. It took the clerk over 10 minutes to enter my prescription. She apologized and I asked her if they had the medication in stock and she assured me they did. She told me it would be 40 minutes because the pharmacist was at lunch. I came back in 45 minutes and my prescription wasn't ready and the cashier said they were working on it. I asked her to check on it for me because I couldn't wait any longer because I had an appointment 20 miles away. It turns out that they didn't have the medication in stock. They offered to order it for me but I don't live in the area so I wasted 45 minutes of my time. They completely misinformed me. read more

This pharmacy provides me with excellent service everytime I go in. The staff always greet me with a smile and they always get my medications out in a timely manner. The pharmacist Evelyn has excellent knowledge about the medications I take and always answers my questions and concerns about any new medications that are provided to me. She has gone far and beyond for me and makes me feel like family. I highly recommend this pharmacy as it has made my life easier to finally find a pharmacist that is not only knowledgeable but carasmatic and caring. read more
