When I saw that this CVS only had 2 stars I really couldn't believe it. I've never had anything other than great service from the workers here, especially those in the pharmacy. My mother had all her medications sent here and as she got older they made sure to also keep in touch with me to let me know when her medications were ready and if she got new medicine they let me know if any potential side effects to look for. They also made sure her medications were picked up when they were ready and when she couldn't get them they had them delivered to her free of charge. I've never met a pharmacy with more caring employees. As far as other things in the store I found most things to be very competitive as far as their prices go. I'd like to commend Mark and Sheldon at CVS for the amazing gracious helpful service I witnessed. They kindly and carefully put together a walker with wheels and everything for an elderly lady's husband. They really did it right, making sure it was adjusted correctly and checking over everything twice! Thank you Mark and Sheldon for your amazing helpful service for a customer who needed help. If I could give them negative Stars, I would. I set an appointment for a rapid covid test. When I arrive, they act like they can't find my information. I sat there for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out what they were doing. After the test was done, the young lady said my results would be ready by the end of the day. They were not. It is now the next day and I still have not received my results. I called earlier this afternoon and again, was put on hold for nearly 20 minutes while they tried to figure out what my results were. Eventually the lady on the phone told me she spoke with the manager and said my results are negative yet I have not received any email with my results still. It's ridiculous that people in a pharmacy are so inept and don't seem to know what they're doing at all. Pathetic. I'll never be going back to that location again. read more

More than once they have "lost" my prescription or when it says ONLINE it's ready, I get there and they don't have the meds. Tonight I went to pick up critical meds (asthma) - my doc said ready in 30 min. They knew my doc had called it in. They had already LOST his call from this morning but when I got at 7:57pm, the pharmacy (drive thru) was closed. I have Covid so didn't want to get anyone else sick. Mistake after mistake and never call to let me know that meds ARE NOT there. It's horrible. This is what happens when you have NO choice- CVS is a monopoly. (UPDATE) These people are so fucking rude. They will no longer have any of my business. Moving all my Rx's. They have no understanding of customer service. Fuck them! The night manager has no customer service presence. I usually come to this store for the pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions and the store for odds and ends with all my rewards bucks and 40% coupons. I have never been there this late and never plan on coming back. What horrible person this man was. Not even willing to work with me. I was returning readers that I bought earlier in the day. I had a 40% plus $3 reward. I told him I wanted to use the coupons towards some Deva Curl conditioner. He would not let me use the 40% and not even offer up something. It's not that fucking difficult. I will not be going back to this store. Moving all my prescriptions to the on one Keene and E Bay. That manager was HORRIBLE read more

Saturday, 7/31, I went into the location on Missouri Ave and west bay at 9:29. I walked in and an employee yelled we close in thirty minutes. Mind you, I'm in there for Afrin ... stuffy nose, can't breathe throug my nose from allergies and I know exactly what I'm getting. I politely say okay thanks I'll be quick. I get it and go to a register, a different employee then yells at me that they are only doing self check out this late.. okay, I self check out. A third employee, who i assumed was a manger by his professionalism and kind demeanor apologized and walked me out. I thought to myself from each encounter with the other two employees that they deserved a bad review, but I've got too much going on to leave one. But after receiving the kindness from the third, I thought, let me leave a good review. So I called to get his name. The first employee who answered seemed as she expected my call and said she doesn't know which gentleman I was speaking of but she could get a manger. I thanked her, anticipating to speak to the kind man I met a few moments earlier. To my surprise a female manger, named joe,Got on the phone. I explained to her I had a few encounters that were unpleasant but I want to leave a good review for the man that made my 3 min visit okay. She said he didn't want to give his name out. I said, I find it hard to believe a man, with a name tag, doesn't want to give his name for a good review. If that's true, I'll come back up and see his name tag. Her response was "let me ask him". Then. Put. Me. On. Hold. Lol this makes believe joe was one of the two employees that treated me unkindly. She came back a few minutes later to say he consented. His name is mark. So cvs, mark is a good employee, he's an asset. Your management is trying to suppress good reviews because of fear of their own behavior. So I am leaving a 100% review and a 0% review with the same story. Do what you want with it but mark deserves recognition... for kindness, for professionalism, for leadership... when he clearly had no examples to guide him. read more

This cvs isn't great. Never stocked with whah I need and I always have trouble with my coupons and the customer service.

In an area where Starbucks barely has a presence, CVS has taken up the slack, seemingly planting one on every other corner (with, oddly enough, a Walgreens directly across the street from most locations) . . . and now that they've absobed all the former Eckerd outlets, they're more ubiquitous than ever. Nothing distinguishes them much from the competition - they carry the usual array of toiletries, cosmetics, OTC medications, cleaning supplies, foodstuffs, housewares, gizmos, and gadgets, have a full-service pharmacy, and provide photo processing, just as you'd find anywhere else. What differentiates this particular store from most others is the utter lack of service. How does it not occur to the single and somewhat inept cashier staring at a gradually lengthening line of customers to call for assistance? Why does the manager open another register grudgingly, all the while mumbling under her breath, when she's made aware of the situation up front? It's late Saturday morning, a steady stream of people are coming through the door, and it appears these are the only two on duty. One is frustrated - lack of training? panic under pressure? - the other is upset she has to work while her coffee is getting cold in the break room. So sorry to disturb you, ladies . . . I'll make your lives easier and take my business across the street. read more

CVS Pharmacy - cvs pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - LARGO, Florida

I don't usually write online reviews, but I feel like I need to warn people about the WORST CVS ON THE PLANET!!! Let me start by saying that I LOVE CVS in general. I shop there multiple times per week, but this particular store is worthless and I always leave feeling frustrated. They rarely have what I came for in stock (even basics). Yesterday I went in to buy ONE item. After the cashier fussed around with the register for 10 minutes, she told me she couldn't check me out because the register wasn't working and to go check out in Pharmacy. She should have called the pharmacy to make them aware of the situation, but she didn't. So, I go back to Pharmacy and wait in line for them to help several pharmacy customers ahead of me. When I get to the counter, the cashier walks away without saying anything....and is off doing things for about 5 minutes (meanwhile, she hasn't even acknowledged me yet). Finally she comes over and I told her that I just need to check out with my item, and told her that the front register wasn't working and they told me to come back to check out. At this point the cashier and another woman said they wouldn't check me out because they are too busy to take on cashiering for the front. I told them that I have just been patiently trying to check out for 25 minutes at this point. They STILL wouldn't help me. I went to the front and told the "manger" about the situation and she said that she has no control of the pharmacy and she can't make them check me out. HUH!? It sounds like major conflict and pissing match between the front of the store and the pharmacy, and here I am stuck in the middle just trying to buy some damn tampons before I bleed out. I walked out in tears (only partially hormonal) and went to Walgreens. read more
