I love the self checkout registers. There are 2 of them in the front of the store, near the entrance. Customers don't know they're there so they wait on line for no reason until the checkout girl kindly announces the self checkout option. Small location offering lots of things needed for the beach but No bathroom. Really wish it was more reliable offering one.

This CVS is located not terribly far from Pier 60. This is a convenient place to grab some snacks or drinks. We came in to grab some beer and wine, the prices were about on par with what we would typically pay at Target. The snack section is mostly basics, but handy in a pinch. They also sell some souvenirs here, so I was able to pick up a "Clearwater Beach" magnet for $3.99. We checked out quickly and were on our way. read more

Good things: This location is well supplied with all the usual products a CVS has. They sell nice and good priced things to keepsake like; Clearwater mugs, glasses, t-shirts, key chains and more. Two parking spots on the public parking lot next to it. Bad thing: I got very upset because I needed to use the restroom and when o was paying I asks the cash register to go to their restroom and she sent me to a public one outside the store and a block away. Talk about a great Pharmacist! I forgot some of my daily meds on vacation. I was able to get a few from this location while I was on vacation to hold me over. The pharmacist was extremely helpful, quick, concerned, very polite, and helped me out! The rest of the place looked nice. We bought a few other things and the prices were normal. CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Clearwater Beach, Florida

CAR TOWED. I had my car parked in a 30m or less spot at 8pm. Went in to buy my husband and 2 year old son medicine as well as did some shopping and my car was towed in 20-25 minutes. How is this even legal in the US and how do I have no right to refute this??? Meanwhile, the employee was completely rude and just handed me a business card. Made it seem like this must happen often. $150 later and absolutely nothing I can do about it for not even breaking any laws or rules? We come to Clearwater often, but we will never spend a dime here again. read more

Went in to get a covid booster because the store advertises that they accept walk ins. Arrived right when the pharmacy opened, I was the only person in the store. The pharmacist said I need to make an appointment because "is the only one working" and when I pointed out how I'm the only one in line and they claim to accept walk ins he rudely groaned and reluctantly agreed to do it. I then told him I don't have the physical copy of my card and he turned me away claiming cvs requires a physical copy. I then called 4 different local cvs locations who all told me as long as you can pull up the dates on your phone it's no problem. So the pharmacist is just lazy and extremely unhelpful read more

This CVS is a great place to stop if you are vacationing on Clearwater Beach. They have a good selection of beach supplies and the prices are better than some of the nearby surf shops (I wanted a big floppy sun hat, and found one here for $10 compared to $20 and up everywhere else I looked). Sunblock costs less here than anywhere else along Mandalay Ave, however the prices are still higher than what I am used to at my local CVS in Orlando. If you want to save a few dollars I recommend going to this store first to stock up on the vacation items you forgot at home. read more

I came in the store to buy some items. I got an eyelash in my eye and wanted to use the restroom to help remove it. I was told there wasn't one for customers. The salesperson was very rude and unapologetic. Just stared at me and didn't offer any help. I am in my 60's, well dressed, polite, well educated. All the other CVS stores I've been to have public restrooms. I will not return to this store and will tell others about their lack of concern and rudeness to their customers. read more

I stopped in tonight to pick up a prescription that had been filled and asked to check on one that my CVS out of state told me was ready. I asked the pharmacist, Roxanne, to check that it could be filled at this CVS. She checked and filled it immediately; I didn't expect to be able to get it until the next day. The Pharmacy staff and the regular store staff are awesome and so helpful. People need to give these employees a break they deal with a lot of rude and not very nice people who come to Clearwater Beach for there vacation and think they can treat people anyway they want. Im a local and I live right across the street from the CVS Clearwater Beach. And about the bathroom situation, its because of the vacationers that the bathroom is no longer available to the general public , half of the time when there was a public restroom it was OUT OF ORDER because the vacationers would disrespect it and clog it by flushing anything they could, maybe if the vacationers treated the public restrooms like its there bathroom in there own home this would not be an issue. SO people stop complaining and blaming other people for your lack of manners and respect. read more

I live locally and I think some of the people that are giving bad reviews are ridiculous! There are public restroom scattered through out the beach areas use them. It's not just CVS most of the stores down there do not have public restrooms. For the lady who talks about threatening with a gun please do not relocate to Florida. Staff is pleasant. Pharmacists are outstanding. This store is one of three in the USA that has no weekly flyers, no sale prices on items. The clerk asks you if your item is on sale. Who knows if nothing is marked. CVS caters to the tourist, not the residents in the area. This policy is not fair to the locals in the area. Corporate said they were changing back to the regular CVS. 6 months into this and still not back to the previous CVS. Business is going to the competitor. This CVS is one of 3 in the country that has a special designation. It has no flyers in the store, no sale prices marked on the shelves and the computers only ring up full retail prices - not sales prices. A customer has to obtain a flyer from another store an take it into this store if they want to get the sales prices and/or extra bucks. For all other sales items not in the flyer -you are just out of luck! The helpful staff cannot make up for unethical management. read more
