I was admitted for about five days, and during that time I was being monitored with a TOCO to track my contractions. On Monday, July 20, 2026, around 3:00 AM, I started having significant pain. I repeatedly called for the nurse, but I was only given muscle relaxers and pain medication. Despite telling staff that the pain was continuing and getting worse, I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. From my perspective, there was a long period where I was in labor without the monitoring or treatment I expected. I was told I was 0 cm dilated, underwent multiple cervical exams, and hours later was finally transferred to Labor and Delivery. By then I was given morphine, fentanyl, and nitrous oxide, but none of it relieved what I was experiencing. At 5:27 PM, my son was born. The delivery happened so quickly that a nurse rushed into the room just as he was being delivered. From my perspective, no one attempted to prevent the delivery before that point, and I was left feeling completely helpless. When my son was born, he was still inside the amniotic sac. I saw movement and had hope, but I was repeatedly told there was nothing that could be done. I was never given the opportunity to cut his umbilical cord, and neither was my husband. That is a memory that will stay with us forever, and having that moment taken away has added even more pain to an already devastating loss. To make matters worse, after the delivery I was left sitting in my own blood and fluids for what felt like hours before I was properly cleaned up and cared for. During the most traumatic moment of my life, I felt abandoned, unheard, and treated without compassion. I understand that medicine has limits, especially at 20 weeks, but what I cannot accept is how my concerns were handled, how long I felt my labor went without appropriate attention, and how little compassion my family and I received. I walked into this hospital hoping my baby would be protected and monitored. Instead, I left without my son and with countless unanswered questions. I hope no other family has to experience the fear, heartbreak, and lack of communication and compassion that my husband and I experienced here.

While Walmart is indeed cheaper than Publix, filling my medication with Benzer is literally 1/3 the price of Walmart... and FAST! No more waiting 2-5 hours before the prescription is filled. Benzer has never taken more than 15 minutes to have it filled from the time I call it in, to the time it's ready for pick up. I'm not even exaggerating. Price(s) for same exact medication/prescription I've been filling monthly for two years now: Publix: over $50 (Full disclosure, I haven't filled my prescription at Publix in over 18 months. That was the cost at that time.) Walmart: $32.73 Benzer: $11.24 (for the exact same medication) My only regret is that it took me 2 years to try Benzer. And, get this: I only did so because I was willing to pay more if it meant I didn't have to wait 2-5 hours for Walmart to fill the prescription; it was always 2 trips; drop off, and back again to pick it up. They also acknowledged that the 14 day window for discussion and revision of formulation was NOT publicized and therefore probably NOT a good reason to refuse further assistance. I worked closely with Christopher by phone and email to attempt a second formulation of the medication, which I am happy to report, resulted in a much better outcome. I now have a sense that they are more inclined to be a partner, rather than simply an uninterested vendor, and I think their response has been much more in line with what I initially expected, given the sensitive nature of the issue in general. Best advice: try what they send, quickly, even if your are NOT IN THE MOOD. The key is to find what works best BEFORE you intend to use "for real." Second, keep the 14 day window in mind, and communicate quickly if you have questions/concerns/about the product you receive. My sense is their first "medication choice" is the lowest strength and a formulation that MOST people may respond to. Because you may not respond to this, don't give up. There is a possibility of making the current formulation stronger, changing the formulation, and playing with the dosage itself. Keep the 14 day window in mind, and stay in touch with them until your are satisfied.
