I've now had two very upsetting experiences with pharmacists at this location. On separate occasions, I was treated poorly by two different pharmacists -- one previously and most recently by Pharmacist Marjan. I am a patient with multiple documented chronic conditions and take daily prescribed medications that are managed closely by my physician. My prescription schedule was changed by my doctor from a 30-day cycle to a 15-day cycle, and there appears to be ongoing confusion in this pharmacy's system regarding the correct refill timing. Despite never attempting to pick up medication early, I was repeatedly told that I was doing so. In fact, on one prior occasion a prescription was filled early without me requesting it. Most recently, my doctor called in my prescription on time. When I went to pick it up, I was spoken to rudely and told it was "too early." I was instructed to contact my doctor, which I did immediately. My doctor approved the fill directly, yet the pharmacist still refused and continued to be dismissive. I understand that pharmacies have policies and regulations to follow. However, professionalism, clear communication, and basic empathy are essential in healthcare settings. Being spoken to in a rude or accusatory manner while trying to resolve a documented prescription issue was extremely upsetting. ****I hope management addresses both system errors and customer service, because patients deserve to be treated with respect. read more

Overall, the communication was poor, the process was inconsistent, and I felt like no one took the time to properly explain what was happening or help resolve the issue. This experience caused unnecessary stress and wasted time. I would expect much better transparency and customer service when it comes to something as important as prescriptions and insurance. To make matters worse, the pharmacy had been closed the day before due to an internet outage in the area, and there was no one available to assist, just a sign saying the pharmacy was closed in sharpie on the store door ( the store was still open accepting cash, but the pharmacy -no ). If you rely on timely access to important medications, this is not a location you can trust. read more

State they close at 6 and have woman named Zayda who lies about being at the front desk while I in fact was standing at the front and watched her walk to the pharmacy desk(from somewhere in the back of the main store not from the back of the pharmacy) after 6oclock hit. Then told me I hadn't been standing there for three minutes because she was just ringing someone up. Places like pharmacy's should be paying their employees to be open 10-15 mins past stated closing. They should not be hiring employees who decide when to close on their own when their communities are relying on them to be open till a certain time. Shame on you guys. read more

I will never use this CVS for my pharmaceutical needs ever again. I went in to pick up my anti-depressant medication like I always do and was told I needed "prior authorization" from my insurance and needed to wait two weeks. I can't wait that long so I needed to call my pshychiatrist but couldn't cause it was the weekend, and I began experiencing massive withdrawals as a result. After that I was told that the prescription should be fine and was never being held for prior authorization to begin with. Only now because I waited too long, CVS cancelled my prescription and needed my doctor's approval again. After doing that and waiting yet another day in physical and mental agony, I come back and CVS says they never got anything when I explicitly confirmed with my doctor that they did. Complete and total incompetence that I could easily forgive if this wasn't for my health. Disgraceful. read more

So! The first thing I want to say is that the coolest and most competent girls work here. Mari is a girl who sincerely sympathizes with your illness and pain more than your own mother. She constantly says "Ooooh, sorry, oooh, so sorry" and sympathizes with everyone so much. And Mariam also works there, a mega super girl. There is also a brunette girl who knows a little Russian, unfortunately I don't remember her name, she is also a super competent girl. Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the other girls. Absolutely all the girls are competent, fast, sooooo kind, humane, cheerful, always greet you with a smile and most importantly they are all mega super beauties. I adore these girls. Pharmacy in Laguna Niguel on Golden Lantern is very good. However, the store has old, worn checkout equipment that almost assures a problem every time one is used. When you don't self checkout, but use a cashier this is true. Just try to put in your pin when the numbers are all worn off!!! Using just the pharmacy is fine! read more

This location is the WORST location. Usually the pharmacy line is ten deep at all times because of the counter lady - she talks and talks and talks about random crap with every person in line. Today, I was surprised... nobody in line. Yay! But, it was 1:27pm. The chatty lady behind the counter said, this is my last customer, YOU need to come back after we eat lunch. I turned around, I was the ONLY person standing in "line". She finished with the customer, I walked up. It was 1:29PM. She said, YOU need to come back after we eat. The other person behind the counter, said to chatty Kathy, assist the customer. She then said, "I thought you told me after the last customer, we were closing for lunch". He said again, assist the customer. Chatter box then raised her voice and said, "LAST NAME", "DOB". After my transaction. I thanked the man and praised him for his customer service. I said to chatty, "you should look at the piss poor scores of this location, YOU do not have customer service. She then made some unreasonable noise at me and I left. Terrible as usual. I had appt for vaccine this morning. I checked in per the text message they sent me. And waited and waited. I went to counter and told them I had an appointment. She said it was an hour wait even with appointment. I left. This is the same store where they had a long wait last year. The staff here is beyond wonderful with him as was the pharmacy when he able to get his meds. I guess this place is on its way out. The shelves are almost bare of a lot of items. I wanted some Pepcid but what little they had was locked in a glass case. The CVS brand was easily accessible on the shelf but was a chewable that I didn't want. I just went home and ordered it on Amazon Which I hate to do. Would like to see brick and mortars stay open. The last time I had a prescription filled here, there was a woman in front of me with a cart full of items that they let her pay for at the pharmacy counter, keeping everyone in line waiting. I was sick and having trouble standing so finally drug a chair over to sit in. This is just a very poorly run store. Now I go to Costco even though it's a lot farther away. read more

Great place for pharmacy. Whether its a flu shot, or getting prescriptions it is the place to go for all my needs. The pharmacist Marielle is super friendly. Gail is also helpful with all my questions. Eryn, Pam, Edward, and John who are pharmacy technicians are also extremely efficent and on point. Vida is a pleasure at the pharmacy. She is friendly and always has a smile on her face. Definately reccomend this location. Customer service is top notch! Adriane, luis and the rest of the front store are always friendly and helpful. You cant go wrong. They call me when my prescriptions are ready, and have great follow through if there is an issue. Insurance problems? No sweat. They go above and beyond to help, thats customer centered service. There are some hiccups that arent their fault, MD office. But they take charge to rectify on my behalf to get it in a timely manner. Super friendly pharmacy team. Needed to transfer several prescriptions from another location to this one. I started on the app but decided to simply call. After navigating the automated system I reached the pharmacy. The person was able to quickly transfer all my prescriptions and even added the prescription synching option so I could pick up all of them on a single trip. Throughout the call the person helping me (wish I had gotten her name) was very polite and anticipated every need. Love this location. read more

They are too busy to care for patients needs . I have called the pharmacist to get my RX over rid over and have waited over 15 days . No call back after 8 calls to the pharmacy. They are more than slow and it not ok as I've just had 3 back surgeries. My Doctor wrote out an Rx . They won't fill it as the Dr will override it but they don't care . Unfortunately they don't have enough help so when you come to the store there's always a long line and when you call in order for you to talk to someone you have to be on hold for over an hour and sometimes they don't even answer the line. read more

I've struggled with this pharmacy for a long time. I always chalked it up to Covid negatively impacting supply chain/lack of support for employees/etc, and it's the closest location to my house so I dealt with it. But after today I realized it's just this location. My doctor sent a refill for a vital medication for me yesterday, and when I went to pick it up at 3:30 today I was told it hadn't even been started yet and it was "in limbo" (verbatim, limbo). When the assistant asked the pharmacist to speak with me about it she didn't acknowledge me but she said loudly she will not be able to get to me for a long time as she was "very busy." I gave up and called the CVS down the street at Crown Valley next to Ralph's, and within 20 minutes they had filled it. If you're able to drive I would highly suggest going to a different CVS. read more

Took them back waited and their photo department over 20 minutes asking for help and nobody came to help me. Was running late for an appointment to decided to leave and come back another day. Came back today we ordered the photos I need online and explain to the person that the other ones I got was poor quality. He still made me pay for the reprints of the same photos I made The other day that came out with poor quality. This pharmacy is a a s**t show. My vet sent over a refill for furosemide and they sent me home with Acetaminophen. That is completely dangerous for a dog. And every time I try to refill a prescription somehow I magically lose my prescription. I have no idea how this place stays in business when they can't even do one prescription. My vet sent over a refill 3 days ago and Surprise surprise nothing. I wasn't going to say anything from the first snafu but getting a refill is like pulling teeth I have to call repeatedly to remind these people. You are better off going to somewhere else with competent employees. I am filling a complaint with the California state board of pharmacy tomorrow. read more

Because CVS provides my insurance coverage for prescriptions, I received a notice stating that I had to do 90-day refills or I wouldn't be covered. No problem I'm fine with that. I transferred my scripts over to them and it took over a month for them to process. I called today to pick up and they said that they only have a 30-day supply available and that they wouldn't cover it; I would have to pay full price. WTF??? I was hung up on by the pharmacy tech when I objected, then by the pharmacist himself before they called back and said they were going to give me somebody else's prescription. Is that really a solution? CVS is a joke of a company but unfortunately I don't have a choice. read more
