These folks struggle and they try, but the store is dirty and Christmas time three rows all in the Christmas section covered up. You can't even get to a Christmas card you can barely get to the gift cards and this is acceptable. Good luck using the pharmacy. The last 6 or 7 times I used the pharmacy drive through they didn't apply the insurance for the medication and quoted me a ridiculously high price. I remind them to apply the insurance and they tell me that I have to come inside or go to the end the the drive through line to allow them more time to apply the insurance. At this point I sort of think it is intentional to see who will not make a fuss and just pay the high prices. Sure they are understaffed by design but sitting in a drive through line for almost 45 minutes only to be told I need to give them more time to apply the insurance details that they already have in their system is unacceptable. This appears to be the lowest rated CVS in the area but the have a fantastic location so they probably won't change anything for the better. What a shame. Looking into Delivery service like Express Scripts may be a better option FYI. read more

I was shocked how disheveled this CVS was! I went with my husband to this CVS because he had a COVID-19 vaccine appointment and I didn't want him to chicken out and not get it (seriously!) The registration was seamless at the door and we didn't have a long wait while he paced back and forth. Many aisles were blocked by excess supply and it was just cluttered beyond belief. Pharmacy absolutely does not pick up phones. You'll be waiting over 20 minutes and still on hold. Expect the time in the drive through and inside pharmacy to be long as well. No sense of urgency, or communication from them. Even looked at all other reviews, they seem the same, and I would like to add they do have a giant piece of paper blocking window, so no way for anyone to see each other, and know they will be with us. Will have you sitting in line and get mad when you push button to just see the wait. Again, lack of communication and lack of urgency Would recommend the one on Walnut Hill, much better! read more

Wish I could give this place less than one star. Don't bother calling, they will not answer. Have called multiple times a day on several occasions and have never had anyone answer. I only use this pharmacy because it is the only 24-hour pharmacy in my area, but I will be transferring my prescription the first chance I get. Wait times in store are just as bad. There are always 3 sometimes 4 people bouncing around in the back with only one person checking customers out during peek times. I'm not an expert, but peek times is when you should have at least 2 people checking customers out and one person at the drive-thru. Pharmacists have no customer service skills on the phone. Seems like a pretty busy location, it took 2 hours to get the prescription filled. The parking lot is a mess, horrible drivers + horrible sideways parking. Sketch area; the detergents had security alarms on them... wtf. I came specifically looking for a line of semi-newly released line of nail polishes and they only had 2 crappy shades left :-( no new WnW palettes either, sigh... The only plus was that they had 2 coupon machines and the one at the front actually worked, big fan of extra bucks when they have an inventory of products to purchase. Horrible this is my third time that i come for my medecine and is not ready I was in my doctor office at 9 am and came for pick up my medecine at 2 pm and wasnt ready they told me came back in half hour and came back now at 5:30 and they told if I can come inside and pick up the medecine because it wasnt ready yet they need 15 more min. I called to see if my RX was filled or if he had been put back and was told the system was down to call back in 20 min. I asked if he could look in the bin to see if by chance it was still filled (it's been 7-10 days since I filled it-I forgot) since he couldn't look it up in the system and he said "Oh my god! What is your name!" I said "if it's that much of a problem to look for me, I will go elsewhere and hung up! " I couldn't believe it! How dare he think that is ok! I called back and spoke to the manager on duty who was apologetic and asked if I wanted to hold while he talked to him. I said no thanks, I will go elsewhere w/my business. He said he would talk to him and also let the store manager know. I plan to call & speak to the store manager to insure he was told. What happened to customer service? Jessica in pharmacy went above and beyond at the end of her shift to get my mom's prescription together. It was late, I was tired and the insurance company didn't initially want to approve. Jessica stayed past the end of her shift, fought with the computer and the insurance, talking with my sister on my cell phone to make sure insurance information correct all to make sure it got done. Once everything was approved and the pharmacist was putting it together, she wanted to apologize to Mom for taking so long. Good job Jessica. Thanks bunches. read more

This CVS has gone downhill extremely bad. I spent an hour and 20 minutes trying to get somebody to pick up the phone in the pharmacy. I would wait on hold up to 10 minutes so I finally called the manager. His name is DeShawn and he told me he would walk back there but instead he just left me on hold for prolonged periods of time as I called back two more times to speak to him... Most of the time I have to say it is an hour or less. This time I was told an hour, left and came back after 1 hr and 15 mins and was told it would be another 30 minutes. It is only a problem when one particular pharmacist is always working. He must take on either too much that cannot be handled or be understaffed and needs more employees. Normally they call for help from the front of the store but he refused to call for help from the front. The date was 11/2/2018 between 1:30 and 3:30pm. The total time was 2 hrs waiting. Avoid this CVS Pharmmacy if at all possible! The parking is horrible. Store is dirty and parking lot. If picking up a prescription be prepared to wait. I always see a line! You would be lucky if they had your prescription right the first time. They are so unorganized and under staffed. Oh even if you have been waiting 15-20 minutes for your prescription they will take care of a car that drives up to the window before you. How is that fair? They don't have separate staff to take care of the drive through. Once you finally get to checkout the customer service is horrid. They treat you like it is your fault for being sick or needing medication and you are a big pain in the butt for coming in to the store. This place needs to be reported to corporate and I'm seriously considering. I will be changing my Pharmacy next time. read more

I have used a number of pharmacies in my time but never have I had the consistently courteous, professional service as I do this CVS drive through window at 183 and Story in Irving. They're all, and I mean EVERYONE, are like nice and even hospitable! Kudos to the management there. I've been to store pharmacies here and Coppell and you're lucky if they even acknowledge you're at the window when the store is empty. I mean what's up with that?! And yes this is a busy pharmacy open 24 hours so no your Rx won't be ready in 20 minutes but it will be ready when they say. You got my business peeps - keep up the good work! read more

this pharmacy is the worst pharmacy, you can call and be on hold for minutes/hours. i have been trying to get through for 4 days now at all hours of the day and nothing. they dont answer the phone in pharmacy, when you go there, they are not that busy not to answer phone. i am having my rx transferred to walgreens which is much better, their pharmacy dept communicates and answers the calls. i spoke to a young person friday night at 8:30am whom he said was the manager but didn't sound like no manager and was going to take pharmacy my name/number to call me which he didn't, i never got a call. do not use this pharmacy. they stink and wont never answer the phone. even in store, you can hear where all the pharmacy calls are not being answered, its crazy. they dont need to be working there if they cannot communicate or answer phone in pharmacy. fire them.
