I requested a refill of a prescription with their automated system system replied that the prescription had no refills and they would have to call my doctor to get refill permission. After not hearing from cvs for about a week, I called the automated system again to get a status according to their computer they were still waiting for the doctors approval. My doctor has never been slow in granting approvals for refills so I was a bit confused, so I talked to my doctor office and they said the approval had been sent days ago. Anyway, I asked my Doctor to send the approval again so I had my medicine the next day. I use the automated system to check the status of my refill and it said my prescription was in refill status. Apparently One doesn't care to get one's prescription refill honored after the pharmacy gets the OK. It just changes the status to refill capable and so then I said OK fine automated system. Please refill this. Checked the status later and the status is we're working on it. It'll be ready in a while . No useful time. Couple of days later I checked the status on the prescription refill and it's still in. We're working on it status. I decide I need to talk to a person and ask for the pharmacist via their automated system. I don't know who I Actually got, may have been the pharmacist it may have been a clerk, but I complained that it was taking forever to get refilled and that person told me they couldn't refill it because they hadn't Gotten permission from the doctor yet. funny. They changed the status to refill then they the status again to. We're working on it and this person has the nerve to tell we're still waiting on the doCyprus permission. either somebody is grossly incompetent or a flat out liar. Check the status again today back in refill status. apparently that we're working on it status isn't operative anymore. I think I need to find a new pharmacy this totally unacceptable. read more

This CVS is near Kirkwood... if there's a cute alien girl in heat, I know Spock wouldn't but maybe Kirkwood. This is definitely a good location of CVS located by Kirkwood, although it can be a nightmare to get to over to the north side of the street, but it's useful having it over here when we happen to be here, and it's a pretty decent location for one of these awful big box pharmacies, and the parking lot is a little small but it's not bad. Believe it or not they're organic sweetener which is Agave, and it is really excellent and we can't really figure out why but it is. So we often come back just for that. It's cheaper than HEB and Walmart and tastes way better, even when it's not on sale. The Eckerd that was here before is now long gone, but you can find its replacement which is CVS which just bought it out, and it's not so different except for being more expensive, so if you're coming here looking for an Eckerd, don't come here, but if you're coming here looking for a pharmacy in general just keep on coming because it's a CVS with similarly high prices and basically the same products for the most part. read more

It's just a typical CVS store. I'm here often to pick up something before heading to H-E-B or Trader Joe's across the street. I never do big shopping trips at CVS anyway. My recent visit surprised me with new carpet, but I don't like the patterns. It looks like wet carpet. However, I like their logical layout. I can find items easily. I had no issues with employees. Cashier checked out my items really quick. Pharmacy is always busy. With Chase Bank being next door, I could be back more often whenever I'm here. Manager Alli was super rude when I asked why they weren't opening a register the line. She then tried to encourage the cashier to take a patient clearly in front of self check out before me. That person politely declined. I explained to her I had a severe headache and she didn't offer even an apology for the wait as she walked away. read more

This is the location closest to me, so it's the one I use. They used to be 24hrs, but now they close at midnight, and the pharmacy hours are limited too - which is not ideal. That being said, the actual pharmacists are nice and efficient when they are there. This location stocks alcohol also, always a plus. The store is maintained pretty well and the staff is hit or miss. Always greeted when I walk in by the cashier. We come here for the pharmacy and Redbox outside. The pharmacy isn't the fastest or friendly staff around but it is convenient for us and the rest of the store is super friendly. read more

The manager on duty and the cashier were busy talking about numbers "woo boo we have 3" says the ma aged. The cashier "oh it was one just an hour ago and the lady came to pick it up already." I had no clue what they were talking about but this was all while she was processing my money of $10.00. I tune them out because I'm annoyed that they are customer focused. I hand her the money as she stumbles with the total. She gives me $3 and change back from a $20. When she gives it back I'm puzzled and I ask her why she gave me $3. She says it's a $15 money order. I told her it was a $10 money order. She is persistent that o said $10 and here he goes from the corner of the store "I heard $15." How the hell would y'all hear $15 when y'all have been talking this whole time and when I gave you my ID to scan I told you $10. I get the same money order for $10 every single month. I never get a $15 money order. Instead of owning up to it, they teamed up to make it seem like I was crazy. Smmfh. I'm so annnoyed. Horrible!! Staff is incompetent, rude, snobby, bad attitude. Need to raise the ceiling to accommodate their turned-up noses. They entered me in their system twice, and not only can't fix it, but still unable to find me to boot. Always screwing up my prescriptions, either forgetting to refill or refilling too much. I love this CVS. use to not be a fan of their through the roof prices but I can't stand going to the grocery store because it is too crowded. I started going here and man I love it. I don't buy much but in the evening I love the night crew. They are so nice, Big African American guy, Tall African American guy and a Hispanic guy but they always speak and joke with you. My teen daughter completely gets it when we just want to kill time we go by there. They always have sales on make-up which is great they be like 50% off. I will be upset if they keep running out of my size stockings for the plus gal. Over all 2 thumbs up read more

I work in this area and since the CVS is in walking distance I occasionally go here for a snack or just to kill some time. The front of the store staff is awesome! I am always greeted and they are always helpful. However the pharmacy is another story. I went to the doctor awhile back and had to have a new prescription the same day, So I had to sent here since I can walk right across here to pick it up since I needed to take it sooner rather than later. Since I am not a regular pharmacy customer I called to make sure it was ready. The first time I called it wasn't. I waited about an hour later and I called back (it was for my blood pressure so it was urgent). I get there pick it up and the pharmacist assistant said, "oh so you are the one that kept calling." Um, I called twice. I paid for my prescription and left. I have never and will never fill another prescription with CVS again. read more

I made a mistake and removed my debit card with the chip, she was rude in her manner and pulled my card and held on to it impatiently. I was weak and tired from being sick.
