I was across the street at one of the restaurants having dinner and I remembered I needed to pick up a few items so I decided instead of driving to the CVS locations closer to where I live why not go to this one while I was right there. It is set up a little differently than the stores that I am used to but I was able to find my way around pretty good and only had to ask where just one of the items on my list was located. The employees on the sales floor were very friendly and helpful. I did notice a few out of stocks but I also noticed an employee emptying out merchandise totes and restocking so had I arrived there a little later I may have noticed less items missing from the shelves. They have two self checkout registers at the front of the store and that saved me some time because the line to check out with the cashier was about 5 customers deep. The store was clean and the atmosphere was inviting. Plenty of parking available in their spacious parking lot. I would shop at this store again.

I have a real problem with this particular CVS. I have found prices on things mismarked on a…read morenumber of occasions. I would get to the register and find the sale price was not coming up which of course is not good and is also a pain. This pricing problem happened so many times that I not only spoke to the manager but also called the area manager to complain. Another time, they mixed up a prescription order and gave it to the wrong person who then contacted me! All kinds of problems with that error! As well, I would often find the shelves not well stocked. They would seemingly be out of things but if you asked, the item could generally be found in the back room. This meant you had to find someone to ask, which was not always easy since the place seems understaffed, and that person would then have to go search the stockroom. Tick-Tock. Lastly, the lines were often long because there would only be one cashier. So even though this would be a most convenient CVS for me, I have stopped torturing myself and no longer come here.

I called her to ask about when Union Pharmacy would be receiving the Moderna mFlusiva. Her regular staff did not know. I left several messages from September 3rd to today, the ninth. The last message I left was this morning when she was in a meeting. There was never a call back until I caught her this afternoon. She flippantly said she never received a message and that her staff would know the answers anyway. That was not true. They did not. When I stated to read off the dates recorded on my phone, she hung up on me. It was not accidental. There was no callback.

I always go here at least twice while I'm here for my annual week and I like it because we have a lot of CVS rewards points and coupons so I can use them when I buy stuff here and that helps make it affordable. Whatever you need, you can find here. They have a good travel size section as well so if you don't want to buy a huge can of shaving cream, you're in luck. There are cashiers and they also have two self checkouts so you can get in and out pretty quickly.

One of the best things to happen to me was having my PC quit his practice, requiring me to find a new PC. I cannot count my blessings enough to have been accepted by Dr. Thuraisamy at Outer Cape Health services in Harwichport. Besides being a wonderful, caring doctor, she turned me on to the Outer Cape pharmacy, where my first transaction was to finally get a prescription that CVS was going to charge me $450 for, and which I could not afford. The Outer Cape pharmacy was able to provide me with my prerscription at a savings of $440. The pharmacy is small, efficient, caring, and personal. I have moved all of my prescriptions from CVS to Outer Cape pharmacy. I keep getting emails and phone calls from medicare (eScrips) telling me that I could save money if I just put all of my prescriptons back at CVS. Not going to happen. I do not care if I may have to pay $2.00 (or less) more for my recurring prescriptions at Outer Cape. One cannot trade the personal attention and efficiency at Outer Cape for a $2.00 savings at a pharmacy network like CVS that has contracts with Big Pharma.
