SHADY ALERT! Idk what's going on in Valle Vista but there's some shifty activity going on at this CVS. I caught this woman via photo "scanning" multiple items and collecting loads of receipts. I think she missed quite a few items at the scanner and no one told her anything! I made a couple of gestures but this lady was too in the zone, she didn't even hear me. I really hope she wasn't shoplifting, the staff seemed oblivious. I like this location, it's well-stocked and has plenty of lens cleaning products. However, the patrons are very rough here. read more

I switched my prescriptions from Walmart here yesterday and am so glad that I did. We came in, and there was no line, which is Always great. The ladies who helped me were very nice and informative. I read past reviews and was expecting the worst, so maybe.... it was the way they were treated... I don't know. Either way, they were kind to me. Instead of paying $20.00 at Walmart here, I only paid $5.00. What a huge difference! What I did learn is that there is: 1. There is no cash back at the pharmacy section 2. $35 cash back at the regular register per transaction. 3. There are a lot of coupons printed on the receipt. CVS Pharmacy - 2024 - Drugstores Near Me - Hemet, California

This has been MY pharmacy for nearly 9 years. I've been through the "bumps" of new employees, no big deal - everyone needs to have the time & space to learn and grow. BUT, the pharmacist (that is probably STILL on probation for misconduct with controlled substances), should at least speak to a patient AND a Dr or Dr representative WITH respect. YOU are a pharmacist, NOT a doctor or "GOD", learn some proper communication, Jason Chvat. REFUSING to give your full name & credentials to a physician, is pathetic and totally unprofessional & unacceptable. Makes sense why your license was suspended. It's always a good thing to be safe when dealing with pain medication, but the way this pharmacist communicates is beyond rude. Show some compassion & empathy, or find a different profession - SHEESH... maybe Jason should work as a pharmacist in a prison!! read more

I understand the reason for the 2 stars. They should only have 1 star or 0 star. Pharmacist hung up on a prescribing physician who calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy for their patients and gives them business. I will refuse absolutely refuse to send anybody here or call any prescription here. All you had to do was answer a simple question. read more

This is the most inefficient, unorganized, mismanaged pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Add to that the extremely low level of customer service and it is easy to understand why this location has a 1 1/2 star rating. I don't understand how they can be as busy as they are. One star is generous. My wife and I got transferred here when Stater Brothers closed their San Jacinto pharmacy. We did business there for over ten years. I really miss them! I've been using this pharmacy for 15 years and over the last couple of years the service has deteriorated to the point that I am finding myself pissed off before I even walk in. They never have your prescription ready when promised, they tell you to come back at a certain time, and it's still not ready. Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy. read more

This is the closest drug store to my house. I went in to get some ginseng, did not see it on the shelve so I ask the pharmacist, which was not busy at the time. He had absolutely No interest in helping me, he pointed and muttered if we have it will be over there... didn't even make eye contact. I will Never spend a dime or set foot in that store ever again. Worst customer service! The lady who works the front needs a class on customer service..I was assigned to this pharmacy through my worker Comp. I did call before sending my daughter to drop off my Subscription. I always have the worst customer service experience. I get that sometimes people have bad days but not everytime I want to go pick up a prescription. It is usually a lady named Renee. I read all the reviews on here & was getting worried that maybe I shouldn't even give it a chance, but I had no problems there & it's close to home. The 2 women who helped me were nice & the pharmacist when I picked up explained my medication to me & was nice . When I got there they told me my Dr had sent my prescription to another store so they called & had it moved there, so I had to come back later for it. Got the automated phone call; my prescription was ready. The voice gave me the pharmacy hours but neglected to say that the pharmacist (the ONLY pharmacist!) on duty would be taking a random lunch at some unscheduled time. I was supposed to wait 20 minutes for my prescription for simple antibiotics because the pharmacist need to tell me how to take them. REALLY??? The instructions are written on the bottle in huge 15 pt type - even the size and shape of the pills are described. We are given a computer printout with instructions as well. Do I need a person with an advanced degree to tell me to take one pill every 4 hours? The pharmacy tech can't do that??? This was my second and last attempt to use this place. The first time they just refused to fill my prescription because my doctor is in Orange County. (He has practices in Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Newport Beach, San Diego, and La Quinta, but not in Hemet...) I have to wonder, Hemet is a city built on the "snowbird" population. These people, seniors mostly, come from far away to winter here. How do they fill their prescriptions? Not at CVS that's certain. Walmart usually has a line, but I've never had an issue with their pharmacy. and, if it matters to you, they are considerably less expensive. Pass on CVS on Florida in Hemet/Valle Vista. read more

My husband brought his prescription here and it was, a workmans comp case which is and out of town doctor and they said they can't fill prescription because its out of town. We took it to Walmart and they had no issue with filling it. read more

CVS pharmacy what can we say, do these people even care about their customers the answer is NO. on a scale of 1 to 10 they are a negative 100. They allow non pharmacy customer to ring up product in the pharmacy no matter how many items. I waited along with about 6 other customers while a crack head customer decided what 40 pieces of candy she was going to buy for about 25 minutes. While the other 5 associates behind the counter never offered to help just kept working on what ever while talking about personal matters. I would like to say this has been the only time I received poor customer service but it's every time I go to that pharmacy. Time to switch pharmacy's I guess. read more

Staff doesn't honor the price as posted. I was about to purchase some Off bug spray because the sticker that was posted said that it was on sale. When I got to the register it rang up for a higher price. I asked the staff member about the price and even showed her where I got it and where the price said it was lower. She ripped the sticker off and said it's the wrong price and that the sticker wasn't placed in the right location. Regardless of that though she refused to honor the price. How was I supposed to know I'm supposed to read the worlds smallest print to make sure one of their employees didn't place the sticker in the right place? I asked her again if she was going to honor the price and she said no. EVEN THOUGH that's how I found it. NOT FAIR. I wasn't being rude, yet she acted as if My request was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard. What happened to the customer is always right? I understand that there is a fine line however am I supposed to just question every single price marked on every shelf because I cannot read the fine print at the bottom? read more

I purchased a pregnancy test there. The cheapest one cost $10. Didn't end up needing it, so i took it back the very same day, with the receipt. They refused to give me my money back, because it said that i used an extra care card. I don't even have an extra care card! Nor have i ever had one! With the exception of Walmart, this is the very WORST pharmacy I've ever dealt with. The lines are SNAIL SLO; the staff acts as if they're doing you a favor to wait on you; and forget about getting through to anyone on the phone; it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. Save yourself time and aggravation! I've had to babysit them trying to get a Rx refill transferred called at 10 am to get an Rx transferred - I called at 3 pm to ask if it was ready an was told "no - in fact they called when the pharmacist was out to lunch" I'll call again now" they said - I call an hour later to see if They transferred my Rx yet - "Yes"- but it's not entered into our system yet. So I ask how much longer and he said another hour! I arrive an hour an 45 minutes later wait 15 minutes in line to find out that it's still not ready! I sit here another 20 minutes get to the register when my Rx was finally ready to get told that I "should have given my Coupon info to the person at the register when I first got here"! Omg really I was told my RX wasn't ready an to sit down! Now I have to wait another 15 min! Then the jerk actually has the nerve to tell me "that coupon only took it down $4 an to have a seat! Are you kidding me?! Never ever again will I walk into this crack head store - it's terrible by the way! Store is in terrible condition! read more
