Me and my wife Kelly went to Dallor General on 4-25-2026 we needed assistance for a item on the top shelf we are only 4.9 in height,,, there was a ladder handy in the isle so I used it to Retrieve are item ,,, we were yelled at by a manager who totally raised her voice and was rude and Mean ,,, we are in are late 60s and did not appreciate being disrespected I'm sure the whole store heard her.... read more

I stumbled into this store today just looking for some hair ties that are stronger than most. I had NO IDEA how big this place truly was from the outside. It just looks like a small family store. This place is more like a small "big lots". They have almost everything you need and at a decent price. It's definitely a hidden gem in Valle Vista! The store is clean on the inside even though the exterior looks a bit worn. I would absolutely come back here again. Hopefully, the employees won't be looking at me crazy the next time I come for taking pictures or even comment on it. That was a but weird, but I get it. If you're traveling through, it is a great stop if you don't want to drive to the west side of Florida. read more

Is it just me or does everyone that works at this store Hate Their Job ?? Everytime I go into this store it is so disorganized, messy, products are always in the wrong place and sitting in the aisles blocking the shelves, and the employees that work there clearly do not want to be there, AND I DON'T Blame Them !! So the other day I went in there (Its always kind of depressing there) I do my thing and decide to buy beer since it is getting hotter outside. I see this girl that has worked in this store before. Not there all the time. I noticed before she kind of had an attitude but I attributed it to the not wanting to work at Dollar General like the rest of the people there. Well, I do my thing and go to checkout. Nobody is at the counter so I set my stuff down at the closed counter while I get an item I forgot about. Here comes the baby Huey type employee to check me out since I am sure they were watching the camera in the back room. No big deal right ? Wrong. He grabs my stuff I set down and asks if its mine (as if he didn't know) Yes I said, I have to grab some toothpaste. I get back to the counter and ask for a bag of ice, he tells me to go get it. I said Its on the way out and they just run g it up now I pick it up on the way out. He says I don't do that. The guy was being a jerk right from the get go. Fine, I went and grabbed the ice. The he wants my ID for the beer !! Well, I am over 60 years old and do not, I repeat, DO NOT look like I am under 21 years old. Yet this clown insists I hand him my ID. When somebody ask for MY ID for beer and I look like a senior Citizden because I am one , I think of one thing and one thing only: This guy wants my address, or whatever info they can get off it because it sure as hell isn't because I look under 21. Well, here cone the girl. Turns out she's IT !! The New Manager. New one every other week so Who cares. Well she jumps right in on the conversation and is just really being a witch. She is on such a power trip that she remembered one time I bought ice there, had to wait for a friend so I put the ice back in the freezer until he was done. My friend finishes, I grab the ice and she comes unglued like I was stealing it. I corrected her assumption and she copped an attitude. Well back to this current issue, she butts right in between me and the guy cashier and is totally rude to me, the cashiers rude, and she let me know 5 times that this is HER Store, IM THE MANAGER, bla bla bla. TOTAL POWER TRIP. So I comply, show my ID and ignore the rest of the drama. I turn around to walk out and she starts insulting me to the cashier right in front of me. She wanted to escalate the drama so I called her out on it. She followed me all the way out the door yelling at me and when I didn't turn around to argue with this nit with, she told me never to come back 'to my store again' This was clearly set up by her because of an incident that happened months ago. People, This is one sick Individual who Dollar General has put in charge who now thinks she is somebody with POWER ! LMAO. I give her a month. Oh, and she didn't have to 86 me from this messed up store, I won't be back any time soon anyway. Stay clear of this business. read more

This use to be my favorite store in east Hemet to go to. This morning I was next in line about 8:40am. Cashier walks away. I said excuse me, she says I have another customer I say is there no one else in the store. It's an older woman short hair. The last time I was there she tried to charge me for a sippy my grandson brought in. I just think it's rude retail to walk away from your register. We left the items at the counter and drive to stater brothers. Not everyone there is rude. The young man that works there has a great attitude. I won't be shopping here anymore. When trying to phone the store no one answers a brief message comes on says helping other customers and hangs up. read more

Horrible service. Came to use a DIGITAL COUPON for razor.. It was the correct item and wasnt working. I asked why. She didnt know and manager wouldnt let me use it because id be getting it for FREE.. This place is so unprofessional....Amanda the manager is so rude and need to be let go......Store looks like crap each time we go in and tonight we witnessed she stopped 2 people from coming in saying very rudely That they were closed it was 9:56.... the store has just about everything you need and the associates there are awesome. BUT dont ask them for advise or directions cause there dumber a drunk pissing on an electric fence. but it's still a decent place to shop if your NOT in a hurry. read more

Today my husband and I were in the Dollar General off Fairview in Hemet. We were in line and this woman came up and said I was in front my daughter is in line for me. My husband said no problem go ahead. She looks at me at repeats herself, I told her no problem go ahead, my intentions were to be able to pass and get behind with my husband. She then tells me I already know, I replied back to her, the response is thank you. She then threatens me by asking me if I want to take it outside. I immediately began calling the sheriffe. She goes to the cashier telling her I'm calling the cops, the cashier Amanda then says I got you girl. Apparently their friends. So not only was I threatened by this customer but I now feel unsafe because the employee just empowered her by agreeing to lie to the police. Plus she didn't even take down and incident report but allowed her to continue to threaten me by saying she's from the hood and she'll f me up. Do yourself a favor and don't shop there, I don't recommend it. read more
