Mind blowing how bad this pharmacy and staff are. They are rude don't text/call you if the drug is out stock or if your insurance will cover it. They do nothing. 2 weeks later and I got a call from CVS lab in Massachusetts. They told me that my test is nowhere to be found. At this point I could be dead!! She also told me that they read the tests 7 days a week, not only weekdays like the Harrison pharmacy told me. Not only are the Harrison employees incompetent, they are also liars !! read more

My only problem with this CVS is the Drive-thru Covid testing site!!! For some uncanny reason, the last three times I needed to pick up drugs, my wait in line was - at the least- 20 to 30 minutes.......due to people taking the test while in the car. Once, I counted three persons in one car, all testing. To make matters worse, each time i couldn't even back-up to leave, due to a line behind me. There has GOT to be a better system! My suggestion would be to arrange specific hours for "testing only". i would gladly enter the store to pick up my drugs, but unfortunately, I can't. Other than this, I would gladly give 5 stars as I find the counter Staff and Pharmacy Staff very helpful, whether in person or by phone. i only wish they could improve this drive-thru problem. read more

Unfortunately I am here to tell all of you about the completely avoidable experience I had with this drive through Covid test center. I visited this testing site yesterday, and upon arrival I had noticed the locked access door portion of the specimen box was left completely open, with completed test bags sticking out of it. The poor customer in front of me in line tried to close the box, but with no success. It was obvious the box had been broken or something like that. No big deal, we'll just tell the attendant and they'll handle it some how..right? Wrong! When I rolled up to the test window, I questioned the attendant if they were aware that the specimen box was open. As well as if they were aware that the completed tests from over a dozen people potentially carrying a virus that literally shut the world down and has caused countless deaths were hanging out and free to be handled by the public. She said "yes we are aware of it, please just place your test in the box when you're finished" I was uncomfortable with this answer and again asked if there was some way it could be closed to be sure not only for my and every customer after myself's safety, but also to ensure no tests were lost or dropped from the box onto the floor. She informed me that the box had been hit by a car "about an hour earlier" and that it was broken. So, still uncomfortable with the fact that I had to deal with other peoples Covid tests potentially touching/falling on me I asked if they could simply tape it closed. I was again met with "there's nothing we can do, there's someone coming to collect all the tests soon. Just take yours and put it in the box" I was handed my test kit, and upon completion I waited at the window, when I saw the pharmacist walk by.. I said excuse me and kindly explained what I had just told their attendant about the box. He said "we're aware of it, there's someone coming" I again asked if they could simply tape the box closed until the issue could be dealt with. He replied agitated "listen if I could go back in time to an hour ago and keep a car from hitting it I would, just put your test in and go" Even the pharmacist refused to do anything about the breach of personal security and the risk to public safety caused by his store. He went on to say "there's four cars behind you, we need to get this train moving just put your test in the box and go" "I don't have time for that right now, I promise your test won't blow away or fall out" "cmon, let's go" "I don't have time for this right now" At this point I was pretty frustrated, and then refused to move forward, thus holding the line of cars until the box was taped closed. Which seems like a pretty reasonable request. I'm sure no one reading this would like to handle someone else's Covid test with absolutely no PPE other than one Lysol wipe.. the pharmacist finally came outside. Stomping his way to the box such as a pre-teen would do when having to do something with mom or dad.. then with extreme animation slammed the door closed on the box, aggressively slapped 6-7 pieces of tape on there.. looked me in the eye and gave me a very sarcastic thumbs up. Which I know was more of a f@&$ you. All in all, I'm not a person to stir the pot, however something like this, in a time like this, and the time it takes to actually correct the issue... seems pretty reasonable to be ticked off at. The box should have been taped closed immediately after the accident. It literally would have taken 2 minutes to do, and it did! Even with all the extra animation and slamming and banging.. it took about 45 seconds. Stuff happens, and it sucks that the box was damaged in the first place but as a business, dealing with something at this level of risk there should have been a protocol in place. read more

I never write reviews, but this place deserves it. Not only do they have nothing in stock, they are severely understaffed, and the staff that works there are rude, inconsiderate and all need an attitude adjustment. Most recently I scheduled an appointment for a Covid test, and since I don't own a car I walked up to the drive-through lane only to be greeted by a very rude man who wouldn't give me the time of day unless I was seated inside of a car. No explanation, no help, no kindness. This is a stressful time for everybody, and the last thing you want at the pharmacy or in the store is to deal with people who are rotten to their customers. I've lived in this town for four years, and this place has exceeded their ability to have horrendous customer service with each visit. I don't know why I come here. They should all be fired, and the building should be demolished. If you're in need, SAVE YOUR TIME and go to Walgreens. This place should be ashamed of themselves. read more

These guys in the pharmacy are incompetents, please don't leave them in charge of important medications. They didn't listen to their VM, the scrip was called in at 2 pm. It's now 5:04 pm, they had no record of the scrip being called in, it wasn't on the computer, blah blah blah. Then the pharmacist gave me attitude. 'Double check? Where?' They made me wait for 25 minutes, turns out they didn't have the meds at that location. Then they made me wait another 20 mins to find out which CVS had the meds. Absolute incompetents. These morons are dispensing meds? Didn't check their VM for three hours? Didn't even think to after we couldn't find the scrip? Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Ok, update. They're still idiots, I confronted him and he just got worse, and ruder. Told me they get rid of the VM's after a few hours. Is that true? Who are these people? I want that hour back. I was running late and didn't want to miss my train. So i ran out without putting socks on. It was nice out the last couple of days so i thought that i will be ok without them. Oh god, how wrong i was. i couldn't go back so i decided to run into cvs before going to my meeting. Cvs doesn't sell single pairs of socks, they come three to a package. So i said ok, my ankles are cold. Almost $8.00 for a pack of socks. Then i saw something that i needed for my trip and picked that up too. The cashier was very friendly. Not being from the area and being on a road for hours traveling home for thanksgiving when I realized I had forgotten my phone charger, I found the first place to pick a new one up and this cvs was it. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by friendly staff, who were more than willing to help all of their customers, including me who clearly was a bit frazzled and wanted to get back on the road as quickly as possible. I have zero positive words to say about this CVS, mainly the pharmacy. The main pharmacist, Yvonne, is one of the most unpleasant employees I've ever dealt with at a company. She is rude and condescending to customers which is simply unacceptable. She talks at you rather than with you, she does not listen a word you have to say. It is quite obvious that she either 1) does not know what she is doing and is trying to mask that fact by talking and talking (more like shouting), or 2) simply does not care about her customers or her job, or maybe its both. A customer in front of me in line actually asked her, more like pleaded with her, to listen to a word she had to say. Any time I have gone there, there has been a line at the counter and the pharmacy has been in complete chaos. The pharmacist is on the phone, yelling at assistants or customers, but yet not really accomplishing anything. Any time I have gone for straightforward prescriptions there is always an excuse as to why it isn't filled or why it can't be filled. She always asks for phone numbers for people who she then "can't get a hold of." Probably because she would rather waste time making calls than actually accomplishing anything for her customers. In a big city where there are 1000's of customers running in and out this mightn't be a huge detriment to the business. However, Harrison is a small town, with regulars who rely on good service from their local businesses. If this CVS is going to stay afloat, they had better completely revamp their pharmacy department because it is in complete shambles. My partner and I have both vowed never to go there again and will be sure to spread the word and bring our business to the pharmacy down the street where we will be listened to and helped without being disrespected and hearing any meaningless excuses. read more

This has to be the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my life. First I drop off a prescription to be filled ,when I call a week later to see if it has been filled I am told by the rude woman on the phone that they don't have a record of it. after arguing and having to describe the person I handed the prescription to I was told they would have to look into it . finally 2 days later when my Doctors office calls them they find the Misplaced prescription . Finally 8 days later when I pick up my med they only half fill the prescription stating that its back ordered and they will keep trying to get the other half and it should be in in a few days to a week , I should check back. SO I call twice and they tell me that its not in yet. When I am out of med and call the 3rd time I am told by a woman named Azaliah (who says she was the pharmacist ) that I needed a new prescription and that she had explained this to me in the past. WHAT?? I tried to explain to her that no one at no time told me this or I would have done so but she didn't seem to care or want to be bothered. Bottom line The people I dealt with here don't seem to care about their customers or their well being, so GO ANYWHERE ELSE, AVOID THE CVS IN HARRISON!! read more

I always find what I need in this store! It's very close to my home so it's just a few blocks away and just a five minute walk. I think that it's a great addition to harrison and it's here to stay. It's close to all the other stores in downtown, and it's easy to access! read more

I also agree that the pharmacy department needs an overhaul... Even though both pharmacists have always been very nice, there always seems to be an issue with my prescription. I am always told that there is never enough time to refill the prescription while I wait and they always need at least a couple hours to get it filled for me. Most times I do not have enough time in the day drop off the prescription and then return a couple hours later to pick up. There must be a better system that they can use to better accommodate the customer. Lately I have been using Trotta"s Pharmacy even though it is not as close. But I know when I drop off my prescription they will always have it ready in 5 to 10 minutes. I really hope that CVS is able to correct their pharmacy problems, because I do enjoy shopping in their store and would appreciate it if he could be a one-stop shop read more

The C.V.S pharmacy in Harrison, NY is staffed by absolute incompetents. Not only are they unable to hand you your prescription which is already in a bag, they are incredibly rude. All other C.V.S. stores in the area do not have this problem. Maybe management should screen the people they hire more effectively. These geniuses don't realize that when aggravated customers like me stop buying there, the store will fold. read more

Every time I try to get a prescription filled here, I leave without it SO FRUSTRATED because the people that work at the pharmacy are not only extremely rude and miserable, but incompetent of doing their job. They give me attitude not to mention every excuse in the book why it can't be done, when other locations have no problem doing it in less than 15 minutes, no questions, no problems. I only continue to try here because I live less than 2 minutes away, it's a pain to switch and I can't get over the fact that every employ that works there is equally as unwilling to help, including the pharmacist who just dishes the same unhelpful attitude. I've literally stood at the counter countless times for more than 15 minutes, waiting to even be helped when there is no one else in line. I've tried being nice, i've tried being patient, I even thought it could be a problem on my end. Every time they told me i needed to call a specific number, the doctors office, even the drug manufacturer at one point, which makes no sense, I would call and they would tell me everything was fine, it had to be the pharmacy, and I learned it was. It makes you wonder who they hire and their credentials to even work in a pharmacy? To be told my insurance is always the problem at this location, the doctor made a mistake, or they are "too busy" is unacceptable, and I learned simply excuses when the CVS in Rye has no problems filling my prescription and taking my business. The two times I was able to magically get my scripts filled, I never received calls or any notification they were done and ended up waiting days (while sick) come to find out they were ready.... I think they just don't feel like doing work. Beyond frustrating and unfortunately, all of the other reviews say similarly. Besides the pharmacy, the other staff who work at this CVS are good and it is a nice store, but now I go to the CVS in Rye, NY which is much less hassle. read more
