Wow. What's with all the negative reviews here? I've been coming to this particular CVS for years now and never had a bad experience. They do scripts just fine and never mess them up. The CVS is a decent size and you can usually find what you need. The only issue I have is with CVS itself in that my extra care card and coupons don't work. I get the coupon printouts assigned to my ID but then when I go to use them, they say they don't work or aren't for my account. I only have the one account. But now I just get most everything on Amazon. It's cheaper and I don't have to worry about the hassle of going here and hoping it's on sale. But for the CVS itself and the staff, they've been good to me! read more

I agree with all the negative reviews. This pharmacy is not helpful, they are inconsiderate to the needs of the patient, rude and unwilling to assist. I make multiple visits regularly to have prescriptions filled. Last time I was told, "it's not in stock but when I asked another technician (on the same day and within minutes), she looked around at unopened boxes and there it was. I'm moving as many prescriptions as possible to another provider. read more

Worst Pharmacy and Pharmacist! Over the past 4 months we have had to argue, fight, and complain regarding the mishandling of our prescriptions. They have shorted us medication on multiple occasions, asked for clarification from our doctors multiple times on multiple occasions for several medications, have stated that we have not followed certain procedures when in fact we did, and actively caused us more money because of their incompetence. The most recent issue which has been going on for some time is that they give us 30 day supplies instead of 60 or 90 day supplies. We have to go back to them and argue that they shorted us the medication. Just before that they refused to fill a prescription for our daughter stating we did not follow procedures when in fact we did. We had it cleared up and they stated the medication would be ready by the next day end of day. They then refused to give us the medication because it past a 7 day window requiring our daughter to get another test in order to be allowed to have the prescription again which now costs us more money. Inconsistent at best. Quick to put blame on the customer. If I had some other option I would say goodbye but I am locked in with my insurance. Their motto should be: We are here to make your life more difficult. 4th time this year that I have been told that my medicine was not there even though on the app it says I already picked up medicine. Yes, I'm feeling generous giving this CVS store my "1" start review. This store is over stocker with items I'm not sure who would buy. Then, understocked with items customers would purchase This review however is regarding the customer service I did NOT receive. I approached the front counter with 2 items to purchase. The 2 workers were having a conversation regarding belittling another customer who had just left. My prescense made no difference..not did they stop and offer to check my out. I actually had to say the words" I'm here to make a purchase & need you to ring these items up." I kid you not! Only then did the break up occur. The clerk did not even ask me how I was, if I found everything I needed, etc. All he did was discuss trying to find a Dunkin donuts close by. I wanted to use an extra buck and then apply a store credit card for the remainder. That was way too much for him to compute. I stood while he froze in front of the register just staring. I was completely running out of patience now & asked what the problem was. He couldn't answer. I then looked at his co-worker and told him to intervene..... Which he begrudgingly did. Mind you, I've got 2 items only that I'm really trying to purchase. So after taking a deep breath and counting to 10 I literally had to assist them so I could get the heck out of there. After the so-called called sale - he just started the Dunkin donuts conversation like my transaction was a mere blip... While I was still standing there. No bag, no receipt nothing.. of course I never expected a Thanks for shopping & have a nice evening! By now I'm at breaking point. I then interrupted them - said I need a bag and where is my receipt. I couldn't get out fast enough. There was 1 other customer who'd entered the store while I was dealing with all the nonsense. I love this CVS I come here for all of my basic health needs! Like when I'm feeling down and need a bag of cool ranch Doritos or when I'm hungover and need blue Powerade. My physical wellbeing would be nowhere if I didn't have such a close proximity to nail polish remover, birthday cards and scratch tickets all in one place! If I couldn't purchase color coded index cards, buy-one-get-one bags of Kit-Kats, Fourth of July themed flip flops AND napkins, I'd probably be in hospital bed rest nearly every time I got sick. Also if it wasn't for the male cashiers treating me like I have leprosy every time I go in to buy tampons or pick up my birth control, I probably WOULD develop leprosy! Girls are so disgusting! The CVS Minute Clinic here is a joke and a scam. My husband was charged $139 by these crooks and received no treatment for his lung infection. He gets these a lot because of his asthma. He literally only had his vitals taken and was told that's all she could do--didn't give him medicine to treat him--until he went and got an EKG, which he cannot since he has no insurance. Hello! If you can't treat someone, how can you charge them? CVS should be ashamed running this kind of scam. Stick to doling out flu shots. read more

Overpriced, understaffed and just plain rude. I dropped off a prescription to be filled and first they say it will take 45 minutes. Then she says my insurance company requires pre-authorization before they can fill it and I should call back in a few days. My doctor called them in the morning to straighten things out and he let me know it should be all set. After being on hold for 15 minutes I hung up and called CVS back, sat on hold for another 8 minutes before some moron got on the phone and told me they are working on my script but it's for a different medication, Wait, What?! She stated they were filling a script for something other than what my doctor prescribed. Too bad I'm allergic to what CVS wants to give me. I demand a supervisor and she stated they would call me as soon as possible. After waiting over an hour and confirming with my doctor that he wrote the correct script, I called them back and asked for the pharmacist. She got on the phone and said "come pick up your pills whenever you want". I inquired to make sure it was the correct script, she responded that the pharmacy technician made a mistake on my script. Oh great!! Nothing like having unqualified people handing out prescriptions that may cause allergic reactions. Now I have only a one week supply of a monthly script that requires me to drive 80 miles roundtrip to get another hand written script next week. Thanks for nothing you jerks. And try not to be condescending to your customers. Never will I give them any of money again. read more

It's CVS (Consumer Value Store, for those who do not know), they have gum, Christmas ornaments, hair spray and about 40 different ways for my 3 year old to get distracted and not want to leave the store without a tantrum. This one has a drive up window which is supposed to be for the pharmacy only but I exploit it and have the pharmacist pick up a few items for me in the store by telling them that I am sick...try it...it works. read more

This pharmacy messed up my prescription. It was 3 month prescription but I only received one month supply. They said I should have let them know the mistake within the week, but it was called in and I never get to look at it. Now I cannot get new prescription for the next two month. read more

Aweful. Always on hold for over 25 mins when calling. Very rude staff. Not open 24 hours and always understaffed at the pharmacy.

1-2 Hours on average to fill a basic PILL prescription.....1-2 hours to put 9 pills into a bottle? Seriously? I may switch to the one in Littleton they are BUSIER but yet 2-3 X faster. The pharmacists here are inexcusably slow. read more

Pharmacist was increadably helpful. Twice my Dr called in the wrong RX & he personally got on the phone with her to fix everything.

Last month, my prescriptions were faxed over by my Dr's office. 48 hours later, when I came to pick them up, they were not ready. Supposedly, the fax had been over looked. So, 40 minutes of walking around your store and I finally get them. Yesterday, I started getting texts that my scripts were ready. Today, I walk in and wait for 25 minutes to speak to someone. There's a line with only 1 cashier open. She's clueless and is taking way to long with the customer trying to print his receipt. Eventually, 1 of the 6 available people comes over to help and open a new register. She then informs me that only 1 of the 3 are ready and they're "working" on the others. How long does it take to count to 30 and print out a label? I know the answer. 30 - 40 minutes, so I can have the joy of looking around your store at the extremely overpriced items. Either you're faking incompetence to get customers to walk around the store and spend more, as is the CVS model, or you are incompetent. Either way, I'm moving my prescriptions to a real pharmacy and never darkening the doorstep of another CVS ever. read more

I recently moved to Groton and knowing the CVS chain decided to move a prescription there. The store is easy to get in and out of and the parking is tight but that is assumed around Groton. The pharmacy is always busy. Yet with two registers they seem to only want one person to manage the ever present line. Too slow for me. In addition it's easier to go to the drive up window which inexplicably takes precedence over people waiting in line in the store. Recently I was in and there were three people on duty including the pharmacist who happily chatted away on the phone while three people waited in line.. Good bye CVS. Standing behind one customer who was being cashed out by the only cashier at the front. The customer who was being cashed out was obviously a friend of the cashier as they discussed their summer plans, kids, beach balls, flip flops on sale etc. I had one item and recently had excruciating spine surgery and was in complete agony. After about 15 minutes of them getting caught up on what has happened in their lives for the past 20 years I asked if there was another cashier so I could get out of the store and home where I needed to be. Three calls were made for cashiers and no one came. How nice. I left. I spend a lot of money there yearly. As soon as there is another option I will be taking it. Horrible service. Two days ago I called the pharmacist for a question about mixing meds and never got to talk to one. The pharmacist was too busy giving flu shots to come to the phone. Are you serious?
