Had a great experience with the Pharmacist at CVS in Gridley he took the time and was able to find a lower cost for my medication.

Really nice store and employees. The store is older but well maintained. The pharmacy was fast and friendly.

Just everybody and everything gets a 10 out of Pharmacy…read moredepartment= 20/10 They are dealing with so much. So you just projecting on although it's the wrong party. It's too bad Pharmacist are held so many tiny little rules that will actually be detrimental to a license. Since they're the last say, they are pretty high up on risk management/mitigation. They have to balance the doctors who sent over incredibly insane prescriptions, especially Back during the different crisis when these doctors were pill mills, and that doesn't make it any easier. So they need to make sure to check all of the meds and some people are on tons, all interactions, make sure it's written reasonably, make sure they have it and then work with insurance which can be a pain and then pass all of this info along. You have no idea and I'm just selling who's unfortunately had to utilize pharmacies for 20 years given an injury that is a lifelong one and it kind of sucks but this Rite Aid makes this process not only much more pleasant, but I get to see some of my favorite people. They truly care and that's why I'm able to speak with him and I never have to keep a guard up. I get to be honest and they can help me out which they are very helpful So sometimes I think people need to look inward if they have a problem and maybe as their behaviors or maybe their attitude or maybe even into their understanding of how things work and realize the pharmacist are just the people you get to see and therefore you guys punish them as they are the face of organizations that don't even have anything to do with your anger! In 20 years, these guys are the most consistent, rule-based, so I don't end up getting a weird high number of everything that adds up, And I know that's on purpose so other meds don't add up and become a problem, but they're just so reasonable and it's such a disservice to ever say anything wrong because if every pharmacist in pharmacy was like that, everyone would be feeling so many benefits and nothing else! Just gotta be honest on this one Mannie Gabbie Anthony Travis And I have to get off of those otherwise there are at least four or five other names. Two of them work in the pharmacy and the other two or three in the store. Always greeting me by first name So if I were everybody, if you are very self-aware and willing to speak with people, disregard any review except for this. Just my thoughts

Last week a clerk told me I wasn't allowed to know which precription they had ready for my wife (she takes several meds and had somehow accumulated extras, so I didn't want to buy any more of that medication until she was almost out). When I asked which medication was ready, the clerk literally said, "I can't tell you that." I explained the situation and she repeated that she couldn't tell me for privacy reasons. I replied, "Can you show me the bag before I buy it?" She said, "No, not until you pay for it." "But then you won't take it back if it's the medication I don't want, right?" I said. And she said "Yes. It's a dumb rule." Well it isn't the rule, unless every other clerk I've dealt with in the last 7 years has been breaking the rule. I didn't want to make a scene or ask for the manager, so I just left. The next day I stopped in and that clerk told me which med...sure enough, it was the one we didn't need. We moved my elderly MIL closer to our home because she doesn't get around very well, walking is painful and she uses a cane. She went to pick up one of her prescriptions and asked if they could fill another. The clerk told her no, that prescription can't be filled until one day before your pills are due to run out. MIL asked when that would be, and the clerk told her to come back in 3 days. I'm not sure that there's a "1 day before" rule - I've filled prescriptions a week early when I knew I'd be out of town. They seem to have a problem with keeping track of which prescriptions are the most recent. A few months back the doctor increased one of my wife's meds from 1.25 mg to 1.5mg. I picked up the meds and didn't check, but realized when I got home they'd given her the wrong dosage. And when I called, as you might guess, they couldn't take the pills back, and wouldn't give her the correct ones at the price our insurance paid; so we paid out-of-pocket. The final straw was today when they gave me the wrong number of pills. Two months ago I went from 1/2 tablet a day to a full tablet for one of my meds. Walgreens got it wrong last month, and I just paid out of pocket for the remaining meds. This week I went in on Tuesday to pick up the pills, but asked if the script was for 1/2 or a full tablet. They said their records only showed 1/2. I spoke to the Dr's office and they (again) called in a script for 1 tablet daily on Friday. Today, Saturday, my wife went in and picked up my meds, and Walgreens got it wrong again! I called and was told there was nothing they could do. She could see the new prescription, but they couldn't do anything about the price. I'd have to pay out of pocket - which is 5X the insurance price for half the pills. I like to shop local when possible, even if it means paying a bit more. But the poor customer service and lack of well - trained staff at Walgreens is more than I can stand at this point.

Prices are quite high unless you choose their store brand and they happen to have a sale. One positive is that the store brand seems to be good quality no matter what you buy. They also have some good sales on groceries and even toys and cosmetics. Just look through the sales ad you get in the mail. The pharmacy is where I feel they really shine though. The drive through is very convenient. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Last month when I went to pick up my prescription it wasn't ready and they were just a few minutes from closing. Instead of telling me to come back in the morning they asked me to drive around and get back in the drive through line so they could have a few minutes to get it ready for me. I feel like any other pharmacy would have made me wait. Overall this is a pretty good Walgreens.

I noticed many great deals around the store. They have nice selection of holiday supplies, a great place for a last minute shop for Valentine's Day. I noticed Tina, the cashier up front, was very polite and patient to the customer in front of me who was elderly and disabled. She was also very nice and patient to me too. It's great to see that in a person, kindness.
